Expdp to export the individual partition?

Hello

Using oracle 11.2.0.3 and willingness to export the list of tables + 1 partition of a particular table.

Can expdp tables OK, but is it possible to limit the PPC for a table to a single partition?

Thank you

Hello

Yes you can, simply mentioning something like that

TABLES = schema_name.table_name:Partition_Name

  • Book PDF Export - purge disappears;  The individual files are very well

    I have a problem with the purge after the export of my book. I have an InDesign book including 8 files. After preflight, when I select "Export book to PDF", lost the document background parameters are not met. The purge is cut on the crop marks.

    "Export as Adobe PDF" settings are:

    Color Offset 0.125 bars

    Purge and Sug:

    Use Document bleed settings (which are all 0.125)

  • HP 450-011: delete the recovery partition after upgrade to win 10?

    I have a new HP 450-011 and it came with Win 8.1 and the recovery with the letter D: drive partition.  I did the upgrade to windows 10.  I made a set of recovery DVD for win installation 8.1.  Is there a reason for me not to delete the D: drive and replace it with my information?  I seriously doubt I'll want to roll back to 8.1 Win.

    Greetings,

    Have you tested the Win 8.1 HP Recovery disks before installing Win 10?

    A question is: If you need technical assistance from HP tech for a possible hardware problem. HP normally requires that the factory installed operating system to take in charge. This policy of HP may have changed during the upgrade to win 10. I do not suspect.

    You can export the recovery, Partition because it will not work now in any case.

    But you need a way to go back to win 8.1 when you need HP warranty support.

    Since you have already upgraded to Win 10, the only way to check the recovery of 8.1 Win disks is to use them and start all over again. Or the support of disks/USB recovery HP Win 8.1 on a new equivalent or larger HDD or SSD. A good installation means that you have now the factory install on this disk.

    It's a lot of work.

    The problem of guaranteed support is your problem.

    I have eliminated this problem by installing Win 10 on a new SSD. I have HP Win 8.1 on a separate SSD and win 10 on a different SSD. Possible guarantee problem solution means earn 8.1 running on HP SSD factory to check the problem of winning 10 SSD.

    Because you say Data Pump this file to use, it uses the default value.  expdat.dmp. If this file already exists, it gives you this error.  Delete the file before running Data Pump, use a different file name or if you use a more recent version, you can use reuse_dumpfiles = y in your order.

  • Export the registry to a text file

    Hello community

    We have created different variables in registry for various rules, for example, we have our own rule of "Ability to fileblah system" which refers to our own registry '_FileSystemCapcacityWarningblah'variable and it contains "custom" for different drives settings, for example, rather than using the default of 90%, drive C:\ fred.company.com has a value of 95% and D:\ has a value of 97% and so on.

    A customer suspects that he will need this custom information to a compliance report so that he can prove that we monitor X-system but Y-system from 90% to 95% etc.

    I found different ways to export the whole registry as an XML file so that it can be imported into another FMS, but not what I'm looking for.

    Is it possible that I can export a variable (or group of variables) in a text or CSV file?  I know that you can export the table of registry values, i.e. my customizations, by clicking on the box at the top of angle (first photo), but it does not show the name of registry variable nor any of the default settings, the customization procedure (second photo):

    In addition, it would be tedious to do each set individually and then explain what each is for

    Is there an easy way to export complete registry settings to a text/CSV file for some variables?  Ideally, for any variable registry that begins with "Blah_".  In this way, we can give our customer a file containing the following information:

    • Name of registry variable
    • Description
    • Global default
    • Type of topology (perhaps not necessary, but can be useful to have)
    • Topology object name
    • Value

    Thank you

    Brian

    Hello

    dumping the whole registry creates something... rather difficult to analyze. If you only for your controlled series of gloom, do not schedule performance (values according to the window) so this should be a good start:

    prefix = "blah"result = ""

    rs = server.RegistryService

    rs.getAllRegistryVariables().each() { var ->

      if (var.getName().startsWith(prefix)) {    global = var.getGlobalDefault()?.getDefaultValue()    if (!global ) global = ""    result += var.getName() + "(" + var.getComment() + ")" + "\n"    result += " + global default = " + global  + "\n"

        var.getRegistryValues().each() { val ->      if (val instanceof com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.registry.TopologyObjectRegistryValueInterface) {        result += " + " + val.getDisplayableName() + "(" + val.getTopologyType() + ")" + " = " + val.getDefaultValue() + "\n"      }    }  }

    }

    result

    It runs in the editor script or through fglcmd, export what you are looking for I think. See also your info api SL of the local server.

