Extract data to XML Format?

Hello world

Is this possible in 11.1.2 to extract HFM in XML data (including topic Details).

Thank you
Robb Salzmann

Hi Robb,

I fear for the data you will be limited to a custom code or potentially ODI in conjunction with the XML driver. A small review of the XML driver might not be obvious that she would support the entry of data in an XML format - apparently not written bear installation XML schema.

If you write custom code, you can look at Apache Xerces to: http://xerces.apache.org/

Someone else?

Kind regards

    in Chile, the decimal point are ', 'no'.', the xml data table is OK for us

    You do not understand.

    Regardless of the locale, numeric values limited by a type of data XS: Decimal must use a point in a correct XML representation, otherwise, the document is not valid by the XSD.

    (3) TO_CHAR (...) the code is part of a procedure

    Again, do NOT build a dynamic path like that.

    Why not just move through the records returned by the query (if you need close at all)?

  • extract data from xml file

    Hi all
    what it means:

    Select xxx xmltype(transaction_document).extract('//PerAllVacanciesEORow/xxx/text()').getStringVal)
    of hr_api_transactions
    where transaction_ref_table = 'PER_ALL_VACANCIES. '
    and transaction_ref_id = 4608;
    I think it gives only the value of the numeric type to a string format

    Please explain each step in detail

    Hello

    xmltype(transaction_document)

    Which converts the TRANSACTION_DOCUMENT (probably from the CLOB data type) in an XMLType data type column.

    .extract('//PerAllVacanciesEORow/xxx/text()')

    The part retrieves all text nodes containing elements 'xxx', whose parent is an element of 'PerAllVacanciesEORow '.
    Note that if the XPath "//PerAllVacanciesEORow/xxx" corresponds to multiple nodes, then text() values will be concatenated.

    .getStringVal()

    Converts the XMLType return VARCHAR2 data type.

    If you have a problem with the result, post an example of XML, the output data wanted him.
    Please also give your version of the database.

  • Dynamically written data in XML format?

    I need to persist the application data in a xml in the format below

    But when I use the code below, I get the format below. He keeps creating a new root node.

    Here is the code I wrote using QDomDocument

    const int indent = 4;
    QString x = tx-> text(); is the name of the employee
    QString appFolder(QDir::currentPath());)
    QString file = appFolder + ' / app/native/assets/data.xml ';
    QFile file (fileName);
    leader. Open (QIODevice::ReadWrite);
    QByteArray xmlData (file.readAll ());
    Doc QDomDocument;
    doc.setContent (xmlData);
    Root QDomElement = doc.documentElement ();
    If (root.isNull ()) {}
    root = doc.createElement (QString ("root"));
    }
    QDomElement tag = doc.createElement (QString ("employee"));
    tag.setAttribute ("name", x);
    root.appendChild (tag);

    QTextStream flow;
    stream.setDevice (&file);)
    doc. Save (stream, indent);
    leader. Close();
    }

    Please, help me to solve this problem.
    Before starting with QDomElement, HE also worked on QXmlStreamWriter but failed to get the required format.

    Solved the problem

    const int indent = 4;
    QString x = tx-> text();
    QString appFolder(QDir::currentPath());)
    QString file = appFolder + ' / app/native/assets/data.xml ';

    QFile file (fileName);
    leader. Open (QIODevice::ReadWrite);

    QByteArray xmlData (file.readAll ());
    Doc QDomDocument;
    doc.setContent (xmlData);

    Root QDomElement = doc.documentElement ();

    If (root.nodeName () .isEmpty ()) {}
    root = doc.createElement (QString ("root"));
    doc.appendChild (root);
    }

    QDomElement tag = doc.createElement (QString ("employee"));
    tag.setAttribute ("name", x);
    root.appendChild (tag);

    leader. Resize (0);
    QTextStream flow;
    stream.setDevice (&file);)
    doc. Save (stream, indent);

    leader. Close();

    Kind regards

    How now?

