  RTC if the exporter Clip utility will do. If this isn't the case, you must do it manually. You don't have to wait to complete to start another. Define a default setting and you can run through 40 clips in about a minute. X to make a selection. Cmd - E for the export preset. Come in. Down arrow for the next clip. Repeat steps.

  You can export a single item in the project Panel and choose Clip range as your Source in and out, but you can't do this for multiple clips. • Simply export the clip that I'm on in the sequence

  Let's just make a change to an item in the sequence (an effect or other) and I want to limit my export just in this area.  When I say "clip" is not a clip I have in my project window - this is a clip that I've created breaks in the sequence.  So, of course, terribly I do scroll horizontally in both directions until I have have set the bar of workspace for the beginning and the end of my video but I really want to do is to be able to find a quick shortcut that would do exactly that - so as I can simply export this clip.  I think that this should be a common thing and so incredibly simple to do in the body but, uh... No. And of course I'm not finding a way to limit the export of just the clip in the Media Encoder...

  I can right-click on the workspace toolbar and the Clip of Mark but made a clip marked for me?  I'm sure that you see is not a way to export from there.  All I get is a selected area (shaded) on the indications of time above and by clicking right there not has even made a right click menu I get out on the workspace toolbar.

  Frankly, the weaknesses of the ease of use like this is what slowed body in the past (IMO) and the great features are nice, but Apple has always had a better intuition to make their software for use.  in any case, did not yell.

  Yes, you can copy/paste many clips at the same time, but you still add that the effects of each individual item.  This isn't like a layer of setting in After Effects, with an effect instance.  If you change any instance of this effect on a clip, you then need to change for all others.

  Now that I understand the goal here, the best way to go about it might be to copy/paste the clips in question to a new sequence.  (Or nest the original in a new sequence and trim to include only the desired clips).  This limits your export to the desired range and using the second method, in fact allows a single instance of the effect.

  If you have them all in a pan and the duration, drag all the files from the location in Media Encoder and a WAV or AIFF preset of your choice or creation. If you then select all in the SOUL, you can change the destination of the output file.

  There are two ways to do this:

  1. Open the file in multitrack, select the section you want and use export > multitrack mixer > the time selection.
  2. In waveform display, highlight the selection that you want to export and press F8. This will create a range of markers. There is now an option to export audio in the range markers, you must have the range selected and highlighted to do this.

  More complex software is frustrating until you understand how it works!

  I have about 100 + video files I want to cut into shorter clips, change a little and then export in a Final Cut friendly format (currently these are AVCHD mts files) to send it to my friend, who is putting the entire movie together.
  I don't want to use Final Cut for that (I can't, I have a windows machine) and I expect to work with the premier CC and media encoder CC.
  There is a way to put all the clips in a single sequence and nesting then each of them, then you can send them to the CC encoder and it will make them as separate files - it's simply not very productive, interweaving clips one by one and it takes forever to encode import sequences.

  I was wondering if there is a workflow better? I heard that Final Cut has shortcuts to do this very easily, you just click on all these clips in sequence and "batch export", which puts them in a certain place as separate, already cut files. ?

  Hi Nik,

  Place the clips in a sequence and trim if you wish. Select the clips in the timeline panel, and then drag them into a bin. In the bin, select all the clips and choose file > export > Media. Choose your export settings, then you can transcode the all in one go. If you have the FCP installed, you can use the ProRes codecs. You might consider ProRes 422 for this.

  If your question goes to the selective export of the content of the timeline, then this is your answer. It has two essential components.

  First Important... you set the gray tabs on the work area bar to expand on the segment of the timeline that you plan to export.

  To set the gray tabs... Move the timeline indicator to the beginning of the segment. Hold down the ALT of the computer

  main keyboard as you click the left bracket key [.. .then move the indicator in the timeline to the end of the segment.] Hold down the ALT key when you click on the right bracket key]

  Second Important... in the settings of export in Publish + share/computer /..., there must be an option for "Hand work area Bar only" next to which you place a check mark.

  When these two essential conditions are met, you should get your selected export.

  I have transcribed for a documentary film clips. There are many of them and my transcribers using a program that can use the timecode of audio and video files.

  We are Dropboxing so I want them to be just audio files, but I need the timecode to stay on the clips when I export the audio.

  The original videos are in. MTS format. They import in first CC very well, but when I export the audio the initial timecode disappeared.

  Well, rather than do without the video completely, just to reduce the flow of something terribly weak, where the video is barely able to be seen. You want to export to a format that the program can handle, like Quicktime. But where I could export to 25 Mb/s, you might be able to export 1 Mb/s. The video will look terrible. Well, so what? Who cares? Right?

  But there the timecode.

  When their web page says they can accept different audio formats, I don't think they hear audio by itself. They mean that the audio in the video stream may be audio AIFF, WAV, AAC and MP3.

  I'm trying to export a displacement of clips with alpha channel.

  I'm trying to export an animation with first CS5. I made an animation of a spinning object in Maya and exported in the form of TIFFs with alpha channel. Then they are edited with Photoshop to give them a drop shadow.

  My problem is the following. Can I export this animation of tiff with alpha channel?

  My plane is to use clips from moving in a background in a game - depending on the outcome, there are different animations playing on top of several different backgrounds. It to the objects must have a transparent alpha on the bottom channel.

  Again, the reason for this is the complexity of the game and make the game looking as real as possible. I hope help here to make my plan possible

  Hi all

  Yesterday everything worked fine... I could export Pre Pro and FLV files. Today when I try the same Pre Pro crashes. I can use again but not export (in the media...). When I close Pre Pro via the Task Manager start a couple of times, Pre Pro stops the opening and I have to restart the computer so that it opens.

  I tried to reload pre Pro CS4 (CS4 Web Premium already loaded) of the disc but the charging does not end?

  As most of you know it's frustrating and I would appreciate any advice...

  When something works one day, but not the other, then something has changed. The task is to find out what has changed.

  Sometimes it's something as an update OS killing a video or audio driver (very common) and sometimes it is the addition of a program, which has VST, including "the instrument" VST. Sometimes, simple hardware additions can kill things.

  Have you tried going to a System Restore Point previous, at the time where things worked well? It would be the first thing I would try.

  Next course of action would be to do a repair of the Adobe programs Installation, in which case a .dll file or another file, has been broken or damaged.

  There was also a fairly recent thread about a user, who tried a FLV export. That failed, and it seemed that the failure sprayed something in PrPro. Don't know what this poster ended up, but think that they do not solve the problem. You can search this forum for this thread. I'd look for similar keywords, as appear in your title. I think I have commented on this thread and think bad Millaard and Jeff Bellune would have, as well. If you have no luck with just keywords, maybe throw in people and choose Harm, Jeff and me. Wish I could remember this thread more clearly, but I think that there are some similarities.

  I try expost a clip from a longer movie in a separate avi file.  I know it's pretty simple, but I have read the help files and knowledge base and can't seem to make it work.

  If you the Clip has been modified to meet, you just need to action, which is exports. Choose the Preset DV - AVI and it's ready to go.

  If you have other Clips, you can adjust the WAB (work area bar) for just this Clip and do the same thing, check the export bar working area in the dialog box.
