  From what I have read and understand the .folio file is available on the process side server that will be recognized by the folio app Builder. Therefore, you cannot embed on a Web site.

• Link issues and export of the .folio file

  I have a .folio file created from InDesign CS6. I did good on the site Adobe Publishing Suite and download download on my iPad. Once downloaded the file works fine. If you exit out of the app or make a full stop down on the iPad the links only the first page do not work in two directions. Is there anyone who has an idea why this would happen?

  Also, is there a way to export the file to your desktop and place in your iPad without later editing Adobe?

  You have the Adobe Content Viewer update that was released on iTunes yesterday? We had a bug with hyperlinks in the simple editing applications and the content viewer Adobe when 27 release came out.

  My Mac and Timemachine HD simultaneously broke out on the eve of the exprected backup with Blu - ray drives (I know I am really out of luck ) and I lost the original inDesign files and structure of records of 10 questions of my magazine. I downloaded from the producer DPS Folio Organizer files .folio with the 'export' function and this way I back the original folios but the question is: if I need to change something, a url, a text, simple things, not the layout, it is possible somehow? something like the change of PDFs with Acrobat.   Who gave you the .folio file? You can't really do anything with it. Ask the person to the other folio with you so that you can copy items in your folio or send the source files.

  My project is to convert an Indesign 800 page in a DPS Folio catalog. I have 14 of the 26 items completed and received a message on my iPad say I was nearly out of space message previewing in Content Viewer. When I removed it the viewer content is a little more than 11 GB and when I watched the local resource on the hard drive it is 5.75 GB. Ugh. It is typical for the file in the viewer twice the size of the local file content? Which is a better indicator of what to expect for a finished project?

  It is really not possible to do. Keep in mind Adobe has devoted a team of engineers over the last three years to build the folio of the rendering of the DPS Viewer capabilities. Write one yourself to integrate into an existing application, it's only really only something a big company with their own market will do.

  If your application currently does that distribute magazines, it is best to spend to DPS and replacement of your existing application with a DPS one.

  I could be wrong, but in my research for this issue, I learned that there is no solution from Adobe to convert an F4V or a FLV. I talked to Adobe support directly and they told me to buy a 3rd party conversion program. I find absolutely stupid that the only way to embed a video in Animate using a FLV or F4V, and there is no codec to convert video in this format.