    Hope that helps

  • modeling of the table partitions

    Hello

    How to define partitions in oracle data maker? If it is defined in the relational or physical model (11g)?

    The table will store millions of cities linked to about 20,000 documents. I want to create a partition on the name of the city?

    Please advice...

    Hello

    Partitioning is defined in the physical model of the Oracle.

    Open the Table Properties dialog box in the physical model and set its property to partitioned on YES.

    You can then go to the partition tab in the dialog box.  You must set the Partition Type (of the LIST) and add the column containing the name of the city to the selected columns list.

    After you close this dialog box, you can, if you wish, define individual partitions.

    To do this, you should expand the node of the Table in the physical model tree and then right-click on its node of Partitions and select the new option.

    This will display the properties of Partition dialog box, where you can provide a list of one or more city names in the list of values property.

  • Is it possible to export the html code of a muse site I'm building?

    Is it possible to export the html code of a muse site I'm building?

    Mac_Heibu has the right idea. When you export your site in HTML format, it creates a folder containing all of your pages. Here is an example of what the file contains. All of your HTML pages, all of your scripts, CSS, code and it will also have individual files IN your main folder of your phone or Tablet versions, as appropriate. This method allows you to upload your files to an FTP host. However, if you try to upload to an FTP server, the BEST solution would be to go file > load on the FTP host. If this helped you, please mark the correct answer in the answer of mac_heibu and don't hesitate to mark my answer as a useful answer.

  • A slower loading into partitioned table as the non partitioned table - why?

    Hello

    Using oracle 11.2.0.3.

    Have a large fact table and do some comparative tests on the loading of large amounts of data histroical (several hundred GB) in fact range partitioned to date table.

    Although I understand if use exhange partition loading may be faster to load a partitioned table, trying to figure out why a standard sql insert takes 3 x long to load a table partitioned compared to an identical table but not partitioned. Identical EVERYHING in terms of columsn and the sql that the insert and second partitioned sql execution to
    ensure caching with no impact.

    Local partitioned table a partitioned bitmap index as compared to the non-partitioned table that has standardnon-partioned bitmap indexes.

    Any ideas/thoughts?

    Thank you

    One would expect that the queries that cannot no partition pruning may be slowed down, Yes.

    An easy way to see this is to imagine that you have a partitioned local index b-tree and a query that needs to scan all partitions of the index to find a handful of lines that interest you (of course, this is not likely to be exactly what you see probably but we hope informative of the source of the problem). Let's say that each partition of the index has a height of 3, so for each partition, Oracle has read 3 blocks to reach the correct terminal node. So to analyze each of the N index partitions, you need block index 3 * N bed. If the index is not partitioned, perhaps the height of the index would go up to 4 or 5 If, in that case not partitioned, you must read 4 or 5 blocks. If you have hundreds or thousands of partitions, it can easily be hundreds of times more work to analyze all the index partitions individual he would to analyze one unpartitioned index.

    Partitioning is not a magical option "go faster". It is a compromise - you optimize certain operations (such as those that can partition pruning) at the expense of operations that do not partition size.

  • How can I export the schema with all objects and a few tables without data

    Hi all

    Verion 10g EA.
    I export the schema with all objects but I need ignored some of the data in the table.

    There is a table 4 people gave huge, we need not to export data from tables but structure must export.

    Thank you
    Nr

    You can do this with a single command.  Run your export as usual and add the query parameters for 4 tables you want all the lines:

    expdp... query = schema1.table1: "where rownum = 0" query = schema2.table2: 'where rownum = 0'...

    It is best to place the query parameters in a parameter file if you don't have to worry about escaping special characters of the OS.

  • Table partitioned using the hash partition

    I need to create the table using hash partition and need to specify the number of partitions (for example, 32)
    1. How/where to specify the number of partitions? I checked under "partitioning" tab of the properties of the table, but "system partition" is disabled.
    2. What is the difference between the hash by quantity vs Hash of the list of partitions and which should I use?

    Hello

    To do this, you must set the Partition Type to HASH BY QUANTITY. Then, tab Tablespaces part of hash, you can set the quantity field on HashP to the number of partitions.

    Ownership of the system partition is only enabled if the type of partitioning SYSTEM.
    Hash partition list allows you to add entries in hash Partitions of the Table nsud Partition to set each individual partition.

  • HOW to export multiple INDIVIDUAL Clips clip sequence

    Ok

    There is a very good reason for this request... I DO and use it in FCP all the time... Why?  I shoot a LOT of stock natural history and then take a full hardware spool in the timeline panel and do my corrections of colors as well as in and out points and any other position working... I THEN export the sequence as well as a folder that lands the individual clips of color / edited "new" at it like the INDIVIDUAL sequences...