    Please a little help

    I tried to instead of but of no use

    The new element in the root is 'InvoiceTransmission', so replace 'Lines' with it.
    In addition, there is now a default namespace, you must declare it as well:

    SELECT x1.InvoiceNumber
         , x1.InvoiceDate
         , x1.InvoiceType

  • Help to extract data from XML

    Hello

    We ask a web service via PL/SQL. The XML that is returned seems to have ' & amp; ' Lt; "instead of < and '& amp; GT; "instead of >.

    If someone could explain it, I'd be happy.

    Short answer: bug.

    Oracle 9i is known to have bugs about the handling of XML, especially when using namespaces. Also note that 9i was not yet fully compliant W3C.
    You have circumvented the problem by using a shaft going down in the XPath expression, so without going through the selection of the root node labelled by a space.

  • XML format for the export of result set by the user

    Hello

    I would like to export my entire test sequence results in a new XML file. The format of the XML file is given and fixed.

    My first attempt was to create a LabView VI to export data in XML format.

    I read that there is no way to set the format with the standard version of LabView. But I have a suspicion that there is an upgrade so I can set the XML format by myself.

    Does anyone know what update I need?

    Or did someone knows how to export XML in a different way?

    Thanks for your help!

    You're right that the current implementation does not do.

    You have two options:

    1. create your own plugin that analyzes your resultlist and generates the XML file

    2. create something late MainSequence which analyses the resultlist and generates the XML file

    It depends on the scope of your project.  If there is one thing to type 1 and then option 2 would be easier.  If it's something, you use through multiple tests and then I'd go with Option 1.

    In both cases, you must go to analyze thorugh the results list and generate code for XML.  I recommend keeping the algorithm in TestStand to browse the resultlist.  It is much easier and simpler.  Simply create a sous-suite that does and pass the list of results.

    Kind regards

  • Export in XML format

    Version: 4.2.5.00.08

    Hello

    A colleague came to me because he has a classic report that displays the data in XML format created by a function of the atmosphere. Need download data in XML format to use in another application.

    The download link in the report attributes is set to YES, and when the report is downloaded the XML tags are removed.

    I know that the report template in the page layout and Pagination in report attributes can be set to "export: xml", but it removes the XML tags he has on data and replaces it with the APEX XML tags.

    I tried to change the display as attributes, but the XML tags are always removed once downloaded.

    So, can anyone help with how to get the report now download XML tags?

    Can what information I provide?

    Thank you

    Joe

    If this is not something trivial as have broadband active HTML while we'd probably need everything: source report, all report and settings of the region, function source in pipeline, DDL for dependent objects, sample output etc.

    Is a report showing raw XML data on screen one any real use? Another option would be to drop the report completely and expose the result of the function in pipeline for download through an application process on.

    I like to write PLSQL code that will receive these data with XML tags and insert it into the Oracle Table. Is this possible with built-in XML features provided in the Oracle database?

    Please Guide...

    Kind regards
    Priyanka

    But the problem is the file XML is to have the details of the records if you carefully observed the XML file. But by using more high statement select I get output in the following format.
    ORG_ID REQ_LINE PO_NUMBER EXPECTED_REC_QTY USER_NAME REQ_NUMBER
    204204 1444714450 11 64446445 11 OPERATIONSOPERATIONS

    The table has only one row, so you get a single row as output.
    I'm surprised that you find useful examples showing how to divide the data into several lines.

    (1) create the table with the following option, it will optimize the performance of storage and query for large XML documents:

    CREATE TABLE xxios_xml_data_test(xml_data XMLTYPE)
    XMLTYPE COLUMN xml_data STORE AS SECUREFILE BINARY XML
    ;

    (2) interview table with:

    SQL> select x.*
      2  from xxios_xml_data_test t
      3     , xmltable(
      4         '/Results/Row'
      5         passing t.xml_data
      6         columns ORG_ID           number       path 'ORG_ID'
      7               , REQ_NUMBER       number       path 'REQ_NUMBER'
      8               , REQ_LINE         number       path 'REQ_LINE'
      9               , PO_NUMBER        number       path 'PO_NUMBER'
     10               , EXPECTED_REC_QTY number       path 'EXPECTED_REC_QTY'
     11               , USER_NAME        varchar2(30) path 'USER_NAME'
     12       ) x
     13  ;

