Export, rendering and crashing issues

My problems with export and view the contents of Premier Pro got worse and worse over time. I can't restore or anything of substance, only small export files. I did in the past without problems. Is there a known problem with Windows 10 with the Prime Minister?

My system is Windows 10

HD SSD, different for reading and writing, all the source files in the same folder

8 cores; 32 GB of ram; 4 GB video card

CC all software up to date, updates to all systems applied

Here's the real problem, I have no problem with rendering in After Effects or Media encode, I just can't deal with anything of the substance off Premier Pro more. System simply stops, without warning, blue screen, the nada. System down!

Mov file processing 1080 x 720, 22 minutes? with modifications, the music, nothing too crazy > H264 or AVI - crash

This happens on H262; AVI; I played a bit with multiple options, clean files cache, preferences..., nothing seems to work BUT after effects.., which is NOT ideal for Assembly of several fields, but at least it didn't plant and then I was able to run through Media encoding for the file size and type I wanted... , but no Pro Prime Minister is going to be a challenge.

Any ideas why this is the case?

Thank you!!

Paul C

Well..., my problems didn't turn out to be if evil after all.., I've worked with Adobe and found that on my PC downstairs there is a known issue with my AMD Phenom processor, so I went down the Prime Minister at the 2014 CC and it works now where it would not start at all before. Turns out my main PC, Adobe brought a correction of preferences which fixed my problem of crash. Looking at my task manager, cpu starts at 90%.., slowly reaches 100%, remains pegged and stop my system..., without warning, without reboot, simply stops. My config memory has been set to 'performance' and Adobe States that will benefit from the cpu more RAM, so we went this config 'memory' commencing with cpu and then unload the work of RAM... and guard my cpu humming nicely. Manager tasks indicates 50% to a maximum of 80%. Export and rendering is a bit slower, but beats a system crash! -So, now everything works fine! Thank you Adobe!

  • Rendering and export failed with an unknown error because of the color of Lumetri?

I am rendering & export failures with an 'unknown error' code within Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.  I think that the problem is related to the Lumetri color filter that is widely used in all of the timeline.  There are hundreds of clips and each clip has 2-4 color filters Lumetri applied.  Each clip also has the red giant Cosmo and filter FilmConvert Pro 2.36.1 coming to overlap (visually underneath by order of effects filters Panel) all filters from Lumetri.  The reason why I believe that the problem is related to the Lumetri color filter is that it is the first time that I use.  Previously, I used the filter red giant Colorista III coloring, but last week decided to try using the Lumetri color for the same effect.

Please let me know if anyone has had similar experiences, what were their solutions, or if someone has some ideas on how to solve this problem.  I would really appreciate the help!

    System details:

    Windows Pro 64-bit 10

    Intel i7 5960 X 8-core 3.0GHz (cooled water and too quick to 4.2 GHz)

Matrix RAID 5 of 48 TB (eight 6 TB HDs with MegaRAID, LSI 9361-8i card) (for media)

    Information on the timeline:

1920 x 1080 (original video files are MP4 UHD scaled down by 50% in the timeline)

    23.976 fps

    CUDA Mercury Render Engine

    Length of the sequence: 14:30

I have discovered a workaround of sorts.  I noticed that when rendered in PP he would make progress before a failure (the green line that precedes the timeline would get a little longer).  If I saved this progress and rebooted the system, then tried to make it again, it would make a little further.  I've done this dozens of times for 4 hours make completely a 14:30 long sequence.

I noticed doing this routine that my CPU was maxxed on all rendered.  Resource monitor reported the use of CPU to 143% continuous (all other indicators RAM, disk speed, etc. were well under their maximums).  This brings me to suspect that maybe there is a problem with overheating of the CPU.  But who would be closed for the entire system, correct?

Once the entire sequence has been made (all the green lines above clips) I tried export by using the "Use preview files" option enabled.  Failure again.  I tried export uncompressed AVI, Quicktimes and PNG sequences.  All have failed.  I tried to export to PP as well as TEA.  The two have not.  I tried to export with option 'To make maximum quality' is enabled.  Surprisingly, this product the longest time encoding managed (32 minutes before failure).  As by chance, using the option of MRQ kept my CPU loads sawtoothing between 100% and 75%, then maybe there's something to the CPU overheating theory?

