• sys and system schema are expired & locked after disaster recovery.

  Hi all
  
  In one of our development database, I conducted disaster recovery and he succeeded.
  After completing the recovery thre, sys and system schema are expired & locked.
  So, I'm not able to carry out any type of operation that is performed by the user sys and system.
  
  Database Version: 11g r2
  Operating system: RedHat 5.5
  
  Please please suggest me how can I solve this problem?

• Applet user accounts causing the failed connection and locking (all LOCKED OUT USERS)

  I set it up to lock an account after 3 failed attempts.

  If I open the "User accounts" applet, it causes the current user has a login attempt has failed. If I do this 3 times, I'm locked up.

  Worse still, if I open the applet "User accounts" and then click "Manage user accounts" 3 times, I lock all users!

  What is the origin of the attempts to logon? This does not happen if I use "Computer management" to access user accounts.

  The preference of the account Expiration and locking of your workspace is disabled. Go in Home > Administration > Service Management > Set Workspace Preferences as an administrator of the workspace and change it in preferences of the Login control account.

  I blocked a user in oracle and trying to "Account is locked out" displaying messages of connection.

  But I am able user from other users query tables. How do I block it?

  I had blocked a user User1. When I logged in a user named USER2 and when I call SELECT * FROM USER1. Table_name, displays the data.

  I need to block this question from other USERS.

  Account lockout does not prevent others to get access on user objects. The only change is that the user won't be able to connect more.

  To block others access to objects of this scheme can be done by defining the privileges of law for other users, or with the vault of the database by creating a Kingdom

  around this blocked scheme (DV requires an additional license).

• Oracle ebs multiple simultaneous, locks, the user cannot connect to app.

  We known aircraft crash yesterday afternoon, Oracle EBS app users cannot connect in the app. We noted the very strong 70 to 90% charge in the Grid control and several blocks, a work of rman always running and a job of running stats. However looks after killing an app report dbms_scheduler job, we have solved the problem.

  But this morning, we see still cpu load on the grid of control operations and 70% all huge red and simultaneous locks.

  We have the latest version of apex 3.x here and being a proactive admin, I am eager to have a script I can run when people leave the organization which is literally each of their accounts by e-mail or user name no matter what workspace, it is in and then it zap (lock). I won't go workspace by workspace to do this because its a bit stupid and a waste of time. I know that I can connect to each workspace as an administrator of the workspace and do it but I thought that there must be an easier way to make only once for each workspace.

  Apex 3.2 is legacy now, so don't really expect you improvements to features in this version.

  However, this should not have been too difficult to achieve with PL/SQL that runs as SYSDBA.

  Code below is untested, and I have no Apex 3.2 where I can test it. But chances are it will work, or at least give you a starting point.

  10 PASSWORD_REUSE_MAX DEFAULT PASSWORD

  As you have password_reuse_max set to 10, you can't reuse the same password. You must give the new password to the user.
