• Load audio files in Mainstage 3 sampler

  Is it possible to load files in without Logic Pro EXS24 sampler? I have not (logical) but I can't figure out how to get the sound files to play on the sampler. I will create new areas and load an existing file is however will not play. Something I noticed is that I should be able to drag and drop a file in the editor, but it does not allow me to do. I just need to get the logic? Or is it possible to load files that I don't know?

  It seems like you did right. To make sure, that the basic functionality working, please try this:

  Create a channel with an EX. Strip

  Press the change in the UI EXES to open the instrument Editor.

  The Editor opens with an empty sampler instrument.

  Drag an audio file in the editor.

  Now, press a key to play the audio file.

  Can you confirm that it does not work?

  I want to be able to autotune sound to make a melody instead of an instrument. Every tutorial I searched for telling me how to autotune with a T-Pain kind of effect, is there a different way, I should word it? I'm relatively new to logic and I don't know if it is even possible with this software. If not, what software can?

  You should look into creating a sampler instrument using plugin in Logic EXS24 sampler.

  Start with a software instrument track, add a plugin of EXS sampler Instrument in the slot of the "Instrument". Then click on the button 'Edit' on the EXS sampler interface. From there, you can create the required keyboard areas and assign relevant examples (drag n drop them starting from the finder) to each a key sample, or simply repeating on a lot of keys (as in the example you linked to).

  Once you have done so, you will be able to play your midi keyboard sounds, or program notes with your mouse... If you like that sort of thing...

• downloaded drum kits

  Good so I downloaded a few drum kits that I would use. However, I can't make it appear in my library. Any ideas?

  At this point, I tried looking for tutorials on YouTube. The first person I saw told me to change the instrument plug-in for EXS24 (Sampler) and then using the control panel for this instrument, click the button Edit and continue to drag - move my files from my drum kits. However there is no edit button on my control under this plug in instrument panel. The second video, I saw told me to use the plug-in Ultrabeat, switch to drag and drop, then assign sounds to each key. However, when I do this, none of my sounds work. It shows that the sound waves as it is supposed to, but the keys are not good.

• Instruments of the sample of user-specific does not see EXS24

  Logic Pro X 10.2.0 EXS24 sees the Instruments of the sample in my folder/library specific to the user, but only those in the global folder/library.

  But Logic Pro 9.1.8 EXS24 can see both.

  Background:

  I had my mid-2010 27 "iMac running OS X 10.8.5 and Logic Pro 9.1.8 (as well as Logic Studio 7) I upgraded to El Capitan without incident. I bought and installed Logic Pro X on the App Store without incident.

  The menu of Logic Pro X EXS24 instruments shows that the Instruments that are in the global folder:

  Instruments of Macintosh/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler

  The menu Logic Pro 9 EXS24 instrument shows the Instruments that are in both aggregate AND user-specific folders.

  The menu instrument show the structure of:

  Instruments of Macintosh/Users/me/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler

  It adds an entry listed as 'Factory' under which it places the Instruments found in:

  Macintosh/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler instruments.

  If I load a project in Logic Pro 9 that uses some of the Instruments found in the user-specific directory in Logic Pro X, Logic Pro X reports errors that he cannot find the instruments and gives no possibility to 'find' and opens the project with a bunch of sounds of the sinusoid default loaded instead of the missing instruments.

  You can see two directories with the Global Directory on the specific to the user on the right and the left in my attachments.

  I have also attached a picture of the EXS24 Instrument Menu in Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X.

  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  2 check out this thread. I had a similar problem and solved, answered my own question.

  X - Exs24 folder 'instruments' lacks logic

  3 re-indexing loops Apple Loops * should * help to find the folder. Here is some info on this:

  Logic Pro X index no loops.

  4. you can also try simply to drag the folder (in your Finder) and a session logical X. This * should * the entire folder to the index for you.

  5. you can always move the folders in your ~/Library (user) indexing question in your corresponding library/library/library indexing (root) folder.

• Libraries of different ESX24 samples?

