Hi all

I am trying to extract a value from the XML. But I'm not able to do.

I gave below the XML and the request which I use to recover data.

Please help me in this regard.

Once again, with the full qualified path, which is preferable from the point of view of optimization, careful inspection of the nodes parents led to the conclusoon they are also in the same namespace, so the following works

 62  select VALUE_STR
 63    from LOAN A,
 64         XMLTABLE
 65         (
 66           xmlnamespaces

 69             'http://xyz.com/ac/xsd/LoanV2.0.3' as "ns1"
 70           ),
 71           '/ns0:LoanWrapperRequest/ns0:LoanRequest/ns0:CXmlPayload/ns1:clm/ns1:provBill[@T="85"]'
 72           passing IXML

  • Create the XML element for the cell in the chart CC2015

    Hello world

    I am currently working with the xml element.

    And I want to create xml, table cell element.

    For now, I can create xml for the graphic cell by select graphic image of that cell, and then call the AutoTag() function.

    But I want to create an xml element of a chart without selected cell.

    I found the function () Utils < IXMLElementCommands >-> CreateElement()

    but it doesn't seem to work with a graphic table cell structure.

    Does anyone know how to do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Try,

    InterfacePtr cellContent (tableModel-> QueryCellContentBoss (gridAddress));

    if(cellContent == Nil) {}

    break;

    }

    InterfacePtr cellXMLReferenceData (cellContent, UseDefaultIID());

    {if(!cellXMLReferenceData)}

    break;

    }

    XMLReference cellXMLRef is cellXMLReferenceData-> GetReference();.

  • How to add content in the xml element?

    I need to insert a word sqrt (plain text without tags) in the xml element of m:msqrt as below:

    enter image description here

    I tried,

    var path = (app.activeDocument.fullName.parent.fsName) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString () replace (/ \ / g, ' /'); document path (sample.indd) active

    var xmlPath = (app.activeDocument.fullName.parent.fsName) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString (.replace(/\\/g, '/')) + "" / with_aid2.xml ";"

    xmlFile = file (xmlPath);

    {if (xmlFile.Exists)}

    xmlFile.open ();

    var myString = xmlFile.read ();

    xmlFile.close ();

    myXml = new XML ();

    myXml = XML (myString);

    var msqrtCount = myXml.xpath("//m:msqrt");

    } else {alert (xmlPath + "does not exist!") ;}}

    for (var i = 0; i < msqrtCount.length (); i ++) {}

    var added = msqrtCount [i];

    added.contents = "sqrt";

    }

    I get an error indicates the invalid content property.

    Try this,

  • How to separate the content of the XML element

    Hi all

    How can we separate content of the XML element in two strings, where each string will be copied to new variables.

    For ex:
    The entry that I get is

    C:/documents/sharedFiles/Apple.PDF < XmLElement > < / XMLElement >

    now I want to break the content into two parts as

    < yyyy > C:/documents/sharedFiles / < / aaaaa >

    Hi Philippe,.

    I tried this on a simple XSL and achieve the desired results:

    Entry:
    ------------

    C:/test/dummy/post/test.PDF

    It will be useful.

    Thank you

  • Loop through all of the xml elements

    How do I loop over all xml tagged in a story? I created a reference to the xml elements of the story I want to like this:

    var xmlStory = myDoc.xmlElements[0].xmlElements[0];

    In this structure, I have items < v > 10 / < v >, which I want to change of < id v '10' = > 10 / < v >. I want to do in the InDesign scripting and not with XSL export because of workflow, I plan. I know I can loop on children in the structure like this:

    for(var i=0;i<xmlStory.xmlElements.length;i++){
                        if(xmlStory.xmlElements[i].markupTag.name == "v"){
                                  xmlStory.xmlElements[i].xmlAttributes.add("id", xmlStory.xmlElements[i].contents);
                       }
             }

    This works very well for the first level, but I want to find all elements with the tag '< v >. These tags can appear at any level in the structure. How can I make sure that all of them are included and not just the first elements of the child of the element of the story?

    Try this,

    #target inDesign;

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    xmlTag var = doc.xmlElements [0];
    var vTag = xmlTag.evaluateXPathExpression("//v")
    for (var i = 0; i)<>
    {
    Try
    {
    vTag [i].xmlAttributes.add ("id", vTag [i].xmlContent.contents)
    }
    {catch (e)}
    }

  • How to remove the XML prologue in Oracle?

    Our system works as follows:

    1. place a piece of XML code in the database as a CLOB
    2 database converts this value to XMLTYPE (stored as a CLOB (you can skip this, Marco * {;-)))))
    3. a request then reads XML from the database and inserts it into another bit of XML
    4. the application continues his treatment based on this new composite XML.

    So far, the XML that is loaded into the database in step 1 (for various systems) has never contained a prologue. However, a new system came along and is now passing in a prologue. There are problems of application in step 3.

    Apart from trying to get the new system do not spend in the prologue, is there a way to remove it of in Oracle?

    I came up with two solutions are not elegant:

    1. use XMLTABLE to retrieve the main root node (which might be different, depending on the system sent in the data and could change)
    2 convert the prologue in a commentary, using REPLACE the product, before converting the CLOB in an XMLTYPE.

    If I was forced to use one of the following methods, I would go with 2, but I really, really hope that there is a better way to do it.

    Someone at - it any other suggestions, please?

    PS. We are currently on 10.2.0.4 and are about to move to 11.2.0.3, but the solution is to work on both versions, for more fun and excitement!