In an ultimate attempt desperate to save my video project (looming deadlines!) I divided the sequence of Assembly in five servings (I cut on the melted white or fade-to-black transitions) and exported to each of them.  This copy export times within 20 minutes.  It worked.

I noticed this another Adobe Forums thread that seems to speak of the similar difficulties with effects of Lumetri in Creative Cloud 2015.  Perhaps the Lumetri effects are not ready for prime time?

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1236018?start=0 & tstart = 0

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas on this.  In the meantime, I'll wind up this project and never use Lumetri effects again.

    Hello Kevin,

Thank you for offering help to solve this problem.

I was able to export the majority of the sequence with all the Lumetri effects, red giant and FilmConvert mixed in clips.  After the sequence using the tedious method described above I segmented the sequence in the quarterfinals; all exported except one.  I divided it into two; Another exported doesn't have.  I cut half too, once again only half exported without failure.  I finally reduced the embarrassing part until a second sequence clips 35; an interview with green screen with superimposed titles and superposition of b-roll clips.

I removed all the effects of the Lumetri of these clips and replaced by Red Giant Colorista III effects, which are very similar to the effect of Lumetri in the GUI and application.  The sequence made completely without "unknown error."  Then it was exported successfully (and used about 70% when compared to more CPU activity 110% with the Lumetri to export).

The difference would be that the effect of color of Lumetri has this YUV icon next to it in the effect controls panel?  Which means that YUV?

The problem is perhaps not totally related to the color of Lumetri effect (as I said, I was able to export the majority of the 14:30 sequences use, although gradually by segmentation of the sequence into smaller portions), but if the move is a solution then I'll use it.

I lost a day to fix this.  If this thread is useful to someone else, then it was worthwhile.

  • Subject: Speed video rendering and export in Adobe Premiere CC 2014

I did some research on this point - and I've read about the different ways to do it - but at the end of the day... my videos still take some time to export (10-minute video will take 30 to 40 minutes to export)

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro with a 2.5 Quad core i7 processor... 16 GB of ram and an AMD Radeon r9 M370x 2 GB video card.

Videos should be much faster with this alone, but they go to a slower speed. I know people who have similar videos, treatment within 4-5 minutes.

Now, the video is filmed in 1980 x 1080, I think... I would like to export to 1280 x 720... There is not much I can do...

I tried to lower the speed of transmission of about 1, which decreases the size of the spectacular video... and I've even limited to one pass.

I don't want to sacrifice the extreme video quality to win 2 minutes of processing time (down from 40 minutes to 38 minutes)

What can I do to speed up rendering and exporting in the sequence settings?

  • Difference between export, rendering, transcoding and encoding?

    Hello

I'm new to video editing and recording and I don't really know where to ask this question, but I thought that this forum would contain some people who could help us with that.

I don't really know where to start with this, but...

First of all, what is the difference between the export, rendering, transcoding and encoding in Premiere pro, After effects and in general?

What is Adobe media encoder for and how to use it?

I am trying to save images from pc using software called Action by Mirillis. He has the ability to record in Avi, Mp4 or MP4 (Nvidia Nvenc)

When I save Avi format, the film is more beautiful, but the files are larger whether Mp4 formats.

I have the possibility of exporting the Avi file using hardware acceleration for Nvidia Nvenc to Mp4. What this do outside to reduce its size?

I know that this question is probably better in the forums of the action, but people seem rather vague.

Could you help me understand all this / is there useful links?

    See you soon,.

    Ben

PS: I've only used Photoshop in the past, but now I want to make videos using first pro/after effects and I am quite naïve!

There are two parts to a video file. a container (also known as a wrapper) and a codec. Codec - Wikipedia

The word codec is a portmanteau of "decoder der -co" or, less commonly, "compressor -decompressor.

MP4 and avi are containers. they contain both audio and video files inside a single file, using codecs. the codecs are a form of compression, so a video or audio file can become a smaller size. You can consider this as winzip. like winzip, you must have a program that can compress and uncompress a .zip file. even with the codec, the software inside the multimedia players knows how to uncompress (unzip) the video file to read and play. programs that modify video or your recording software, will compress (zip) files when they write the file on the hard drive.

