Extreme wispy hair extraction

I use CS6 software app...

A picture of my granddaughter involves an old great-granddaughter of 2 years sitting on the stairs (inside)...

2 + hours of cutting-edge hair out presented by Martin, Howard, Deke, Aaron, Jesus, others; nothing comes close to my problem ...

The vast majority of video tutorials shown to improve from simple outline of a single color...

Please provide a detailed, multicolored hair extraction, landing page, I can watch and learn?

Thank you...

Marvin

Make a great extraction to a strong contrast between the hair and the background of origin. If you don't see this, you must find a way. Often as a copy of one color channel is a good starting point.   Do not start using hand tools like brushes have right tools Photoshop do as much work as they can do. Use refine edges, filters and as levels adjustment tools.  Background replacement which match a little to the original and the mixture can help.   If the original background is white or nearly merge multiply can bring back these hairs that MissTake refers to. However when there is no good contrast, you need to rig the extraction. You must enter as artist in you and paint your Mona Lisa...

  • Extremely slow during extraction of CD to iTunes

I think that there is something wrong with my drive.

I bought my desktop on Black Friday, opened last week and it seemed extremely fast; I absolutely loved.

But yesterday, I decided to add my new CD to iTunes (whether it is Christmas and all) and I noticed that it seemed like it wasn't their extraction to iTunes. So I leave it alone. From 13:00 until 19:00, it was tearing my 31 Elvis Hits CD song music.

On my old computer which eventually burned, it took about 5 minutes. I think six hours is a bit too long for only 1 CD / 31 songs. What do you think happens / does not?

It's HD 8 GB and 1 TB Mem.

  • Question from newbie on masking/extraction

    Hello

I'm relatively new to Photoshop and tries to extract an image of a face from its background. Unfortunately, the image that I use is extremely difficult. It is definitely not for beginners. I have attached to this email. I wonder if sometimes the best strategy is to simply pass on the photo and not even attempt it. In other words, pick your battles. How advanced users would attempt to extract or hide this photo? I started with the usual and then entered tools in the troubled world of masks, but I dropped. Any tips? See attached picture.

    I work in CS4.

    Thank you.

You can duplicate any channel, or image > calculations to improve the difference between her hair and the background. You can adjust the levels of the mask as a result, as painting on masks with a brush in overlay to tease mode contrast in the mask. There are four quadrants in the background (right, left, up-right, at the top left), and each may have a separate mask.

You can use a brush in color mode to help bring back the color of any fringe to color her hair. A quick assessment, I would say that this mask will be very difficult to do, especially if you hope to print the results. If you just need to seem him for good in a web picture 400 px, it's different.

  • Extremely slow/unnecessary Windows Update after system recovery.

    Hello

While trying to help a friend with her laptop, I encountered a small problem, which seems quite unique. After searching the ' net and the Knowledge Base, I'm about as clued in as when I started, that is to say not very.

    Machine: Satellite 1800 412 (Danish).

DID: Restore the system to zero back to XP SP1a (NSP).

Problem: After a complete system via the original recovery CD restore, Windows Update is running * extremely * slowly, or not at all, once it gets to the point where it scans for updates you need. So far, I've managed to get 1 downloaded an update, a little. As an update is attempted usage of the processor reaches a maximum at 100% and stay there until I abandon and hard restarts, since the machine is now almost useless and lazy point appear frozen.

Tried to: applied manually different updates downloaded directly from Microsoft, such as Internet Explorer 6 sp1, XP SP2 (DK), various updates and patches for XP downloaded and checked/tried to reinstall the drivers of Toshiba (they are updated). Verify that the systems boots properly with all recognized devices. Check the system clock. Searched the Toshiba KB, searched the Internet, searched the Toshiba support forum. Pulls hair in desperation. I have to have restored the system 4times intant to try different ways of patching the system with updates.

Special features: It is apparently * only * updated Windows, what causes this problem, and that after the first few, where he updates the Windows Update engine in Internet Explorer. Before that I'm trying to update the machine apparently functioning normally. I can surf, download, install and run programs and what not. (No, I did not visit suspicious websites.) If Windows Update runs automatically in the background / 'in the status bar', the same thing is happening: Machine suddenly becomes useless and stays that way.

The machine is on a local network behind one bulletproof OpenBSD firewall, no other Windows machines inside, so there is no chance of a quick infection of the network at the origin of the problem.

Unfortunately: Manually download and apply the patches aren't an option I want to activate the automatic updates before you return the machine back to its owner.

Hope some of you might have an answer to this one, because I have never known or heard of something similar before.

    Frank.

