Expose a human task as a web service, is posible?
Hi everyone, is there a way to expose a human task as a web service by using BPM Studio or otherwise?
Hi, Carlos
Human task in itself have a meaning no plays no role. Its the process or subprocess where this human is used is what is important. And you can expose any BPM process as a Web service. Infact, by default, it's already a Web service, if watch you closely. We can build a Web service for any process BPM client.
So I'm not clear on what you are asking exactly by exposing a human task as Web Service which I think is NOT possible. This human task. TASK file have nothing with the exception of its definition.
Thank you
Ravi Jegga

Native web services in Oracle 11 g
Y at - there no official explanation on how to configure and create native web services to Oracle 11 g and how to properly secure these services? Since Oracle APEX now supports web services use SOAP and REST, it makes sense to have more explanation on creating and securing web services. As know many PL/SQL programmers, it isn't always an easy task to develop web services in jDeveloper to work with databases - with all of these technologies to Add on as jPublisher/Toplink to get the job of things. It is not easy to get the 'How to' guide on creating and securing of the native web services in Oracle 11 g.
Thank you.
AndyHello.
If you are still looking for this answer, you can try this.

Process, exposed as a web service does not work when it is deployed
Hi all
I have exposed a process as a web service (Web Service process) and you can call this from a Java Application locally. However, when I have that deploy the BPM server, I get an error. Y at - it a configuration change that I need to do when I deploy it on the server. I had used localhost for the webservice and also created a new server configuration and that associated with the process web service.

Thanks in advance.Hello
Know how to feel. I have trouble sometimes get this working too.
Finally, I created a small document that reminds me how to expose things like a web service for all the various versions you might encounter for WS PAPI, WAPI, etc.. :
For 10g and Studio 6.0:
-http://{MachineName}:9000/albpmServices/{Projectname}/ws/{Processname}ServiceListener?wsdlFor 10g and Enterprise using WebLogic 6.0 go to:
http://{MachineName}:7001/albpmServices/{engine-name}/WSFor Studio 5.7, enter the URL:
-http://{MachineName}:{WorkspacePortNumber}/workspace/webservices/ProcessService? WSDL5.7 Enterprise, enter the URL:
-http://{MachineName}:{WorkspacePortNumber}/portal/webservices/ProcessService? WSDLFor Studio 5.5, enter the URL:
-http://{MachineName}:{WorkspacePortNumber}/{projectname}/webservices/ProcessService? WSDLHope this helps,

Expose the service as a Web service proxy using the sb Protocol
Hello world.
My team and I worked on a project of integration between multiple applications. So we created all the OSB projects necessary to connect applications and now I'm working on a web application that reads several newspapers who leave these integrations in the database in order to watch what happens when they are executed. Right now, I need my web application to be able to reprocess or retry messages that present a problem or are in an error state.
To this end, we have developed a proxy with a sb protocol that allow us to communicate with other services dynamic proxy just in him passing the name of the proxy, its functioning and the message of the body. And finally, here's my question for you guys.
How do I expose this last proxy (with the sb Protocol) as a web service so I can consume it for action to reprocess/try again?
Thank you.
Don't think that you need a Proxy service with SB Protocol at all. As I understand it, your process will be like this:
1 web app bed DB logs to see what documents need to be submitted again
2. web App must call OSB to resubmit the log message to correct the proxy.
What you can do is create a WSDL based proxy HTTP to OSB for a new presentation, Web application must call this proxy and passes the body, the name of the target (full path) service, target service type HTTP (Proxy or Business), target the operation name (optional, like e-mail or type XML services everything will not associated with surgery). You can add a dynamic routing node in the HTTP proxy that calls the proxy target based on information coming from the Web App.
SB Protocol should be used in a Proxy service if you want to call a Proxy deployed in a single domain of OSB on another area of OSB or composites Oracle SOA. Here, the consumer will be the Web application, so it needs to be a HTTP proxy and not SB.
P.S.: You should also consider sending transport/custom headers as well, not only the body for your new design be more reusable.