    It's error, the application gives: "error obtaining Exception of SAX for additional information: no processing instruction begins with"xml"" who says that the app dev is due to the presence of the prologue in the middle of xml, the app has build up.

    So, basically, the app just "glue" XML in the middle of the other regardless of the structure? What kind of design is?
    IMO, the application needs to be fixed, not the XML input.

    A lot about how to add the prologue, nothing on how to remove it!

    You can use the XMLQuery function to get the root element:

    SQL> create table tmp_xml3 of xmltype
      2  xmltype store as basicfile clob;

    Table created

    SQL> insert into tmp_xml3 values (xmltype(''));

    1 row inserted

    SQL> select * from tmp_xml3;

    SYS_NC_ROWINFO$
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SQL>
    SQL> select xmlquery('*' passing object_value returning content)
      2  from tmp_xml3;

  • Problem with the date when you load the XML file into Oracle Database 10g

    Hi all

    I have the interface as shown in the screenshot below. In this document, among other things, I am mapping to an element XML file representing a date to an Oracle table column defined as DATE. The source and target columns are highlighted in the screenshot.

    ! http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1565/odiscr275.jpg!

    When I run the interface, I get the following error message:

    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException to java.sql.Date.valueOf(Date.java:103)

    I guess that this is the conversion of the date!

    I already tried to replace SRC_TRADES. DEAL_DATE with TO_DATE (SRC_TRADES. DEAL_DATE, ' DD/MM/YYYY') on the implementation tab. This feature was not recognized when I executed the interface, so it did not work! The value of date in the XML file is in the format DD/MM/YYYY .

    I guess that Date SQL Oracle functions do not work in the implementation tab. Could someone let me know:

    1. what the Date Conversion function I could use instead?
    2. where can I find a reference to the methods/functions that I use in the implementation tab (if such a reference exists)?

    See you soon.

    James

    Hello.

    Try changing the area of execution at the staging area. Once you change it, write in the map box just SRC_TRADERS. DEAL_DATE. When you use TO_DATE, the source field typu should be varchar2, no date (as it is in store for your data source)

  • Extract the matrix element

    I am trying to make the detection of peaks on a waveform. I use the waveform peak detection VI for that. One of the outputs of this VI is a picture of the 'locations' of each peak.

    The table of locations is displayed on the front panel, and it displays each item. I want to be able to extract a specific element of the array, however, say the third element (value = 226). I tried to do by using the table of index function, but I think that my understanding of this feature was incorrect. It seems that this can only isolate an ultrasensitive table 1 d array of?

    I'm sure that the answer is pretty simple, but I'm scratching my head trying to find. Thanks in advance.

    Your contribution is an array of waveforms, so you will get a table of the peaks for each waveform. You check out the first elements, which is a cluster that contains a table of the peaks for the first waveform. (Given that LabVIEW can not have arrays of arrays, you will get an array of clusters, each containing a table 1 d).

    If you have only a waveform in the input array, you must use table index before the detection of peaks and feed only a waveform to get a simple output of table 1 d.

    If you want to analyze an array of waveforms, simply dig a little deeper to the output you get. Array index to get the result of one of the waveforms (that is what you are currently doing!), and then ungroup to get the table of the results of this waveform, then the array index to access the first Ridge.

  • Load the XML file into Oracle external Table

    I load this XML data file into a single table using an external Table. Could someone help me please with coding.

    Thank you

    Reva

    Could you please help me how to insert my XML content into that.

    Same as before, try a plain old INSERT:

    insert into xml_pecos

    values)

    XmlType (bfilename ('XML_DIR', "test.xml"), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'))

    );

    But you'll probably hit the same limitation as with the binary XMLType table.

    In this case, you can use FTP to load the file as a resource in the XML DB repository.

    If the XML schema has been registered with the hierarchy enabled then the file will be automatically inserted into the table.

    Could you post the exact statement that you used to save the scheme?

    In the meantime, you can also read this article, I did a few years ago, it covers the XML DB features that may be useful here, including details on how to load the file via FTP:

    https://odieweblog.WordPress.com/2011/11/23/Oracle-XML-DB-a-practical-example/

    And documentation of the course: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e23094/xdb06stt.htm#ADXDB4672

  • Extract the XML tags and insert into the table

    Description:

    XML is under inert atmosphere in the table containing the xmltype column. Need to extract value from xml tag and insert into the table.
    Once the XML record Treaty must update the status as 'Y' in the base table

    Problem:
    There are multiple occurrences of some tags that need to be combined and stored in a single column to delineate the '-'. No. area of occurrence can vary for each record.
    There are a few encrypted column that I managed to convert decoded value. But used select distinct... XMLTYPE...
    GTT table is used to store the intermediate result and decoding and the concatenation of several tags occurred using TWG.

    1.No. multiple tag will vary how to extract those and concatenate them into a single column. I assumed his occrrence in 3 for example: < student >
    2. how to set the value NULL if no tag is not present. Tag in XML record number can vary. I know that the complete list of xmltags.
    3 data not found error for some xml documents.

    Kindly Assits how to achieve this.

    1.No. multiple tag will vary how to extract those and concatenate them into a single column. I assumed that his occrrence in 3 for example:

    Use the fn:string-join() function:

    path varchar2 (4000) of comments 'string-join(comments/comment, "-").

    2. how to set the value NULL if no tag is not present. Tag in XML record number can vary.

    You don't have anything specific to do in this case.

    Missing tags with a projection in the COLUMNS clause will produce a column NULL by default.
