Export slide show to DVD format?

I have a full slide show some images of 96 with music in the background. How do I export it to the DVD format to play on a standard DVD player? I'm on OS 10.11.1 and Photos Version 1.2 (340.4.0)

Thank you

CB

You need a tool like iDVD or Toast to convert the sequence exported in DVD video and encode the disk for use in a DVD authoring DVD player. There are other DVD authoring tools, but offhand, I don't know their name.

Ago no direct to DVD option for slideshows from Lightroom. You can export a movie file, and then use another program (Premiere Pro, for example) to burn the file on a DVD.

While Lightroom has the ability to burn CD and DVD data discs, it is very different that generate a video DVD that can be accessed in a standard DVD player.

  • Export slide show hangs up.

I have had this problem before, thought I had it cured, but he did it again. Add at the end of a slide show, I always have this slide.

    Z end slide.jpg

Slideshow, hangs up on export coding the framework for this image, or the last of them in front of her. Before when I had this problem, I had always stored as jpeg and coppied just in the image folder to include in the slide show. Thinking that it must be a file that is damaged in some way, even if it opens well in CS5, I created a new image and stored in tiff format. I would then open in CS5 and "Save as" a new jpeg in the image folder. Now, no matter what I do, sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes he hangs up. LR 4.1 it is there. No error message. Just did not finish the final framework. Very frustrating to wait an hour or more so that he can create a slideshow, and it hangs to the last image. I'm on a Vista Home Premium machine.

Well, I came up with a viable alternative to this if anyone needs. If I use an image at the end, that is created by 'Fill' with black, it will quite often hang up in image coding. But if I create black background by doing this with levels, it will work every time. There at least for about two weeks, without a shot upward. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

  • My 12 items first tells me that I need Premiere Elements to put a slide show on dvd.

I recently acquired 12 items and first of 12 elements.  I made a slide show in the Organizer menu and follow the instructions in the manual on how to proceed to get the slideshow on a dvd.  I have a drop down list of first telling me I need for Premiere Elements for the task, and I want to get a DVD or try a free trial.  If I wasn't so frustrated and crazy I think it was funny.  Can someone explain what is the problem?

    Thank you

    Hello amira,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unfortunately, there is no option.

However, you can manually try it by stopping AutoPlay and select the item in the menu.

    Hey Hey,

Did you check mark the option Zoom to full frame under slideshow Options.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Export slide show from Photoshop elements 10 problem

I created a sliodeshow with about 150 photos, each about 4 MB. The slides include pan & zoom, transitions and music. I tried to save the file under. WMV (movie) file and everything went well. Within an hour, the 99% achieved progress bar, then the fixed progress bar. No error message appears and the program seems to operate normally. I waited 6 hours to complete, but no result.

Then I tried the same settings, but with only 2 pictures and no music. I got the same results. Any advice available? Thank you.

Computer: HP ProBook 4520 s laptop

    Operating system: WIn7 32B

    RAM: 4 GB

INtel processor dual core i3 2 GHz

    HARD DISK: 300 GB

Free space on C: approximately 30 GB

Problem solved. The program is entered in a loop, because the last passage has been activated. To avoid these problems, choose as a last transition 'None '. Simple as such

No need to resize the pictures.

  • I cannot produce a "DVD with titles", 4 slide shows.

I selected slideshows and begun the process in DVD to post-secondary studies. I found that the PSE will only accept slide shows in 1 group and will not let me add slideshows later (not support and/or codec missing). Some slides get turned to 90 deg when put in PSE and a photo is not accepted, even if it is in jpg format, which are all other photos. Unclear why this should be.

Initially tried to combine slideshows with vidoe project (of which the aide said guide is possibel), but to find any which way I started (slide show or video) format added is considered bundles. Can't see why there is a problem.

Do you mean the Premiere Elements? You can not any kind of DVD video in PSE, only the horrible VCD format. PRE has its own forum, which is here:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/community/premiere_elements

and you will get the best answers to questions PRE it. Good luck!

  • 5.2 Lightroom slide show "Export Video" more exposed

Hello, using Lightroom Slideshow (current version) 5.2, I can export PDF and Jpeg slide show versions that seem good.  When I add music and video export slide show exposure increases of 1.5 to 2.  Help!

I went to 'Preferences', 'Presets', 'store presets with this catalogue"(checked)

    Thank you

Video on SMugMug seems fine on my Windows 7 system using IE9 and FireFox 24, so it appears there is nothing wrong with the video of LR. Check the control panel of your graphics card. I use a Nvidia graphics card - just right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select Control Panel Nvidia configuration, or what Panel graphics card you have.

Try to set the section "Video" from your panel back to "Restore default settings", or do it manually. In addition, there are a known issue with the Nvidia drivers causing black levels to the washed out look. If you are using a Nvidia card follow the parameters shown in the screenshot below and set the 'Dynamic Range' to 'Full (0-255)' and NOT "Limited (16-235)." Make sure that the video Panel section Conrol Gamma and color settings are at their default settings.

If still the problem download the latest driver from the site Web of Nvidia or AMD, and install it. If still having the issue provide your OS version, model of graphics card and the version of the graphics driver.

The color fades color you're looking for is last in Lightroom 4.  It was abolished in LR 5 and beyond.  Adobe needs to update their help page to delete this paragraph.

  • Is it possible to add a description for each slide in the slide show as a slide to separate before each photo?

  • CS4: Disorder export file for Corel DVD Moviefactory

I just finished a project in Adobe Premiere CS4... I had been exporting in format Microsoft AVI NTSC widescreen (the project is in 16:9) and had burned the DVD with Windows DVD maker, which came out pretty good, but now I need to create a DVD with set chapter marks (which you can't do with DVD creation).  I ran into several problems trying to export in Moviefactory...

    (1) Microsoft's AVI files are not formatted to fullscreen.  There are bars on the sides even if it is a file of 16:9 and the project is 16:9.  I suspect it's a question that I have to go to a forum of Corel for, but I thought I would ask here too...

    (2) if export to MPEG-2 DVD format, it puts the video correctly, but the file itself contains no audio data, no matter what audio I export... There is no audio on the file itself so the problem is there before I bring it to Corel.

First far THAT MPEG-2 was the only file can export Moviefactory that formats the video properly, but I can't seem to export with the sound... not sure that it is.

To make a single MULTIPLEX file, you must select that in the output... options option you use is designed to create the file (s) to recall, what works better with separate video & MPEG Audio files

    • Adding text to images in a slide show of Photos also appear on a burned cd/dvd?

If you export the slideshow as a video, using the button export, text slide should show in the video. Check the video rendering and play only once, before your burn it.  Sometimes, the background music will be missing.

  • Pls help: using Windows DVD (& Vista Home Premium) - can I burn more than a 'slide show' on a single DVD disc?

I use DVD Maker (& Vista Home Premium).  Can I burn more than one slideshow on a single DVD disc?

I saved 3 different 'projects', each has 10-15 images.
When I use the screen 'Add items' to try and add these 3 different projects on my DVD I wind up just with a great slide show, which has 30-40 pictures in.
What I want on this DVD is a separate slide show for each of the 3 projects.
So can I implement a Menu of this DVD, which allows me to choose which of the 3 projects (slide shows) that I want to watch?
Can I do this?  If so, how?
    Thank you!!!

    ==========================================
    It's a matter of time.

Save each project in the. Film WMV format. Then you can import
the three films in DVD Maker files and each of them will be a chapter...
This way, you will have a menu.

Once the DVD-video is encoded you cannot add additional files
    the DVD.

If you need information on how to save... validate your version of Movie Maker.