    Hello

  • gc_w01_enu_nb.exe extracted from 100%, but Setup fails instantly in winxp pro

gc_w01_enu_nb.exe extracted from 100%, but Setup fails instantly in winxp pro

I try to install the full feature driver for my PSC 1315xi on two WinXP Pro PC.

    One worked perfectly.

On the second, when I run the exe download, I get the message 'Extraction', but when he goes up to 100%, never open the setuup window.  And no error message is displayed.  I searched and found a log file which was produced.  It includes the following:

    GetValueByLang (f-> c_str(), _T (Version), _T (LanguagesInthisCD) failed "
System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU
    # The system language is ENU, but is not on our CD!
    # We couldn't understand a language to use and return FALSE from CICECmdLine::GetLanguage()!
    # GetValueByLang (f-> c_str(), _T (Version), _T (LanguagesInthisCD) failed "
    Installer returned 1603

    Any help would be appreciated.

I think I have solved this problem.

I have a PC Windows XP Pro (SP3) who has been affected by this problem.

Immediately after that the window of 'extraction' went to 100% and closed, nothing happened.  The windows install/never display software.

Whenever I tried it creates a log file that started with this:

    "Parsed command line: «.\Setup.exe".

    Using datfile: C:\DOCUME~1\xxxxx\LOCALS~1\Temp\7zS1293\autorun.inf

    # GetValueByLang (f-> c_str(), _T (Version), _T (LanguagesInthisCD) failed "

System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU

    # The system language is ENU, but is not on our CD!

There was other error messages after that, but they all come from lines 3 and 5.

Something she prevented the installation program to recognize the language ENU files ARE present in this download.

Comparing two PCs, a problem, and one that works perfectly, I saw that one who was not was AutoRun disabled through a registry setting.  I temporarily deleted this registry on the PC that wasn't and Setup launched and ran like he was supposed to.  Here are the first of this log from the same PC, a few minutes later, where the only difference was that I had removed the registry setting criminalized:

    "Parsed command line: «.\Setup.exe".

    Using datfile: C:\DOCUME~1\xxxxx\LOCALS~1\Temp\7zS1293\autorun.inf

System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU

We use the system of language = FRA, which is located on our CD!

As you can see, the message "(LanguagesInthisCD) failed" (line 3) disappeared, and the line 5 (now line 4) shows that it has to recognize that the language ENU installation files are present.

So if you encounter this problem, and you are comfortable with the system registry, here is how I got it to work on my PC:

    Start regedit
Navigate to the bottom of this tree
    -HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    -SOFTWARE
    -Microsoft
    -Windows NT
    -CurrentVersion
    -IniFileMapping
Below, find out if there is a key named "Autorun.inf".
On my PC (the one with this problem) the value of this key has been "@SYS: nexistepas".
If your registry database also has this, it may be the cause of your problem.
In the left pane of regedit, do a right click on Autorun.inf and select "Rename" from the context menu.
Change the name to something like "Autorun.inf.hold".
    Close regedit
At this point, I restarted my PC, but I don't know if it is really necessary.
I ran the downloaded driver file.  It extracted, and the Installer started out as it was supposed to.

When it was done, I returned in regedit and renamed "Autorun.inf.hold" to "Autorun.inf".

It is extremely frustrating for me, and (if you need it), I hope that this solution works for you.

  • head turner activation results in my characters face, hair and eyes to disappear.

    Hey!

So I made positions for my head of characters, they all look fine and work with keyboard commands, that I assigned, but when I activate the head Turner, at the front, his head disappears side of a piece of hair in the district stations, hair disappears, and in the position profile, her hair and the eyeball disappear.  I crossed checked with windego, and things are looking good, but I must be missing something.

    Two bonus bonus questions:

    1. in the quarter, and the profile its head detaches from the neck when I lie back but at the front, it works normally and do not detach. Any thoughts?

    2. I understand that I'm supposed to change the percentages of face (such as strength of head tilt and scale) individually, but they seep to have no effect. Thoughts?

    Thank you!!!

In Preview 3, head Turner is named 'before' layers containing layers as your "front wrap." To avoid this problem, extract 4 (out since early summer) will only match "front-end". For now, except for the "Front" group itself, just rename all layers with "before" in their name to something like 'frnt.

In addition, to make sure lip sync & facial features work in all views, make sure you have the two Lip Sync behavior & applied face:

    (1) at the root (this is the default)

    (2) on all points of view with the exception of the façade (which is the first, so it is covered by the root ones)-that is to say shift left/right and left profile

Yet once, extracted 4 fact disappear this complexity - the pair of root will be applied to all faces & mouths in the puppet.

  • Jpg extreme noise

    Hello.

