Thanks in advance!

The thread title half-answers the question: you get objects, not the columns:

select emp_obj(empno, ename)
bulk collect into l_emp

  • How to extract specific data from the user to view?

    Hello

    I have a requirement I need to display only the Session_user-specific data in the table. Scenario is that if the user belongs to a specific region should be able to see data for that specific region only.

    I think passing the session_user view query name but don't know if it of possible or not. If possible how to do this.

    What is the best way to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Hello

    If you use the ADF for authentication security, the user name is then accessible from the context of the ADF in British Colombia ADF. You can then

    1. create a view of the criteria in British Colombia ADF to a specific view

    2. set the display criteria to use a variable binding

    3. use groovy to add the value of the bind variable

    -set the type of value of 'Expression '.

    -Add adf.context.securityContext.userName

    4. go in the Module--> Application data model

    5 Select the instance of the View object

    6. press on "change."

    7. Select the view test

    If you download the example in this article: Oracle ADF: security for everyone so you see that users have a profile page containing data for the authenticated user. Sound by using the method described above

    If you do not use ADF security you can always use this approach. Instead of providing the value of the variable bind using Groovy you can run the view object using executeWithParams operation in this case, you can read the value of the authenticated user to the side view ADF. The binding variable would not be set to the Expression in this case though.

  • loading data into the newly created table

    I have a basic question

    I have a table named 'A' and it has 5 columns

    Now, I created a new table 'B' and copied the 4 columns of table "A".

    Now, I have to add the 5th column along wiith given in table "B".

    my table for 'B' have now 5 columns and the same data that the table 'one '.

    Could someone tell me the procedure. According to my knowledge, it is not possible. Can I even the reason for it.

    Note: With let them down my new table

    Thanks and greetings
    Pallis

    Assumption: You have the following table:

    Table1 (a number, b, c number, number d, e number);

    You made Table2 from table1 as below with the same data as for these 4 columns table1 table2.
    Table1 (a number, b number, number c number d)

    Now, you want to copy the e column too in table1 from table2...

    Means the simplest is:

    drop table table2;
    crate table table2 as select a,b,c,d,e from table1;

    Another way is:

    alter table table2 add e number;

    update table2  t2
    set  t2.e = ( select t1.e from table1 t1 where t1.a=t2.a and t1.b=t2.b and t1.c=t2.c and t1.d=t2.d);

    If you have the primary key on table1, then only the primary columns must be mapped in this inner query where clause.

    Kind regards...

    Hi all

    I make an oriented program data. the data is exported in a financial statement. When it's over, I clears the table and the graph to start again. the problem is when we reboot the VI, the old data will be apear return to the table, instead of a new table of claire. If you guys have any idea on this subject and how can I solve it? I joined together this VI for your reference. Thank you.

    I do not see where you are actually erase all data.

    But the reason for which to get the data of the last execution, is that your shift register is not initialized.  Thus, it keeps the data of the previous run.

    Hi Vincent,.

    I think that you have not worked on adf 12.1.3.  In adf 12.1.3 you don't have to explicitly create the association. When you create the EO to your table, Association xxxxFkAssoc, will be created by ADF12.1.3 for you automatically. Please try this and do not answer anything... You can also follow the links below. I solved the problem by using the following link

  • What is the difference between the type of table and view?

    Hello world.

    What is the difference between the type of view and table that we can set using SQL statement such as: "tab type is table of...» » ?

    A view is a stored query.

    An array type is a construction of PL/SQL.

    Both are documented:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e10897/schema.htm#ADMQS0841

    Management of schema objects

  • Add an attribute of the element configuration table type programmatically.  How can I specify the type of table?

    I am trying to add a configuration item that is an array of strings.  I don't know how to do this programmatically and have it show as an array of strings.  I would like people to be able to use the client of vCO and only change these if needed is.  I managed to add items, but they appear as "modified".  I can retrieve all ok by programming, but I guess since one can table actually waiting variant values is done deal as the generic object rather than an array of strings.  Is it possible to force this type when I put the value via the api?  It's my test code:

    var testArray = new Array();
    testArray.push ("string1");
    testArray.push ("string2");
    element.setAttributeWithKey ("TestKey", testArray);
    This translates into an attribute of type table, but I like it to be of type Array/string;

    Paul, as far as I know, you must manually set your attribute types using the vCO client. You cannot specify the types using script.

  • Curl call to start the workflow with the Type of table / Composite

    Hello I'm trying to start a workflow with an array type / Composite.

    I'm using curl to make the call and post fields look like this when you send just a string:

    {

    "settings":

    [

    {

    'value ':

    {

    "chain": {"value": "test"}

    },

    "type": "string",.

    "name':"vm. "

    "scope": "local".

    }

    ]

    }

    How would he format if I had a type of table / Composite?

    The composite type has the format of the Type / size and String / number

    Well, I don't know like what your workflow, but here is what looks like my quick test workflow:

    I've included the workflow here as well.

    Just a simple script:

    System.debug("Drives:");
    for each (drive in drives){
      System.debug("================");
      System.debug("Type: "+drive.Type);
      System.debug("Size: "+drive.size);
    }

    My results:

  • Where to find the type of table table View ALL/DBA or SYS

    Oracle 10g.

    I searched the Oracle manuals and the web with nothing will do.

    I need to know in which ALL/DBA table view or SYS I find the type (Organization) of a table.
    ITO and 'normal' tables is easy, but I need exactly to know which tables are 'EXTERNAL '!
    Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

    ALL_ALL_TABLES has a column "table_type", but it appears in the form of external tables of ifor NULL.

    Also, I would try to avoid questioning the "SYS" tables directly.

    You can try user_external_tables or dba_external_tables.
