• Expandable text boxes continue on the next page?

  So I'm still new to do with LiveCycle Forms. I managed to get about 95 percent of the done form. What I can't understand is how to get a subform with two expandable to be returned on the second page text boxes. Any ideas? I read that "technically" it isn't a second page that it was all based on the hierarchy but, I have a second page "(sans titre Subform) (page2.") I want the subform with expandable text boxes ended on the second page and push the content down. So far, all I got is for information to cut at the bottom of page 1.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello

  given that your text box is inside a subform that is on a Page, you must ensure that each of the elements who are the parents of the textbox are all resolved Flowed content

  Also, make sure that each parents are allow to jump to Page content

  You can find these options in the object palette > subform

  

  Also, make sure that your text box has Page breaks allow within the content option 'checked '.

• How can I edit a PDF file to have an expanded text box and more small margins?

  I just read a long discussion initiated by a guy who wanted to reconstruct a PDF file to print less pages. I do not ask this topic. I am aware that Acrobat 9 Pro will not recompose the pages in a PDF for you. as someone has said, it is not a word processing program. I want to copy a PDF file into a new file with an expanded text box and more small margins, so I can read it more easily. My view is not so great.

  I try to print a U.S. supreme court decision, for my study. The problem is that these PDF files of such decisions are composed of 10-points with generous margins, in pages of Folio-size smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 "." When you open PDFs of these decisions, you get the margins very broad and relatively small characters. Essentially, I would like to re-rasterize the document so it prints on my 8 1/2 x 11 "paper in a larger size of apparent type, but at the same high resolution as the original. Moreover, the decision that I'm getting is almost 200 pages long, so I won't do that, of course, in a page-by-page manner.

  I guess I could do it in Photoshop, in pages to blow and their culture. Photoshop does a good job of eliminating aliasing when you do this. But it seems to me better to re-rasterize pages of the source PDF file. If any player would be nice enough to explain this process? (I'm fairly warned in Photoshop, Illustrator and printer of computing concepts, but a complete newb in Acrobat).

  If you want just this for printing, one thing you can easily do is to crop all pages to remove the margins. For example, you can RP 2 "on the left and right sides, and 1.5" off the top and bottom. Then print using a Scaling of the Page to "adapt to the printable area.

  To crop in Acrobat 9, select: Document > Pages of culture

  Be sure to select all for the page range.

• Expandable text box

  My client is interested in the following set up:

  1. a user clicks on a button and it brings up a text box hidden with information there.

  2. in the text box, there is another button that is able to extend the text box and displays additional information.

  3. when the user is finished, the click the button again and the text returns to the initial display.

  Can someone guide me on how to set up this situation. I am aware that JS should be, but I'm rather elementary in the JS area.

  1. What are the events is it necessary? (Mouseover/click?)

  2. how to keep the text box open and allow it to expand with a button clicked?

  can someone just help me out of this problem.  It took me long enough to find a way to create text boxes that extend to the bottom of a form, but now I realize that although develop text boxes, they overlap with the following text below box.  is there anyway to make this second text box instantly lower down on the form as first develops?

• What to buy to expand a text box?

  Hello.  An organization that I belong to gives me PDFs once a week to complete.  The text boxes are too small.  I can't type in what I have to and print it out.  What similar to Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat product purchase that will allow me to expand the text boxes?  I can spend a little money if I have to.

  I guess that you are referring to a PDF file with fields of defined forms.

  The attributes of the forms fields are determined by the person who actually creates the PDF form.

  Your only option is to change the definition of the form itself, assuming that the form designer has not locked the form in a way that could prevent you from making these changes (including the passage of the size and/or location of the form fields, the size of police and point text in the fields, etc.).

  These forms of editing (as well as the creation of forms) can be made with Acrobat DC. (Reader can fill out and save forms but impossible to create or modify definitions of field of forms!)

  But again, be aware that if the form designer has protected the form against the change of the field definitions, unless you get the password of this person to remove the protection, you cannot change the field definitions.

  Just moved to CS5 to CC and to see that the text boxes are always short fixed width despite URLs always larger than the size of the content.

  At hope that they corrected it because it is really difficult to type manually or correct a URL in these boxes of short.

  I have a WebHelp project created with RoboHelp 2015. I have problems with the text of glossary extend automatically without clicking a glossary term in a topic. This seems to be associated with the search function. For example:

  1. Open the exit of WebHelp in IE or Chrome.
  2. In the Find box, type a word or phrase (for example, 'Agent')
  3. Click on one of the topics returned by the search.
  4. Any topic that has a term to the glossary automatically displays the text of expanded glossary.

  This should not be the case. When you open a topic, no matter if you found via search, the table of contents, or else, glossary of terms does not automatically display the text expanded glossary. You have to click on the term to display the expanded text.

  Has anyone experience this problem? Any suggestions about how to fix it?

  All texts in the glossary are developed? Or that those containing search found in the search words?

  The second scenario is as expected. If the player searches for a Word and go to the page, RoboHelp will highlight all occurrences. Also those in a drop-down list. Don't not do can be confusing for your drive because they can't see the word they were looking for.

  You can also disable highlighting of search. This should stop the behavior as well.

  The two has a different function, as InDesign adds the overflow without showing the text in the container but in Muse, the container would be extended with text.

  In case you want to limit which, there is workaround. Enter the text in the image and then saw in the browser, check the source and copy the ID of the text object.

  The properties of the page, in HTML you can set different attributes for the text which would show the same when the site is published.

• Table of contents Table of contents in excess but cannot be a text box

  I'm building a book ID CS6.  My OCD is in a file of preliminary pages.  When I update my OCD, it updates only through Chapter 9, even through there are 11 chapters.  When I open the table of contents in the mode of the editor of history, it is said there is overset text and show the rest of the chapters for the TOC.  However, when I try and expand the area of text, nothing happens. I checked the file for Chapter 9 and see nothing different from other files.  I already rebuilt this book because the models and other once got all twisted up.  I prefer not to rebuild again.

  

  It turns out that the problem was caused by the dashed line.  I had the line set at 1 p p 0 and - 1 0 to leave a space for the chapter number.  However, when the number became 2 digets (10, 11, etc.) the text was obliged to the mark of the tab, made wide for the text box and so in excess.  I don't know why he didn't just go on a new line, but by increasing the dash a little, the text appeared.

  I am trying to create text in expansion boxes, but if the text does not have the entire text box, is there way to have the text box reduced to adjust to what has been typed.  I have the shrink to fit (height) is turned on, but it does not work.  I forgot something.  Thanks for any help you can give.

  You want to reduce the TextField either horizontally or vertically? If horizontally, then try the following.

  Click the Expand to fit the box under width.

  In the case of the output of the object TextField write the following script.

• Enter multiple lines in a text box & display the upper left corner

  I have forms where a large amount of comment might be entered in the form - perhaps an entire page.  When I create a large text box and allow multiple lines, the currently entered text displays in the center of the box and expands to fill the box, upwards or downwards to the Center.  Is it possible to have force the text you entered appear in the upper left corner of the box and flow down.  It's a box that people have written, is how they would do it.

  Click on the object and the palette of fonts (maybe it's not visible - you can activate in the window menu) click the paragraph on this menu, you can choose the text alignment.