I had a problem with a set of photographs that is completely new to me.

When I export them to jpg, the glimpse of the file shows an extreme amount of noise, but when you open it it's fine and just as I see in Lightroom when editing.

    File Preview

    20160321-Screen Shot 2016-03-21 at 14.36.08.jpg

    Open the file

    Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 22.17.12.png

It is in fact little noise originally because it was taken in low light conditions. But not to this extreme.

The real problem is when I print, it comes out as a file extract of: total of noise.

I tried to change the same photo in Photoshop and I can very well, but I do an album and I really need to continue to work on LR.

I really need help with that.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Next to the algorithm of inaccurate resampling in OSX Preview app, the main problem I see is that sharpening of export (output) is applied without the image has been resized.

In general, export sharpening is used to counter the confusion because of smaller resize, but you're not resize smaller, so instead of sharpening is to simply improve the rest of noise in the image, reversing the effect of the noise reduction or maybe even do worse than the original noise.

Here's a side-by-side of your original raw with the same detail settings applied in your screenshot with your JPG exported without modification.  As you can see noise in the exported JPG is much worse than the raw with NR applied.  This difference in noise is due to the sharpening of additional export.

    --

The other non optimal thing I see is that you use not all hiding in the region to develop sharpen, therefore any sharpening being applied to develop is to apply also the details of the image and the sound, which is probably not what you want with a high sensitivity image.

You can hold down Alt or Opt by dragging the masking slider until the edges only are highlighted:

Here is the result of the addition of this mask, it reduces the noise in the world except the aforementioned edges which remain still sharp:

After using the masking, you may remember the noise reduction a bit more.

    --

Improves the overview application OS still the noise due to the help of the young but inaccurate resampling algorithm as described previously, but this answer is on how the export picture, itself, was also much more noise that you might have intended.

Why this just started happening, I don't know.  Maybe you started when exporting sharpening for a reason, or maybe you started shooting at high ISO.

    --

If you have defined your export sharpening to Standard mast, as shown in the screenshot, because you will be printing on matte paper, then understand that the sharpening you do before printing must be done at the printer resolution not native image resolution, so if this export is to send to a printer rather than the visualization, he must be stronger that what looks good on the screen , but you should be resize using the dimensions in pixels or inches/PPI that make sense for the final print size and do a different export for each different print size.  A draw at 300 PPI of 8 x 10 must be resized to 2400 x 3000 with that sharpened during export.

It is much easier to let this resizing and sharpening in the print module if you can print from LR LR.

If the exported image is just for display of the screen then it must be resized to the size of the screen and then sharpened if necessary and if this image is just an intermediary without knowing what output support is for, then do not use export sharpening at all if you export to the native format (without resizing).

  • Need help with extremely low rates of FPS on X 51 new R2

I just bought a new Alienware X 51 R2 to replace an old Alienware model with a Radeon graphics card that I bought in 2012. My old machine has done useful work to run the games, and I was getting about 30 FPS on Grand Theft Auto 5 to high heat (especially) with a resolution of 1440 X 900. For most of the games I could play on normal settings and get 30 + FPS and I was happy with it. Not so with the new X 51 R2 I bought.

Almost immediately, I noticed that my FPS with GTA V was extremely low. When I start a game (1920 X 1080 with normal settings), the FPS is around 120, and the game plays smooth as butter, but as soon as I start to move starts to decline until it is of the order of 15-20. Enter a car is even worse, with FPS readings between 5 and 10, and at this rate, it is impossible to play. The problem seems to occur any resolution, I start the game or if I push the graphics settings to the lowest available.

I thought it was a driver problem, so I uninstalled all the drivers and software NVIDIA and a clean installed drivers, but that has not helped. Then I started to download and test the other games that I have to look at my FPS with them. Note that I tested each game first leave the game choose the graphics setting, then I tested it again on smaller settings at 1920 X 1080 and 1440 X 900.

