  I am brand new with Pro CC first. I completed a sequence where V1 has a series of still images, of small size, so I can see the video clip on the V2 in the background.

  I already exported only and it works very well.

  I would now like to export the clip on V1 by single with alpha channel so that I could put a different background in a new sequence.

  Read and followed the instructions as described in the forum, but they must use something different than what I use (first Pro CC on a laptop with windows 7 Professional), because I do not see the indicated settings.

  Once the clip is exported with an Alpha channel, I'll bring Premier Pro and everything just change the background several times so I will gradually in with several different sequences.

  How could I accomplish this export with an Alpha channel?

  Hi Bert,.

  I think you have your tracks reversed, the stills would be on background on V1 and V2. Of course, if a SINGLE export with alpha and no background, then you can simply use V1 (but later, we clip you made must be V2 or higher to insert background on a bottom rail to show areas of the alpha channel). Export using QuickTime > GoPro 12-bit with Alpha codec.

My problems begin to occur when I try to download on Twitter as my profile picture. I tried downloading from my office directly on the site via google chrome. When I download the image then begins to have jagged edges and overlooks the tablets. So I thought it was some performance settings, then I tweaked them and restarted a couple of times and still the same result. He would go on my desk but when uploaded to twitter as my profile picture is horrible. So I tried emailing the image of myself and the download through my phone. I opened the image on my iphone and it seemed fine as he did on my desktop but when I downloaded the image it makes then look blurry. I had this problem when downloading photos Twitter via my iphone, so it doesn't surprise me. I have read different forums saying: you must download it from the office, so I thought it would work like this. This could be a problem of twitter than compresses uploaded photos?   If I open a file with an alpha channel .psd and resize it via the size of the Image to a smaller version and then save it again, the alpha channel is no longer detected in the new .psd file. I tried to delete the alpha channel and recreate but it just seems not recognized as having the alpha transparency when I open it in other software (for example, an excerpt on OS X). Can someone test this (Note: I'm using CS5) and tell me if they you encounter the same problem?   Ah Ah! I solved it.

  I forgot that if the sum of the image layer contains even a tiny part of the transparency, it will use for transparency rather than the alpha channel information. In this case, due to resizing the background layer must have a transparent pixel slightly somewhere on the edge. Fill the entire layer of bg correctly done.

  Let's go to this subject in a different way. You use words and we use words and I don't think they mean the same thing for you as they do for us. This is the number of pixels available and I have a feeling that you are looking to create more pixels for what you would call a higher resolution. Stick with me for a while and I think I can clarify this.

  You have a video from a DVD. You brought it in Premiere Pro. Let's assume for the moment that this is a standard definition DVD, so you either imported in 720 X 480 or you imported in 640 X 480. You did not, so these numbers may be wrong. But we will use 640 X 480 for example because it uses square pixels and therefore easier to do the math.

  Export the 640 X 480 image by clicking on the button to export the image (small camera), then open this file in Photoshop. Under Image / Image size, you'll see a window that looks like this:

  

  Someone to video, the important part of the image window is the pixel Dimensions. We don't care anything else. The resolution of 72 pixels per inch is incidental to us.

  However, if I wanted to print the image, things get interesting. As you can see in the window, if I print at 72 pixels per inch, I get an image located at more than 8 X 6 inches. The problem is that nobody prints at 72 dpi. We print at 300 dpi or more.

  So what happens. Instead of a nice printed in large print, we get something much smaller as shown below.

  

  Basically, we get a big stamp.

  What you may be asking, however, is how to get an image of 640 X 480 pixels, expanded to a size that would print this image, using 300 ppi, to size 8 X 6. The word for that is not exactly resolution. Not for us. The word that is upscale. Make it bigger. More pixels. Pull pixels out of the thin air and assign them to the scene in the picture.

  The answer to your question is probably quite simple. No, you can't get better resolution, unless you it upscale in Premiere Pro, and it is not the right program for the task.

  It upscale in Photoshop. Or buy an app party designed for high-end frame grab something you can print to a decent size.

  This post was obsolete when it was written. Use the built-in support of BLOB.

  Resizing of the declarative BLOB images in reports is simple using CSS. Add a style sheet with:

  where the value of the PHOTO in the attribute selector is the ID of the image column table header. Define only a single dimension (in this case the width) will scale the image with the correct proportions. (Background, padding and border properties are just eye candy...)

  However, the scaling of the images in the browser in this way is a huge waste of bandwidth and product of lower quality images than to create good scaled down versions using image tools. Image download megapixel and then to reduce them to the size of the thumbnail result in needlessly pushing millions of bytes which will never be seen.

  For better performance and image quality, and where you need specific image scaling of the best approach is to use the ORDImage database object to produce thumbnail and preview automatically versions. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Oracle XE as multimedia is not included :-(.

  You can do this with a single command.  Run your export as usual and add the query parameters for 4 tables you want all the lines:

  expdp... query = schema1.table1: "where rownum = 0" query = schema2.table2: 'where rownum = 0'...

  It is best to place the query parameters in a parameter file if you don't have to worry about escaping special characters of the OS.

  I'm on PS1 11R1 and it works for me. I think you're on R1 - it is likely that R1 might have a bug that crept in PS1 (although I'm not able to locate any such bug in PS1) or there may be a corruption in your environment. My suggestion is upgraded to PS1.
