"Expired" product ID

I recently tried to get live help with one problem of indexing (another issue altogether), but when I entered my product key, told me he "expired". I have passed to the Microsoft Genuine page and confirmed that my Windows is genuine (which I knew), but that has not changed anything. I bought a copy of student back September, maybe in October, then recently did a clean install on January 26. According to the Microsoft pages, if I had to re-activate after this installation, the option would be under computer-> properties and I have to do within 30 days (he was 9), but I don't have the option to "reactivate", only to change the product key. What exactly is happening here?

I have the same problem, and while this would make since for support of your ID has expired, if it was a RTM key, my key is a commercial version of Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. Well, it's the signature edition, they gave to the Launch Party hosts, but still...

There is nothing wrong with your Windows activation, or your product key or your product ID; what he wants to say (bad), it's thatfree support has expired for this product ID; in other words, this is X months since you activated Windows and you get only the free support for a period of (very) short. Only free support, you can get now is from here, the answers community - if you want to support MS, you have to pay for it.

All I wanted to do was report a bug I found in the Windows backup module. * sigh *.

  • Vmware Server 2 has expired, comments not working

    Hi people,

    I tested vmware these past two months to install it in the future to our customer base servers. I installed Vmware Server 2 in a Debian 4.0 to run Debian 4.0 guests, and my experience is good even a few crash problem cpu 2 (but this is another war...). I love the web administration and options are nice and soft.

    But, today, I have a problem and I feel scared to think what might happen if the server has been installed on client servers: I removed a snapshot and after he hung my VM 20 minutes I stop the server. Now, when I run the virtual machine, I get an expired product error (but I have vmware server 2-0?, see photo to fix on the foot message). I get an expired error if I create a new virtual machine too. At first, I suspected that the problem is a file locking or some accident of VM file, but I'm not sure, after I created the new virtual machine that does not work.

    Date and time are running OK, and I don't remember to change these last months. What should I do? I have losted information in my VM? These are the files in my server:

    You're missing what they say, I'll try to explain.

    RC = Release candidate. (pre-release)

    GA = general availability (final version)

    The product cycle is generally as follows:

    Beta 1: duration limited

    Beta 2: duration limited

    Beta N: limited time

    RC 1: limited time

    RC 2: limited time

    GA: without time constraints

    Beta have a time constraint on them to ensure that support doesn't get bogged down support request non-final code, it also protects the client to run in an unsupported configuration.

    The final product version is not limited in time. 122956 version is the 2nd release of the GA version. So no RC2, but GA2

    If I'm not wrong then, GA1 was version 116503

  • IWeb will work with OS 10.11?

    I tried to run my copy of iLife ' 08 iWeb (v. 2.0) to El Capitan on my Mac Pro and seem to have problems to use it from the beginning.  I suspect that it was designed for PowerPC and that it is not compatible with Intel.  Is this a known issue?

    Otherwise, I always have my 10.4.11 (Tiger) G4 running operating system and want to use iWeb to build a site on it.  I have looked around in the help of support here and see recommendations to spend more to update, the creators of commercially available (and expensive) sites, but other sources suggest iWeb is still used.  I built a site with it under Tiger, about 3 years ago, and it was fine (although now taken down).  Would like to know in advance, if possible if, after spending the time to build the site, I can actually put it online (my domain to my site Web Yolasite name change).  I am skilled enough with the Pages, I like working with iWeb for ease and similar flexibility.

    This is just a screenshot of what past when I open iWeb and chose the model of 'modern' framework - which is not at all what I expected (and I also had problems to enter content in the text boxes, problem with the color, which was negative, and that's all, when I leave!)

    iWeb 08 certainly do not work and yes that is why you have problems with it.  At least, most of the people updated their iWeb to use iWeb 09, which is version 3, however, you may be out of luck if you want to buy is not been sold or supported by Apple for the last 4 years or more and has not been updated for 6 years.

    The only way you can get iWed 09 is to look on Amazon and see if they have the old iLife 11 or iLife 09 converted (boxed) sets for sale that both contain iWed 09, however, I don't see that it's wise to spend money on an expired product somehow.

    At some point, you'll have to buy another software, because there will come a time where iWeb work not at all, as you have already discovered with iWeb 08.  There is nothing that you can do with iWeb 08 and you will have to go back to your old machine if you insist on using it.

