  Hello. Out of nowhere my videos stopped playing in Windows Media Player and I get sound. Most show a static of a frame of my video picture, while others display the icon by default windows media player. In both cases the sound plays normally but no mobile video!
  All videos play perfectly (both video and audio) in Windows Media Center, however I prefer to have them play in the drive by default as they did. I did some research online and tried a few things, but nothing worked and I'm hesitant to download codecs that can be harmful.  Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

  When I put the first clip in a new audio sequence works fine but when I put the subsequent clips the video appears but no audio. It was not doint that when I used it the other day. I if this may be something wrong with the video files so I tried to use other clips I had just worked with the other day without problem and now they are doing the same. I really need to fix this quickly because I'm doing a video which is due in class tomorrow. If anyone has experienced anything like this or knows how to fix it please let me know. Thank you.

  I prefer to create and store multiple files "subset", as a sequenced/updated mpeg files up-to-date

  (with "mt2" extensions, if stored in 1920 x 1080 for Bluray).

  In this way, I can import and edit a small number of files, when I'm ready for the final compilation and engraving.

  On some occasions, I wish I could export the video only with no audio.

  First Elements 11 Windows 7 (64 bit supposed to)

  Go to publish + share/computer and, if necessary, click the Advanced button on the selected preset. In the field of export Setings for the preset customization, you should see a place to check or uncheck for video and Audio export to export. Set accordingingly.

  Try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.

  First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Flash Player Uninstaller.

  Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

  Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

  Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the Flash component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

  I could be wrong, but in my research for this issue, I learned that there is no solution from Adobe to convert an F4V or a FLV. I talked to Adobe support directly and they told me to buy a 3rd party conversion program. I find absolutely stupid that the only way to embed a video in Animate using a FLV or F4V, and there is no codec to convert video in this format.

  my other post had not been, so I'm writing again.  2 days ago, I bought a new laptop. 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB HD, pentium dual core T4400 processor.  I installed PE7 cleanly, no problem.  However, I can not all videos to show. I imported videos .avi so far and they seem to import, but they only play sound.   First of all, it depends on where the AVI and what codec it uses. (You can easily see the codec to open it is an AVI in Windows Media Player and then go to file/properties). Video from cameras, for example, uses MJPEG-reviews, which are not compatible with Premiere Elements.

  The ideal format for work in Premiere Elements is DV - AVI (MPEG, not). We have a number of conversion programs listed in the FAQ section to the right of this forum. If you can tell us what codec your AVI, we can direct you to the right converter.

• Export-rough on only a specific part of the video

  I exported the video of this project before, to H.264 1080 p 24 frames per second and it worked perfectly fine. I used the same exact settings to export this section small 1 minute, and with the video from the same source as before, still now export is jerky as hell. What could possibly happen?

  You can also make a new project and import old project in this new.

  YouTube is generally serving Firefox users the HTML5 player now instead of Flash player. You can check that one you get by right clicking on the drive and runs the inspection of the line at the bottom of the context menu. As patches are probably completely different for both players, it would be useful to know the problem.

  I just bought a receiver AV HDMI especially wth for movies in avi or mkv with DTS or Dolby digital with my A200, but I can't seem to get the DTS or DD sound via HDMI, stereo only. Receiver AV should display the symbol DTS or DD if the source has, but I can't make it work. I don't get that audio stereo via HDMI, but not DTS or DD.

  Can anyone help? Please note that I already have the HDMI as default playback device.

  What you can try is to check the support of encoded formats.
  Start > Control Panel > Sound > reading > if no digital signal is peripheral (HDMI) listed click on it with the right button of the mouse and choose the option properties. Go to the Supported Formats tab and verify the encoded Formats it.

  I think that by default, all formats must be activated.