NVIDIA Nvenc hardware acceleration: it uses your video card to encode to mp4. the video card can do this very effectively and reduce the pressure put on the cpu. even though it may be fast, its often not of high quality. It is perhaps one of the reasons for the avi is more beautiful. their website says that he uses the h264/mp4 and FICV (video Compression Intra Fast - Mirillis codecs), I guess for the avi. Looks like it's a codec, they did and use their software, so I'm not sure how it works.

a project video/file when finished editing or other manipulations, must get out of this program so that it can be used. The export, its actually a new file. to export to a file, it must render and encode the original video file. rendering is to apply changes or effects to the video. so for the new file be played in a media player program or dvd, etc, please encode to h.264 codec.

transcode is another term used for coding. If you have a mp4 file on your hard drive and convert it into mpeg2, using software like adobe media encoder, its called transcoding. It is decoding and encoding, but the word transcoding is used when only the codec is changed because it is a new file.

    Comparison of the photo:

BMP, jpg, tiff, etc. are the codec.

save an image modified in a new (not .psd) file: export

application of the changes to the image in Photoshop: make

When the program to save as bmp or jpg or other: encode

convert without changing, bmp to jpg or other: transcode

  • 9.2 iOS apps causing lag and crash

Since I updated my iPad 2 for iOS 9.2 apps lag and was crushed, I noticed on my iPhone 6 more as well, but not as bad (probably because the phone is more powerful).  My iPad 2 now can handle running an app for about 5-10 minutes before the shift sets in and eventually blocks the application, this happens with any application, including parameters, etc..  It is a new installation of iOS 9.2.  I did not refresh app in the background running, I turn reduce movement and disable any spotlight search items and anything that can monopolize the active memory.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to matter and now my iPad 2 is practically useless to use.  I've never had this problem with previous versions of iOS so I can reload the iOS 8.4.

I was wondering if anyone else knows the offset of the app and crashes in iOS 9?

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.
If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.
Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.
Try changing / using web browser third another, different.
I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.
I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.
This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.
In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".
You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

What is your system brand and model?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

The symptom often means that your system is of a malicious software.

With this particular symptom of hanging on isapnp.sys in Mode safe is to search for a driver of zero-byte length file in the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder.

Of course, you have to boot the system on something in order to access the hard drive to find the suspicious file and get rid of it.

If you have any installation CD bootable XP real where you start in the XP Recovery Console, or you are not sure what type of bootable CD, you have,
make a CD of bootable XP Recovery Console or Hiren Boot CD and don't forget.

There is no XP media needed to make a Hiren Boot CD or a bootable XP Recovery Console.  You can access the folder and check if
There is this action suspect file and take.

Once you're booted to the CD of your choice, navigate to the following folder (assuming that XP is installed on your C volume):

    c:\Windows\System32\Drivers

Looking for a file that ends with an extension .sys and zero bytes in length.  The file can also have a curious name because she may have been generated at random.

If you are in the XP Recovery Console, issue the following command in the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder:

    dir *.sys

Files Scrolls one screen at a time.  Look at the list of files with .sys extensions and their lengths.  You don't need to
worry about directories...  If you see a file with a .sys extension which is zero byte, it is suspect.

If you use just the Mini XP Mode a Hiren boot CD (which works as Office XP), navigate to the folder of the my
Computer desktop icon and locates the suspect files.

You really want to remove the suspicious file once you get running and you run some scans for malware, but if you are
not sure what is the suspicious file or if it might be necessary, just rename the suspicious file for now, in case you are not sure.

For example, if you find zigxrtml.sys folder had a length of zero byte, rename it:

    Rename zigxrtml.sys zigxrtml.bad

Renaming or removing the suspicious file to get the system running is not resolved the problem.  It is the symptom of the problem.

The problem is your system is infected by malicious software and you should always follow up with a few scans to remove infections.

Once your system is running, followed with MBAM and SAS to be sure that the affliction has really been removed.

Reduce the risk of malware by running some scans.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

It can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans by operating clean, restart, test your task manager and we can repair any other pending issues.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • First Pro CC gives an error "Could not create image buffer" and crashing after installing a videocard GeForce GTX 1070.