    Unfortunately, you will find that all new software will be of a similar price and EverWeb are priced at £79 is in no way over the top.  Is an also smaller learning curve, because it is very similar to iWeb next, feeling and function.

    You can take a look at the Freeway Pro/Express - they sometimes offers that make it more affordable and I have to tell you that Freeway is more expensive than EverWeb - they had an offer on last year, where you could get Freeway Pro for £69.  Take a peek inside.

    There is also a flow 6 or 4 WebAccapella you can take a look at, but at some point, you'll have to bite the bullet and spend.

    Nothing you can do with iWeb 08 - go back to your original like that computer won't work with something else.

  • Service Windows Update is not running - but it should!

    For 20 days, as far as I can see in the Application and Services > Windows Update, Windows Update Client did not work.

    Whenever I try to start it manually, it argues that the service is not running. I'm not even sure that there should be a service called WindowsUpdate in services.msc, but in any case there isn't.

    That fixed it. He had been pretty with a FixIt, but I ran it. Is no evidence of any Virus.

  • (Word2007 and Acrobat Reader 9.3) software applications do not respond (show the codes of errors/etc) ONE of my user accounts (running Vista Home Premium 64); will work perfectly on all the other (total of 3) user accounts.

    Since both applications work correctly on some other user accounts except the account of a user that can occur if this user account is damaged.
    You will need to create a new user account and then transfer the file and the settings of the user account damaged to the new user account.

  • Creation of spec short Record

    Hi all

    Our portfolio currently has 2 records of entry. 1 POINT 2. PRICE. For each element in the ELEMENT file, there may be multiple records of price in the PRICE file. It may be a situation where a particular item does not any price all (items expired). We do LEFT JOIN between the ITEM and the PRICE.

    Now the problem is, we have created a file called "rec_spec" PRICE column and this acts as a record spec in our pipeline because it is unique in the PRICE file. But when we left join with records ARTICLE, for everything which has aura spec record prices and expiry of the elements will not record spec. This creates a huge amount of logs in the file dgidx.log as the warning for records that does not record spec. Our client wants to get rid of these messages to the log file. How can I go ahead with it? Is there a way in which short creates a unique record specification for all records after the left join? Help, please.

    Also, we can create a spec record only in the CHECKPOINT file after a left join with records of PRICE multiple records can contain same record spec and baseline_update will throw an error.

    Hey Sav,

    As you've identified, the RecSpec must be unique - and there are two ways you can go about this.

    #1-allow DGIDX to create automatically; If you do not specify a property to act as the RecSpec and provide him with all the values, then it will work similar to a standard database and create its own index.  Is not the preferred method, because it prevents from being able to perform partial updates - if you cannot re-create the key used, so how can update you the record?

    #2-create your own RecSpec, as you do now with the PRICE file in the pipeline.  As you've identified however, if you have an empty RecSpec or duplicate, an error is generated.

    It is a common problem with the scenario you have described, since when there isn't a game on the left of the join and results in a key blank.  I suggest to use a component of manipulator, as a manipulator of Record, as a result of the join to create the RecSpec. There is no need to use only a source on the ground, in effect when you use multiple data sets (such as products, how - to articles) recreate us our RecSpecs later.

    My suggestion would be to abandon a manipulator after the join with the following behavior:

    1. Retrieve a single value in the CHECKPOINT file, like Item_ID, Product_ID, etc., as the first part of the key.
    2. If a moment ago key in the PRICE file (showing that this isn't an expired product), add the extra key (rec_spec) from him on the identifier of the ITEM
    3. Optionally, you could add a '_EXPIRED' on the item ID if there is not a match with PRICE

    In this way each element will have a unique RecSpec, which could be recreated if necessary.

    I used a download from the Adobe site to do the installation. When I run the first it comes up with a box to enter the license key. I entered and tt shows just a red x to the right of the license key. If I click Next it says invalid key, contact technical support. They say it's an expired product and the use of the forum.

    Just sorted. I got I get into the loft and get the original installation discs to do a clean install. He accepts the license as part of the installation and work key. Assume that the download from the Adobe site is updated

    Vista has expired never recorded after the purchase of the live tiger gateway computer.  Reading forums sounds like I should erase vista (even if it was not installed or not kinesiologist?) something.

    Valid product keys do not expire.  If you have a valid installation and a Produt Key valid, you always can ativate Vista.  If you can not find the key but still have Vista installed you can get with Belarc Admisor machine to the: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html.

    To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.
