Hello team ERP FPT

It is easy in the mapping tab you will get target DataStore you have created the mapping select just the first mapping and you will get a property inspector on low side in this mapping of properties are set, and then you're here to change the "Execute on."

• Extract metadata check constraint using the JDBC driver

Hello

How to extract metadata check constraint using the JDBC driver?

I know that by using the package dbms_metadata is possible, but the results of the get_ddl function are limited by the permissions of the user account, log on to oracle customer. So, how others pure Java implemented customer oracle can get the metadata of check constraints by using the same user account used to run the dbms_metadata.get_ddl function when this function cannot obtain metadata restrictions for approval when throwing an exception saying that the cheque does not exist?

For example, in Aqua Data Studio and further implemented in pure Java metadata check constraints are extracted and showed in the Table Properties, but when I use the same user account in a java program using JDBC to execute dbms_metadata.get_ddl, an exception is throwed with a message that the constraint does not exist.

So I guess that these pure-Java Oracle customers use Oracle JDBC driver to extract the metadata of check constraint (ddl or the status of the audit). If anyone knows how to use the Oracle JDBC driver to do this, please help me!

SELECT *
FROM all_constraints
WHERE constraint_type = 'C';

will give you all the validation constraints

• Loading metadata for Essbase to planning.

Hello

I want to know what are the methods to load the metadata in the planning of the essbase cube. I tried edge Extractor to create a csv file, then I used ODI to reverse the file and create a data source. Then I reversed the application of planning, developed the interface and charted the dimensions. I have more dimensions in the target that the data source file, and when I run the interface I always have some planning problems.

I need to create a table sql from the csv file then reversed and map it to plan? Is there an easy way, I can load the members without the use of ODI?

Thanks in advance,
-Hussain

Check the operator and look at the statistics in the report it should tell you how many records have been loaded, if it is zero and there is no file error (assuming that you have two types of logging enabled), you must back up why he tries to load no record, break down into sections extracted e.g. planning of sql or a flat file then file/sql for essbase.

• Extract metadata from jpeg to PS CC 2015.5 file

Hello

Is there a way where we can extract the dimensions (width x height, in picas), color data (RGB, CMYK or grayscale) and the resolution of the image (in pixels per inch dpi). for a jpeg file, which was created in PS CC 2015.5

Maybe a script or plugin.

FYI - we want to make a batch to process more maybe 300 to 400 files to extract the metadata.

Concerning

Ray

OK, here's the code ExifTool :

ExifTool - r - line: ImageWidth - leader: ImageHeight - File: ColorComponents - JFIF: XResolution - JFIF: YResolution - IFD0:XResolution - IFD0:YResolution - IFD0:ResolutionUnit - csv "/ users/loggedinusername/Desktop/test ' > ' / Users/loggedinusername/Desktop/exiftool-metadata-dump.csv'ext - .jpg

The output looks like this (reformatted for display of .csv):

= /Users/loggedinusername/Desktop/test/IMG-CMYK.jpg

Image width: 2448

Image height: 3264

Color components: 4

X resolution: 72

Resolution Y: 72

Resolution unit: inch

= /Users/loggedinusername/Desktop/test/IMG-Gray.jpg

Image width: 2448

Image height: 3264

Color components: 1

X resolution: 72

Resolution Y: 72

Resolution unit: inch

= /Users/loggedinusername/Desktop/test/IMG-RGB-SFWL.jpg

Image width: 2448

Image height: 3264

Color components: 3

The first two images were recorded via file > save as, so that they have more information in them to be extracted. The third has been saved save for Web (inheritance), excluding all the metadata, so there is less info available.

You may need to do a find/replace in a spreadsheet to replace the column component color, change 1 in grayscale, RGB 3 and 4 in CMYK.

I can explain the CLI code more in detail if necessary (I applied to false syntax highlighting to help break the elements). This code is formatted for Mac OS, MS Windows would use all right double quotation marks ' and the------expected file path of formatting. "

I hope this helps.

• Ask about the load of metadata in Essbase using the rules file

Hello

In our application, we load the metadata using the Essbase rules file and here, we are faced with a problem. Suppose we have load a member of level 0, called "xxxx" under two different parent, assume parents are Parent_AAAA and Parent_BBBB. But our demand is the operator of consolidation for the first occurrence (i.e. under the Parent_AAAA) is '+' and for the Member shared under Parent_BBBB is ' - '. But, when we are load using rule file the operator of consolidation for the Member always shared loading as ' + '. Y at - it a trick to change the operator of consolidation for other than manually changing outline shared member?

Pls help... Thanks in advance.

I don't think that there is a way to change the default setting.

However, what you can do is to have a different charge and rule file different text with only the metadata that you want to have an exception for shared members. In this way, you can get that you don't have to change existing rules file.