    Hi all

I recently installed a GeForce GTX 1070 video card and drivers current in my bench mounted, very happy for the potential break in the rendering and playback (I was using previously a very old ASUS Radeon HD 7850). I had nothing else problems since.

When I first tried a project of creation of opening, audio refused to play (speakers, headphones, everything...) I looked at the volume mixer while playing through the timeline and no audio only showed upward). Everything seemed fine. I closed, cleared the cache, opened the first, this time hold Alt while doing so to reset the preferences. Open very well, audio read back fine, that only now first was blocked indefinitely the generation of PEK files for a short audio clip in the project.

After a long bit of troubleshooting in the speakers, I went ahead and did a complete uninstall of Premiere Pro and After Effects, then reinstalled both programs to their current versions (2015.4 and 2015.3, respectively). No more problems of generation PEK, but something much worse. Now, whenever I try to change the CUDA acceleration enabled, I can maybe five minutes absolute performance first until I get an error "Could not create image buffer", warning of notifications of Windows that your computer is low on memory, and finally, a complete crash where the screen goes black, flickers a couple times, then stays black for good with only the mouse cursor appears on the screen.

The images that I'm editing is all images Go Pro, no effects applied. I am doing this for a client and need ready in a week, but the constant crashing makes them difficult to work around. I can more or less run by changing the acceleration of software only, display options but it is much slower and the memory is still eaten up like crazy (if I place the open Task Manager and start to scrub through the timeline I can watch the memory usage get up to 95% in 20 seconds approximately). Reading suffers as a result once the RAM is full until almost full.

    Technical specifications

First Pro CC 2015.4 (latest version)

OS: Windows 10 Pro (Version 1511)

    CPU: Intel Core i7 - 5820 K CPU @ 3.30 GHz

    RAM: 16 GB

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 (latest drivers)

SSD (OS and Adobe Suite installed): SanDisk SSD internal 240 GB 2.5 inch SDSSDA - 240 G - G25

Hard drive (where I put my multimedia files): WD Black 2 TB Performance Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 inch, SATA 6 Gb/s, 7200 RPM, 64MB Cache

    Motherboard: ASRock X 99 Extreme4 LGA 2011-3 ATX Intel

Film source - source footage is an hour of video of Go Pro, all arranged on the timeline, no effect applied (I'm just trying change the original film in a short video).

    Type: MPEG Movie (.mp4)

    Image size: 3840 x 2160

    Frame rate: 29.97

    Format of the pixels: 1.0

It is worth noting that, with my old dusty Radeon GPU, I was able to edit these clips with ease. No reading, no problem of image buffer. I do not see my RAM never go above 60% usage, when I got this card is installed.

Also worth noting, that the first, I have noticed absolutely no problems, and the video card itself seems to work very well. I can play MGSV at max settings with perfect reading, as well as other graphics intensive games.

    Any help?

It's been almost a week and I had zero problems. First Pro CC 2015.2 works like a dream! I'll go ahead and mark this thread closed.

For those just tuning, I was able to find a solution by uninstalling the Premiere Pro and After Effects, and then reinstall them back to last known stable on my bench (Premiere Pro 2015.2 and after 2015.2 effects). So far, running these versions has been very good, even with active CUDA acceleration.

The only downside is that all the projects I've done in Premiere Pro version 2015.4 should be re-edited from scratch. But I've had absolutely zero problems using the program, which is a relief. Hope Adobe fixes this problem whenever 2015.5 is out!

Sometimes, the program will generate the message "a serious error has occurred" and stop. Other times, the program just locks himself. I'm not under all programs except by email.

    Here is what I tried:

    Cleared all my cache files

The value of my reading of mercury 'software only '.

After doing the above, restarted the program and the computer.

Don't made sure I had no RGB curves effect (as I saw it was a question of other threads)

    Remove all unused images

Delete all files rendering and a new rendering.

I'm editing of images requiring a Ultra key. I use a Three-Way color corrector. My video is not even 1 minute long, so I think it would be easy return and reading.

Here's what I'm trying (I know I need an upgrade - hoped after this client project):

    MacBook Pro 2008

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Memory 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB

    Software  OS X 10.9.3

Help! This is seriously slowing my workflow and my project is due tomorrow. Any advice would be appreciated.