    In FCP I take my first reel & leave it alone; I make a new folder called Clips export... then I select all the clips on the timeline - the clips edited; drag them to my REPORT CLIPS folder; then cntrl clico paper Clips export and choose EXPORT ORDERS - on settings window that appears, I set the destination for the pliers and then make sure you check USE ITEM in/out...

    Now: How can I do the same thing on the Prime Minister?  Is this possible?

    Thanks for the help

    Here's what I'd do:

    Implement all my clips in sequence a timeline with color correction on each. Right-click on each element of the sequence of Assembly, then choose the nest. 50 clips could take two minutes to do. Organization of close and open SOUL. Click on the button '+' and go to your project. Now select all 50 nested sequences, and click OK. In SOUL, select all sequences and then configure your desired export regime and output folder and click to start the export.

    It takes no more time than does your FCP workflow. It's just different. Embrace change and go with the flow, like a twig on the shoulders of a powerful jet.

  • with the master page "insert current page number" error when you export the book

    Using InDesign CS for Windows 5.5

    Recently updated for InDesign CS (very old one from 2003). I save a copy of all my old files version and kept the old installed ID just in case (after reading all the horror stories on here).

    In my old version of ID, I created a book consisting of some 70 documents. Some of these documents are a single page, while others have multiple pages. In the multiple documents page, I used the "insert... current page number" character (or whatever the command was in the old version) on a page master and formatted as follows, for example: Page 1 of 17, Page 2 of 17, Page 3 of 17, etc. When I exported my book in pdf format, it worked fine. (I is not have to / want page numbers consecutive throughout the book, only in individual documents.) By that I mean my whole book is about 280 pages, but not all of these 280 pages are numbered, only groups of pages in multi-page documents. It is not read page 1-280).

    Am my upgrade to 5.5 a few months ago added some documents in the book, and (if I remember correctly) when I saved the book he asked to convert each document version to the new version, I said OK. When I exported the book in pdf format, some documents that are more than 2 pages are now counted wrong; the numbers are now like this: Page 1 of 17, Page 2 of 17, Page 2 of 17 (supposed to be page 3), Page 2 of 17 (supposed to be page 4), etc. Each page, but page 1 is now page 2 of that either.

    If I open the individual document and export it to PDF, the page numbers work very well. It is only when the document is exported with the book the page numbers to spoil. And it's not all documents in my book; This error starts to a particular document and continues from there throughout the rest of the book, affecting any document more than 2 pages. Documents several pages before that point in the book for export with the correct page numbers.

    I create new documents by performing a "save under" with a previously created document and cut and paste as needed, so I won't have to reformat or implement the page numbers on each new document. I use layers or styles (I do not know there is a better way to do what I need, but I didn't have time to learn the basics, just enough to be functional.)

    My attempts to resolve this problem so far (using version 5.5), tests with the first document where the error: (1) I have removed the document from the book, removed the page number character current insert, back to the current page number character insert, saved, the individual document exported in pdf format and it worked fine. Put it in the book, save, export, and it is bad. (2) I picked up the book document, export the document to .idml, registered as a new .indd new name, exported to PDF and it worked fine. Put it in the book, save, export, and it is bad. (3) I started to the top of my old version of ID, open from the previous version of this document, exported .inx, closed, open the .inx in ID 5.5, registered as a new .indd new name, exported to PDF and it worked fine. Put it in the book, save, export, and it is bad. (4) I moved the document to the top in the order book, put it on a document which correctly numbered pages, saved, exported to PDF and this document was still evil, but one who has been numbered correctly all along is still correct. (5) I compared the settings for this document to others that the number properly and found no difference.

    It's as if the page numbers get hooked on "2" when I export the book, but only in the last two-thirds of the book. Sorry this is so long, but I hope that this description of my problem is understandable. Any advice, other than to go back to my old version documents and start over?

    Thank you for your time and all the information great this forum provides.

    Alice

    Normally, I would say that this kind of problem is symptomatic of the incorrect numbering options in the book panel or an individual document or a bad update of the numbering, and those things are still definitely worth looking at.

    That said, I invite you to go to the original files, export each one to .inx and open those in CS5.5 and save as a new file .indd CS5.5 whose new name, then add them to a whole new book CS5.5. Books are pretty flakey without mixture in the conversion of files, and there are enough bad behvior file conversion directly inherited the .inx route is insurance a little success.