How to expose a function that returns a XML as a Web Service?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production
PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production
"CORE 11.2.0.3.0 Production."
AMT for 64-bit Windows: Version 11.2.0.3.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.3.0 - Production
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reviewing the documentation of oracle on the generation of xml data in the database, I managed to select normal tables and return a result xml exactly as I want:
That gets me this:-- My types create or replace TYPE CHILD_T AS OBJECT ("@ID" VARCHAR2(20), "@NAME" VARCHAR2(20)); create or replace TYPE CHILDREN_T AS TABLE OF CHILD_T; create or replace TYPE PARENT_T AS OBJECT ("@ID" VARCHAR2(20), CHILDREN CHILDREN_T ); -- The actual select SELECT XMLFOREST ( PARENT_T(d.id, CAST ( MULTISET (SELECT c.id, c.name FROM child c WHERE c.parent_id = p.id) AS CHILDREN_T ) ) AS "Parent" ) FROM parent p;
It's perfect, but how to expose this result as a Web Service like this link?<Parent ID="1"> <CHILDREN> <CHILD_T ID="1" NAME="xxxxx" /> <CHILD_T ID="2" NAME="yyyyy" /> <CHILD_T ID="3" NAME="zzzzz" /> </CHILDREN> </Parent>
I tried this function:http://localhost:8080/orawsv/MY_USER/GET_CHILDREN?wsdl
But when I access although .NET Compact Framework, I get this: "'Element' is an invalid XmlNodeType.FUNCTION GET_CHILDREN ( PARENT_ID IN VARCHAR2 ) RETURN CLOB AS L_RESULT CLOB; BEGIN SELECT to_clob(XMLFOREST ( PARENT_T (p.id, CAST ( MULTISET (SELECT c.id, c.name FROM child c WHERE c.parentId = p.id) AS CHILDREN_T ) ) AS "ParentObj" )) AS MY_XML INTO L_RESULT FROM parent p WHERE p.i = PARENT_ID; RETURN (L_RESULT); END GET_CHILDREN;
As you can see, I just need a simple way to transport information between a Windows CE handheld computer and our database. Use functions that return simple values.
Do I have to return the data as xml?
What return value I should use? Varchar2 throws a buffer error output.
---------
It is my first post here, also my first contact with OracleDB, and Web Services.Hello
Welcome to Oracle and XML DB!
After reviewing the documentation of oracle on the generation of xml data in the database, I managed to select normal tables and return a result xml exactly as I want:
Have you also read about the SQL/XML functions?
You don't have to create objects of type SQL to generate XML data.Using only XMLElement, XMLAgg, XMLAttributes, etc., you should be able to generate any kind of structure complex relational data and with total control over the names (which you don't have with the types of objects).
Your example can be rewritten to:SELECT XMLElement("Parent", XMLAttributes(p.id as "Id") , XMLElement("Children", ( SELECT XMLAgg( XMLElement("Child", XMLAttributes( c.id as "Id" , c.name as "Name" ) ) ) FROM child c WHERE c.parent_id = p.id ) ) ) FROM parent p WHERE p.id = :parent_id ;
It's perfect, but how to expose this result as a Web Service like this link?
[...]
Do I have to return the data as xml?Yes.
Define the return as XMLType data type:FUNCTION GET_CHILDREN ( PARENT_ID IN VARCHAR2 ) RETURN XMLTYPE AS L_RESULT XMLTYPE; BEGIN SELECT XMLElement("Parent", XMLAttributes(p.id as "Id") , XMLElement("Children", ( SELECT XMLAgg( XMLElement("Child", XMLAttributes( c.id as "Id" , c.name as "Name" ) ) ) FROM child c WHERE c.parent_id = p.id ) ) ) INTO L_RESULT FROM parent p WHERE p.id = PARENT_ID ; RETURN (L_RESULT); END GET_CHILDREN;

Hello everyone!
I used JAXWS to create WSDL from a file of Jehovah's witnesses.

< / project >Hi Kuldeep,
The clientgen task generates just the artifacts (helper classes for the Client program) it never generates the real client program. We have to write our own Client program using the objects generated by the Clientgen tool.
You need to write a client means as program... "clientpkg. MyFirstServiceClient".. then you can run it... You can refer to http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/webservices/ (if you use WLS9.x or higher)
For WebLogic 8.x... .and that you deploy your webservice in WebLogic Server... .you will find the Client Code snippet in your application test page in AdminConsole... you can use this snippet of code in your program.
Thank you

ColdFusion scheduled task for HTML files with javascript ajax call to the web service
I have a regular html file, which are generated dynamically (on access to it) for a few seconds (about 7 to 10 seconds) as tables, lines that are added through javascript after having treatment and this process takes about 7-10 seconds of said.
Using settimeout(), after 15 seconds (to ensure that the content has been correctly filled), I use a web service (.cfc with function with intrusion via cfmail tag inside) through the ajax javascript call, which captures all the html content of the page and sends it to marked e-mail ID - which, during normal operations, works very well - which page is accessible in the browser web and left pending for desired time of 15-20 seconds.
However, the same page when I programmed in CF admin (even with the time-out of 60 seconds), it never fires the e-mail part.
Can I have some advice, where I am doing wrong!
Hi, I mean the scheduled activity could be accomplished using CF native heavyweight instead of light and fast javascript codes codes. Not a big problem anyway.

