• Win7 and nVidia 6150SE 430 motherboard

  Are they really compatible? When I run video games like Civ 3 or 4 the processor starts to run high and the fan runs at full speed as the machine is about to take off ;-). The games can be run in full screen mode and even with a window frame and the animation set as low as possible, the set of parameters 'Global' or low nVidia, I still I have this problem.

  I downloaded updates (280) recommended driver from nVidia for compatibility and problems with the windows leaving 'trail' when they were displaced the other. This seems to be a question of resources.

  Yes, Windows 7 and Nvidia 6150SE/430 chipset are compatible. Probably you are in need of a discrete graphics card to offload processing card video system. If your system has slot PCIe x 16, almost any PCIe x 16 graphics card should work your power suplly provided is large enough to power the new card.

  You don't mention what HP/Compaq computer, you have, so we can only speculate about the extension and power connectors that has your computer. Please provide your number of HP/Compaq exact model or product number for more specific help with your question.

• Error HP4620

  I have an OfficeJet HP4620.  The unit is two years old.  After the unithas been turned on for about an hour and 15 minutes I get error "turn the power off, t.

  I have:

  1.) updated the firmware.

  2.) connected the printer to a socket without other devices or of extensions or power strips, etc.

  3.) re-installed the software and drivers.

  4.) disconnected the usb cable and connect only via the wireless.

  5.) I have reset the sleep timer from 15 minutes to 5 minutes and 10 minutes, thinking it was a faukty sleep mode setting.

  The issue seems to be with the wireless connectivity.   I can use all the features EXCEPT wirless.  I turned the wireless, connected the printer through usb only and everything works perfectly without stop error.  Can I connect the printer to my desktop and share through the office like a printer network without a hiccup.  BUT this does not allow me to print from my phone or tablet.

  Is there a work around?  Is there a recall on the wireless card?  [comment edited by moderator]

  Looks like you have put a lot of effort in the effort of troubleshooting so far. one thing I can think of that might help is to only option enable IPv4, which could help. On the front panel of the printer, go to and select settings or configuration menu, then go to network and look for Advanced Configuration. In the advanced configuration, go to and select IP Version and choose IPv4 only.

  I've been using this computer for about 6 months, I assembled myself and install windows xp on it... I used windows xp 32-bit for about 2 months, since using xp, I'd never disconnections or any other type of questions... but when I passed to windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, then all started to happen... I get the Bosd randomly (once in 10 days, sometimes after a week) every time with diffrenet error... I reinstalled my windows and installed all the drivers updated from the manufacturer's website... but no luck... Disconnections can happen any time anywhere... last week after using pc all day, I decided to stop, I clicked normally shutdown (stop) and windows was going to stop it all of a sudden, he showed a Bosd... its been almost 4 months I get disconnections after all 10 to 15 days...
  I have memory of test with 9 assists run, I have cpu stress tested, checked two hard disk with diagnostic tools. All results are OK...
  A few weeks earlier, I saw 3 disk errors in Event Viewer indicating the device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block. but since then these mistakes never appeared again...

  There is something more that I would like to share, there are 6 USB 2.0 Ports Ports and 2 USB 3.0 on MB.   I have a Dimension E520 with a Windows Vista Home Premium & a 250 GB HARD drive. I just added a Seagate Barracuda 7200 1 TB drive.

  When I added the disk there are 2 connections. 1 is the power connection, 2 is the SATA connection. I have an extension for power from the current HARD disk to the new, but I obviously need a SATA cable. Which one should I buy?

  Once I have that & connect the HARD drive what are my next steps?

  In my Inspiron 5578 keyboard backlight turns on automatically after than every restart and I have to manually turn off using F10 key is it possible to disable this feature or what is normal? I tried to disable the brightness of the keyboard in windows mobility parameter, but there is no option to keep the light off permanently.

When I connect a new one for the network and power, airport utility sees the two airports and asks me if I want to extend the existing one. I clicked on extend and every thing seems to be well - within the parameters, he said that the new airport will extend the existing wireless network. Unfortunately this seemed to cause my modem to lose its connection to the Internet.   Firefox creates temporary files related to places.sqlite and those should be renamed / remove as well. Check places.sqlite - shm and places.sqlite - wal and if you find them, rename them as well.

  When you start Firefox back up again, he should start a new database places.sqlite and import your last backup automatic bookmark. Can you confirm that all your bookmarks are present? The address bar works normally again?
