  I use Windows 7 HomePremium and have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500.  Regularly, sometimes daily, the printer disappears from devices and printers.  Only the printer devices disappears.  The fax device is still there.  I have to completely reinstall the printer from scratch.  Windows 7 is pre-installed - this isn't an upgrade of Windows 7.  The event viewer shows that the default printer is passed to the OfficeJet to MS one Note (I have MS Office 2010 installed, but this is also a problem with MS Office 2007).  At this point, the device for the OfficeJet disappeared from the list of devices and printers.  The loss of the unit of the printer seems to happen randomly.  I hope someone can help.  I've seen other assignments of the loss of a printer, but I found no solution.

  I suggest you run the scrubber to the HP website driver and check if there are conflicts in the drivers. The link to the raccoon driver is:

• Border drive Adobe disappear and unable to choose

  Hello

  I currently have problems with adobe reader as its border would disappear at random (see attached photo). When he disappears, I can't select residents or access the menu bar. This disappearance occurs when I try to move the adobe reader window or resize (full scren). However, the border would go back again when I reduce the taskbar and blow it up on the desktop.

  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck.

  Without warning, and having not installed, all my gadgets sidebar disappeared!  I can't add them either!  All I get when trying to give me a little i in a circle in the upper left corner of the area where the gadget should be and the x to close the it and the part of gadget drag icon!

  MrFixit fails to solve the problem; Scans of SFC report no errors and Microsoft support is useless and unwilling to help!

  Without apparent reason, all printers suddenly disappeared.  I tried to add a printer and received the error that the print spooler is not started.  I tried to start print spooler and 1068 receipts that dependencies are not started.  After the forum, I tried the following:

  Checked the registry and RPCSS is the only data bound for the spooler service.  Deleted and retyped it anyway. Verified that there are no documents waiting to print.

  Sorry, it has not helped.  If you have not saved all data to be retained, I urge you to do as soon as POSSIBLE because something is badly corrupted in your system; and you don't know how long it'll be before things get worse.  You may need to restore your computer to factory settings, so make sure that you are willing to do.

  Here are a few things you can check. Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

  My Mac is a day also (15 "Macbook Pro / Yosemite) and it crashed several times already, so I'm assuming that there is a hardware failure or (more likely?) a problem with the software of third-party manufacturer.

  Try it once with steps below.

• 42 FF - Extensions disappear for about: addons

  I have a few extensions you installed, after a while using Explorer, I go to Modules-> extensions, and it appears:
  You do not have of this type installed addons.

  The thing is, all my addons and extensions still work OK!

  So I go in "get addons" and search the addons that are already installed and works well, I click on install, the extension installs, even if it is already running OK in the browser, and I can see the icon and everything! Then I restarted the browser and voila: I'll take a prompt at startup for 'Install module', for all the extensions that have been previously installed, almost like all the extensions have been lost, are now and being installed!

  I can recreate a new profile using the Profile Manager and start from scratch every time, and yet, I always lose my extensions after awhile.
  I created a new profile at least 4 times. I don't have FF SYNC enabled BTW.

  It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

  Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
  • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