• Extraction of contour Essbase

Is there another way to extract a piece of your plan without having to use the essbase OLAPUNDERGROUND Extractor?
I currently use version 11.1.1.3 on my server and I have the Excel Add-in 9.3 on my desk. I downloaded the version 11.1.1.3 and 11.1.2 extractor and tried to use each of them (installed on my desktop). Both times I got an error message "the file of contour is a newer version that this version can handle.

Well, if you're on 11.1.2.x, you can just use MaxL to contour to the export in xml format:
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E17236_01/EPM.1112/esb_tech_ref/maxl_expotl.html

Have you read dealt with our JohnG on extraction contour Essbase through ODI:
http://John-Goodwin.blogspot.com/2008/10/ODI-series-Essbase-outline-Extractor.html

Despite the complication that ODI implies, I personally prefer ODI - you take a plan Essbase, relationailizing (I just made that Word to the top) and then that the power of SQL apply do everything what you want.

• Export of the metadata of Essbase via the Calc Scripts

Hi guys,.

Here's my problem,

We try to export essbase cube intersections in a flat file (so that it can be used by SUN)

)

We have developed a calc script to export an intersection to a flat file, but the flatfile is written only to the location of the essbase server.

But we need this flat file to immerse in an another server (SUN Server), so what would you suggest is the best way to do this on a regular basis (monthly) and huge amounts of data.

PS: Someone suggested me to use a windows batch file to move the flatfile, but I have no idea how to do that.

Any help would be really appreciated...

Thanks in advance
Arun

Metadata? You mean, right? DATAEXPORT is only going to write the numbers, not of dimensionality.

I did deal with this issue, so - DATAEXPORT wrote only the box to Essbase. You can try pointing to mapped drives, but it has not worked for me.

Why not put together a script MaxL who runs the calc script (standard stuff so far) and then either the caller script in cmd OS either copy it to another location (if on Windows, see COPY) or use the MaxL shell command to launch a shell of the operating system and make the copy?

Another solution would be to set up a routine watcher file FTP'd the file off the drive, then did a deletion of the exported file. You may have to wait five minutes, but that shouldn't be a big problem in Informatica. In fact, I bet that informatica can do 99% of it.

Finally, another approach would be to write that all at a table and just picking up here.<--This is="" probably="" the="" easiest="" and="" if="" you="" think="" about="" it,="" what="" informatica="" was="" meant="" for;="" no="" more="" messy="" files="" to="" worry="" about="" and="" it's="" sql="" all="" the="" way.="" i="" would="" do="" a="" truncate="" after="" it="" read="" the="" table="" as="" dataexport="" has="" a="" habit="" of="" concatenating="">

• ODI 11.1.1.5 with the 10.1.3.6.8 odihapp_essbase.jar & odihapp_common.jar

I have an ODI 11.1.1.5 on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server installation. ODI client and server are on the same box.

I could extract the dimensions of ASOSamp to a SQL Server 2008 Express table successfully. Beautiful, nice, etc.

However, when I try to load to a table, with a rule of the load, I can not do and get the error (abstract):
org.apache.bsf.BSFException: exception of Jython:

I read the great and good John Goodwin blog and OTN messages and see the response seems to be to download the patch for 10.1.3.6.8, take the odihapp_essbase.jar and odihapp_common.jar files and copy them instead of the existing jar files.

Thinking if there more than once, I better copy in all the places so I did just that at:
C:\Oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi\client\jdev\extensions\oracle. ODI.navigator\lib
C:\Oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi.SDK\lib

I start services OPMN upward (Yes, I had to stop doing the copy of file and rename) and then try to my interface with the metadata of SQL for Essbase support. Hallelujah, it works! So, I figure, why not try to launch my ripping process? Surely it will work, right?

Bzzzt! I get the following message (still abbreviated once) using:
org.apache.bsf.BSFException: exception of Jython:

It's clean enough, in a not so clean kind of way.

I can:
(1) to accompany the 11.1.1.5's drivers and extract metadata for Essbase, but not to load the new metadata.
(2) or, using drivers 10.1.3.6.8's I can load new Essbase metadata, but I can't extract it.

I have not yet tried load the data again.

What oh what am I doing wrong? Someone has already tried to do both an excerpt AND a load with 11.1.1.5 and the 10.1.3.6.8 jar patch files?

I'm pretty much where I'll forget the process of full load by ODI and do so rather in a MaxL script that I'm going to automate via a package. I kind of like that better because then I can use very simple SQL in the State of charge instead of the kind of process of SQL-to-text-to-Essbase lame-o that ODI makes loading metadata, but really, it shouldn't have to be this way. In theory, large data sets there should even be a premium performance with the State of charge MaxL/SQL but I not got there yet nor do I really want to.

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards

Cameron Lackpour

Hey Cameron,

There is a simple answer and Nice, you need to import the KM - 'LKM Hyperion Essbase METADATA to SQL' of 10.1.3.6.8
Because this patch of output allows you to choose the alias table to extract and are included in the Java code, if you do not use the KM Java code get the table_alias located in the KM and it does not exist and fail.

I really should update the blog article to understand that.