    • Skyrim on old PC: 40 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Skyrim w / default: 8-12 FPS and a lot of stuttering and offset
    • Skyrim @ 1920 X 1080: 12-15 FPS with less stutter but terrible mouse and keyboard delay.
    • Skyrim @ 1440 X 900: even at 1080
    • RAGE on old PC: 50 to 60 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • RAGE w / default settings: 25-35 FPS, but ran pretty smooth.
    • RAGE @ 1920 X 1080 and 1440 X 900: performs the same as the default settings
    • CoD4MW on old PC: 50 to 60 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • CoD4MW w / default settings: 10-15 FPS and a lot of stuttering
    • CoD4MW @ 1920 1440: 10-15 FPS and a lot of stuttering
    • Civilization 5 on old PC: 40-50 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Civ5 on default settings: starts at ~ 35 FPS and descends until it is less than 20 years. Game play is smooth enough, as long as I'm not scroll the map.
    • Civ5 on 1920 X 1080: as with the settings by default, starts at ~ 35 FPS and begins to drop immediately.
    • Civ5 on 1440 X 900: much better that it begins at 60 FPS, but like the others, begins a fall after a few minutes, but not too far. Tube in the lower 20s.
    • Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on the old PC: 90 + FPS to the highest settings (game released like 10 years ago)
    • Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 to 1600 X 900: 50 to 60 FPS and quite smooth.
    • Dead Island on old PC: 40-50 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Dead Island in 1920 X 1080: 5 to 10 FPS and a lot of stuttering and keyboard/mouse lag.
    • Dead Island at 1440 X 900: 10-15 FPS and stuttering with some lag mouse.

Here is a list of some of the things I've tried:

    1. Downloaded FRAPS and used instead of the tool integrated FPS w / steam. Readings FRAPS corresponding to the display of the steam.
    2. Wipe the old NVIDIA drivers/software and did a clean install only the driver.
    3. Turn off VSync and tried the Adaptive VSync; neither helped.
    4. I bought a keyboard Roccat / mouse and I was wondering if they were part of the problem, so I uninstalled them and used a plain Microsoft keyboard and mouse. Did not help.
    5. Set the executable of the game to the highest priority in the Task Manager. Not good.
    6. Watched the memory usage, CPU utilization and disk i/o while playing to see if I have the hardware bottlenecks. CPU usage never had more than 20%. Memory usage has never had more than 37%. Drive e/s never had more than 10% after the initial load.

    System Specs:

    • Alienware X 51 R2
    • Windows 8.1
    • Processor: Intel Core i7 core 4 4790 @ 4000 MHz
    • RAM: 16 Gb DDR3
    • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 w / 2 GB of memory
    • HARD disk: 7200 RPM Toshiba DT01ACA200

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how I can solve the problem. This is the first time I've owned a GeForce card (always had ATI Radeon in the past), and I'm starting to question that decision. The only game I could get decent framerate on is 10 years and more, and it's pretty frustrating.

Someone has an idea of what I can do to get to a resolution?

There must be something wrong with the fan 960 GTX. Either it has disconnected or broken. Or in bulk (screws not doing their job). I do not think that it is disconnected because it is detected, so it is either broken or it is loose.

You can check yourself on the GPU or contact technical support to examine it.

  • Excel crashes during the extraction of data using webutil - if size 500 kb >

    Dear all,

I use form oracle (Forms [32 bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)) on Windows server 2003 and configured webutil(Version 1.0.0). I m using this webutil to open excel file form oracle using CLIENT_OLE2. everything works fine if the size of the file is small.however, when data are large (i.e. If excel file size is superior the 500Ko) webutil stop extracting data and excel to hang himself. In fact, at first data are extracted very fast (until the excel file 200 kb) but little by little extraction speed of data to excel file decreases and stops in the end that the size of the file reaches 500 KB excel please help its urgent.

    Kind regards

    Manoj Rajput

I understand your desire to use Excel, however, when you transfer large amounts of data like this, WebUtil is not the best tool for the job.  Since you survived "fetch data in Excel through webutil (CLient_ole2)" you force your customers to wait a long time while your form for read/write in Excel.  A more effective method would be to use a directory that is shared between your database file systems and Application Server and the database allows you to export your data to a file: separation by comma (.csv) in the shared directory.  Then use WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.AS_TO_CLIENT () method of WebUtil to transfer the file to the client computer.  If you want to automatically open the file for the user, you can then use the CLIENT_HOST() of WebUtil method to open the file using its default display.  In this case, the typical Viewer for .csv files is Excel.  It is a much faster method that always uses Excel and I think that your users would be extremely satisfied with the much faster processing speed.

  • How to extract text from a GIF Image?

I have 47 lines typed text parsed as (.gif) image file.  I want 47 lines of text from the image, so it can be edited in MS Word. I've attached an example image file. I have several of the same format image files. How to extract text from an image using Photoshop CS2. In Photoshop CS2 image text layer is locked. During extraction using OCR it gives words and symbols, should be a lot of words spruced up. Kindly help to extract text using Photoshop CS2. Thank you.

    14.gif

This has nothing to do with PS. Others are simply limits to all OCR process and you will have to live with it, especially since your image is extremely low resolution and the font used is not particularly suitable for OCR, either - too many thin areas will be ignored or interpreted as gray. Whatever it is, it took me 2 minutes to write this response at this very moment a bad typist like me might have re typed your text from scratch, just access it so...