        ORG_ID REQ_NUMBER   REQ_LINE  PO_NUMBER EXPECTED_REC_QTY USER_NAME
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------------- ------------------------------
           204      14447          1       6444                1 OPERATIONS
           204      14450          1       6445                1 OPERATIONS

  • How to get a date to the timestamp of a file XML format

    Hello

    I'm trying to get a date from an external XML file. My XML file looks like this:

    <>http://www.NI.com/LVData">
        8.6.1

            Date of birth
            31/03/1983

    I can get the system to retrieve the correct XML element that shows the nested and elements , but I have no way to retrieve correctly the date. It seems as if she interprets my date seconds since 1904. I try to keep the "readable" for the end user XML, so it is important to keep this date in standard U.S. date format. I eventually uses this date to calculate the age of something. I labour code to subtract a timestamp in the format of the date to the current date and time, but I can't access it when I get back from XML.

    Starting from XML schema, it looks like the timestamp element requires a cluster... but there is no documentation on what to spend. Any ideas how to get back an XML date in this format in a simple and clean?

    Here's my current VI:

    Thank you

    Quick Tip on "bundle by name.  You don't need to consolidate all these constants where the values correspond to what is the constant of cluster at the top.  The cluster constant defines the data structure and the starting values.  Simply group the values for specific change items.

    Example of tone would be a bit cleaner.  Although the format string should use a capital T.

    As always with dealing with the time, complications could arise due to dealing with time zones and leap years.  Zones shouldn't matter for the calculation of the years since you are rounded up to years.  Although you probably want to round down rather than round at most closely. (I forgot this part in my example).  The problem with leap years when you would be only in a certain number of days of the anniversary, he would round up the age.  The number of rounded days would depend on how much on leap days that nobody has seen in their lifetime.

  • Problem of extracting data from the XLIFF XML file

    Hi again,

    AS3 CS6 Flash Pro

    I have the XML loaded from a Flash panel language translation file strings in an XML variable. Works very well. Traces out - shown below.

    When I try to extract the data as XML < trans-unit >, I get an 1120: access of undefined property unit.

    function completeHandler(event:LoaderEvent):void {
        var stuff:XMLLoader = LoaderMax.getLoader(arrayXMLFiles[0]);
       var moreStuff:XML = LoaderMax.getContent(arrayXMLFiles[0]);
       ssDebug.trace(moreStuff); // this works with output shown below
       ssDebug.trace(moreStuff.xliff.file.body.trans-unit); // - error here
    }

    The Trace is here:

    <xliff version="1.0" lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace">
      <file datatype="plaintext" original="CardJam.fla" source-language="EN">
        <header/>
        <body>
          <trans-unit id="001" resname="IDS_ZXP7_JAM_01">
            <source>If, while you are printing, your printer stops, ...</source>
          </trans-unit>
          <trans-unit id="002" resname="IDS_ZXP7_JAM_02">
            <source>look at the Operator Control Panel (OCP) for the fault description.</source>
          </trans-unit>
          <trans-unit id="003" resname="IDS_ZXP7_JAM_03">
            <source>If the fault is a card jam, open and close the Print Cover (or Options Cover).</source>
          </trans-unit>
          <trans-unit id="004" resname="IDS_ZXP7_JAM_04">
            <source>The printer will initialize and move the jammed card to the Reject Bin.</source>
          </trans-unit>
          <trans-unit id="005" resname="IDS_ZXP7_JAM_TITLE">
            <source>Card Jam</source>
          </trans-unit>
        </body>
      </file>
    </xliff>

    I found a code by looking at a similar problem - I do not know how to retrieve other data (as I guess) the rest of the HTML in the code. I need to find a better reference with details and examples.

    I fixed it by changing:

    ssDebug.trace(moreStuff.xliff.file.body.trans-unit); -error

    TO:

    ssDebug.trace (moreStuff.file.body ['trans-unit']); -no error

    with results expected (no error):

    If, while you are printing, your printer stops...

    get to the control panel (OCP) operator for the error description.

    If the fault is a card jam, open and close the Print cover (or cover the Options).

    The printer will initialize and move the card stuck in the compartment to reject.

    Card jam