  Please can someone explain why I find different versions of the libraries of the ESX24 samples in Logic Pro X? Let me give you an example: if I create a new track of software and go to Orchestral-> Strings, I see this in the library:

  Are these different samples? And stored in different places?

  Hi Broadskins, when you click on left of the channel strip settings (placed above the area of the EQ) that you look at the PATCHES of library, not the sounds of ESX24. (your first photo attached)

  When you click on left the ESX24 (or any that you instrument can be loaded) you look at its sounds from library or its own presets. (your second photo attached)

  Don't forget the small BLUE arrow on the left of the boxes is that you said that you look in the

  Library on the left.

  Have you already tried to install all the available sounds? One AST 10 GarageBAnd updates was supposed to have added Chinese Instruments: try ' GarageBand > solid library > download all the available sounds.

  

• Specific sampling rate?

  So maybe this is a stupid question, but I need to know because I train for a specific sound. Is there a way [to logic] to shoot/change of a certain frequency sampling rates. I can imitate the sound I'm looking for with a low pass filter, reverb and a distortion. But I don't want to 'emulate', this sound, I want to create. Then I can put my own effects and play with it like I want to. If I have to use a bunch of effects to make it sound like I want that also the addition of said effects remove the sound and sound horrible. as to where pulling the sampling frequency of the high frequency and no downs will make me THE noise that I need and always allow to add nice effects to make MY sound instead of someone else. I hope you know what I mean. Let me to you specific real once more. I want to pull or carry a certain frequency sampling rates for a sound under water. I don't want to use filters to make the sound. So can you please help me. I invited everyone locally on how to do it and nothing works. Also if this is not possible in the logic of tell me if there are third party plug ins or maybe even a different DAW that could do like komplete Kontrol or audacity.

• Amazon MP3 samples do not play

  When you try to play an MP3 "sample" on Amazon.com I get the Amazon "error". When I go to the site Amazon.com which has an album and try to read a sample I get the "not available" message from Amazon I called Amazon and deleted all my cookies restarted my router and still nothing. Either by the way, I can play MP3 samples with Google Chrome. Any help out there? Thank you.

  I had the same problem. I use the https 'everywhere' add on. Disable for Amazon sites fixed this problem for me.

• How can I download a sample of a pre-ordered iBook?

  Hello world. I pre-ordered an iBook a few weeks back. I recently heard say that the book (Bobby BONES: I'm not alone if you are reading this) now contains a sample 30 pages to download before the book comes out on May 17.

  When I went to the iBooks store on my iPad 2 (with all the latest software), I searched the book and tried the button 'download sample '. He wasn't there - all that it was me that I pre-ordered the book. The book was also in my library book shelf, but clicking on it took me to the page of the book in the store.

  Download these pages somehow, even if I pre-ordered the book? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Looks like you had to cancel the pre-order so that the "sample" button, it doesn't look like it will show it is pre-ordered.

• I can't listen to samples of Amazon MP3 (m3u) without responding to a command prompt, to open with the software or save. I just he plays on the Amazon page.

  This used to work in Firefox, but it isn't now. I don't want to open a separate audio such as Amazon web sites and other sound and music sites. I want to click the icon to listen to a sample and then just hear him play. I will add that on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, play music, it works perfectly, but I prefer to use Firefox as my main browser. • Unable to hear sound during playback of music Web site Sampler

  I am unable to hear any sound when trying to listen to samples of music on Amazon (for example) and also to other sites. I activated the firewall to all players of the internet, which is launch and start playing, but there is no sound.

  The volume is definitely on the speakers and I tried Windows Media Player and it plays radio and other music on my pc perfectly well. So I'm not sure about why I don't hear samples of music from websites now (I did in the past).

• Patches Mainstage sample for the keys to the North

  Hey guys. I have several amazing patches in Mainstage I'd like to have on my North Electro 5. Therefore, I should sample this patches (almost pads or synths) to create a *.wav which can be imported in my Sampleeditor (example of Publisher of North). I could taste in Logic Pro, but how can I sample sounds that "play" in Mainstage? Is it possible to sample in the logic that I play in Mainstage on the same Mac and if so how?