Does anyone else know extremely slow performance after the update?  I tried all the usual items, delete the cache, reinstall etc... Last try was install on a clean system... still very slow performance.

Intermittent symptoms are: push the space bar to play - 1 or 2 second hesitation, pushing the space bar to play audio but video playback does not work, some filters is blurry, curved RGB for example take 2 ~ 4 seconds of 'kick '...

Same exact same system configuration on the previous version had no issues and was very sensitive. Also this on 2 other systems that have been updated. All Mac.  Customers are starting to notice the hesitation on the reading that is really powerful.

I used combinations to remove grain, keylight, combiner and channel cache alpha and it does not satisfy me! Do I have to use a plugin for this extraction. This hair is too complicated for me! for that color of dress, I thought to use the background image to this area! never worked for this kind! Ideas and help will be appreciated! Please help me!

I think it's just a matter of adjustment carefully and adding a little light envelope.

It is a coup dagger 30 second to a solution using some background images, I had to hang out... Add a few blurry camera lenses in the background to create a depth of field controlled by an effect mask and you're done...

Yes, I think that what you are looking for is in .wrf each workload (workload results file). These are the output of workload files which tilescore.pl the process to create Score_N_Tile_Test.out. You can find all the .wrf of executing files in the folder results of the race, C:\VMmark2\results\Results_ time the race finished.

For example, in MailserverN.wrf, where N is the number of tile of the workload, you can see per minute on average metric for the workload of mail server. These measures are extremely specific and include the throughput and the latency of the types of operations among other things. As a measure of overall throughput, I often refer to '\\VMMARK2VCLIENTN\Exchange load motor of the generator (_total) \Tasks Completed/s", which would normally fall around a bit more than 30 tasks executed per second. You can view this file .wrf either under Perfmon a .csv.

Each .wrf file format is specific to its workload.

  • Apache 2.2 - 12 c WebLogic proxy behavior extremely slow when using SSL

We find that extremely slow behavior (loading time of 1 + minute) when you try to access a Server WebLogic 12 c behind an Apache 2.2 web server.  We use the latest version of the WebLogic Apache plugin, which is designed for Apache 2.2.  It is under the 1.7.0_21 of Java on a virtual Linux of RHEL6 machine.  If I disable SSL and point the WebLogic plugin to the no - SSL WebLogic port, the page renders in less than 1 second.

Note: Another machine with the same configuration (almost?) does not exhibit this behavior.  I'll call it the 'work' VM.

I compared the httpd.conf, httpd-dist and WebLogic console configuration tabs between the two environments, and everything seems to fit.  The only major difference between these two environments is on the 'work' VM we're running WebLogic as a standard user; and Apache on the machine with a strange behavior, WebLogic runs as root.  We have not noticed any problems with such a configuration in the past.

The delay between the request for page and page rendering is a little over 1 minute.  I turned on SSL debugging extended and looked through the newspaper, and I see the same delay when requesting.  An excerpt from my weblogic - server.log follows.  I don't know if the exception I see below is normal or not; I checked, and I see the same exception on our 'VM work' so I guess that this is probably not the culprit.

    My httpd.conf contains:

    < IfModule mod_weblogic.c >

    WebLogicHost my_host

    WebLogicPort 7004

    Proxysecurise WE

    ConnectTimeoutSecs 20

    WLSSLWallet/appl/apache/certs/my_host-oracle-wallet

    DebugConfigInfo WE

    WLProxySSL WE

    < / IfModule >

Thanks in advance - any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's the log of WebLogic.  The Apache log displays any errors.

Note that the ' javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated ", could indicate the Java has problems with the validation of the certificate.

VeriSign must be present in the Virtual Machine cacerts keystore Java. What you can do is download the certificate using openssl, for example.

    ECHO | OpenSSL s_client-connect ${HOST}: ${PORT} 2 > & 1 | SED - don't ' / BEGIN-CERTIFICATE - /, / END CERTIFICATE-/ p'

and then manually import it into the cacerts file, for example (extracts of Middleware: secure the WebLogic Server)

    keytool-import - alias some_alias-file some_certificate.pem - keystore ${JRE_HOME} / lib/security/cacerts

The slow response may occur, in the sense that Java uses a random generator to slow (OS). Also in the ${JRE_HOME} / lib/security/directory there is a file called java.security. In this file the following line is present

    SecureRandom.Source=file:/dev/urandom

On a Linux system, this must change for

    SecureRandom.Source=file:/dev/./urandom

Now, it will recognize as a file and start actually using it, instead of falling back into the slow random file.