Question 11.1.1.7 BPM JDev human task Auto layout or display generation
It's strange. I've seen such a question to the oracle forum that has not yet responded. I have this problem only with JDev 11.1.1.7 and not with JDev 11.1.1.5. It is a brand new facility. I have eliminated all other facilities. Including the windows registry. This has (pcbpel_bundle.zip) SOA and bpm (bpm_bundle.zip). However, I have 12 separate installed c.
The problem causes a taskDetail.jspx from a human task results in the layout box style based framework. Am not ADF person but it is necessary to show my BPM user task.
Help, please. Details on the number below:

I am able to solve this problem. After a series of R & D, I have found that the cause is % APPDATA%\jdeveloper. Remove the appropriate directory will solve this problem. In fact, I tried to remove the directory integer jdeveloper under %APPDATA%\protector.exe and the generation of form jdev 11.1.1.7 problem solved. Those who find the question of the "referential integrity" can follow this approach.

To access the data in pages ADF (.jspx) Web Service

expire in getting web services to the application code
"Following the instructions to get the claim code of ' to 'Add' my p1606dn to my eprint account, when I select the web services tab and click 'ACTIVATE' for my configuration report, I get the message"connection time, internet connection Check ".
My laptop xp3 is connected wireless and network printer I am 'Add' to East cable.
I suspect that being connected to the built-in web server printer lie my wireless connection to internet and results in the time-out period.
Do I have to hard wire the two devices? (Not an easy task, here)
Best regards, Billl39
The fixed!
All we needed was an update of 20120814 to 20130703.
I change the printer to a static IP 10.0.0.40 (out of range dhcp)
Gateway was of course, the router IP - 10.0.0.1 and
Primary DNS returned to 10.0.0.1 with
Secondary to 8.8.8.8 from Google
and all is well
A Note, however, when updating the firmware, the utility has shown the original 10.0.0.16
dhcp had taken, and I had to reconfigure to this address to get a success
firmware update, after which I returned to the 40 statice.
Silent IP addresses are the result of my duty to replace my Netgear router after
a bolt of lightning with a Westell 7500 that change addresses.
I'm glad it's on... billl39

Catch the event Web Service Session Timeout
Hi all
I have a LV Web Service communicate to a web client (Chrome, IE, FF, etc.). The user connects to the server and create a new session for him to help create Session VI. One of the entrances to this function is a timeout value (default 60000ms). The sessions behavior is such that if the user does not activate an application for web service (GET/POST/PUT/etc) within the time limit, then the session is automatically destroyed by the web service. That's what I want, it's fantastic.
My question is How can I detect when the session timeout happens? Another way to say, How can I detect when the user session is automatically destroyed?
What I tried:
- Of course, I can provide a "logout" link to the user calling ultimately "Destroy Session" VI, but I can't count on the user actually click this link (e.g. you really explicitly sign out of gmail or simply close your web browser?)
- I thought that the only way to proceed would be to save the cookie of session ID returned by create Session VI and then query this ID to see if the session still exists (check if Session exists VI). If the session does not exist, well, I know it has expired or the user manually destroyed it. However, even if I save the cookie ID, I don't see where I can actually use it any where (especially not check if Session is VI). It just seems no value given to the range of sessions.
Is this possible?
Thank you
Rory
Sorry, Thomas, but that isn't going to work. Think about it - you do not request a web service during the time-out period. You get ONLY a web service request when the client actually asked something. The customer does not have during a timeout; It's just times out... so, there is no node on the block diagram to check because there is no block diagram... get it?
No worries, however, I found the solution [read: workaround], even if the LV can do it (from 2013sp1).
The best way to detect if a user session times out / out times would be for LV to this exhibit as an event in the web service. The following approach would be for LV accepts a cookie as an entry ID and then provides information on this session (i.e. the session exists). I have a smell of two feature requests...
But because BT cannot do these things (or not exposed to the developer), you will need to get creative on the client side. Since I'm on Javascript/jQuery/AJAX on my front end, then it is possible for me to detect when the customer leaves the page or close the browser. It comes to $(window) .unload () in jQuery. Then, I can take this event and an asynchronous AJAX command of fire to one of my web service VI that will eventually call the "destroy Session" VI.
For more information see the site here:
http://lavag.org/topic/18490-catch-session-timeout-events-in-LV-Web-service/
Hope this helps someone.

WCF web service synchronization problem
I created a WCF web service is hosted on IIS. It does the job of recovery of an oracle database file path, locate the same on the server and extractions is content using ftp. The method exposed by the service as a contract returns data in bytes. But it takes more than five minutes to complete the whole process, when I call the web service from a windows application, acting as a client. Good person to want to help me out of this.

Interoperability with web services
Hello
I created a Web service in .NET, which must be called from another Web (Server BEA) service as a Notify operation. I get a SOAP exception and I pointed out that the server (BEA) is able to connect to my web service (.NET), but the "Notify" method within my Web service is not triggered. [basically, I need to create a WS that will be called by the WS server on the success of a task]. I tried to compare the WSDL from the server and the one that is generated by .NET on my side, and they do not match.
for example the server was

Thank you
