My taskbar in Windows Vista Home Basic stops working.
I am running Windows Vista Home Basic with 2 GB RAM and 1.60 ghz. My taskbar, always crashes (stops working) when I set my volume or just even click on it. I get this little window saying to restart, close it or wait for the program to respond. I click on the restart and wait until it restarts, and then it happens again in no time. Whenever it freezes I also dropped the notification volume and networking. I need help because this is starting to frusterate me. Please if someone knows how to fix this problem, please share it with me. Thanks in advance.

1. press CTRL + ALT + DELETE.
2. click on Task Manager.
3. click on the processes tab.
4. click on the explorer.exe process.
5. click on end process and then click on end process.

All of my Toshiba Utilities stopped working.
Message appears saying "* stopped working" windows is looking for a solution.It was after that updates have been installed in the correct order as posted earlier in the forum. Not only the value added package configfree as well as PC diagnosis, etc.
I have a Satellite P100 - 160 PSPAAE under Vista Home Premium.
Any ideas? I think that perhaps is McAfee Security Center has something to do with it.

pop-up window, says "winrscmde has stopped working". I did a malwarebytes update several times and there is no virus.
