  I had the same problem.  CH Control Manager is the problem and the order in which it was installed questions.  Take the following steps in the following order:

  1. plug all CH. gamepads

  2 uninstall the control points Manager

  3. restart your computer.

  4 plug all your joysticks CH.

  When I rebuilt my system, I went step by step in reinstalling the software.  I understand that better, my usb problems related to Asus motherboard utilities.  These are not entirely compatible Windows 8 and introduce problematic drivers.  Finished to start my Acronis True Image boot USB and backup of backup image of this morning.  Problem solved.

  Staying away the Asus utilities for now... btw, Asus technical support on my problems was totally useless, even if the code 19 errors point to hardware problems, which are covered by the guarantee.

  If you use the Asus utilities, you may be able to rebuilt without them...

  Recently got my ASUS Windows 8 and for some reason any my task manager does not work at all. I have Avast and I ran a bunch of virus scans but nothing. Now it was working fine a few days ago, that I have no idea what continues to everything and I'm just a bit of new features in Windows. When using the commands to open the taskbar, it does not open but the icon appears at the bottom. I click on the taskbar icon and nothing appears at all the... When I move my mouse over the taskbar button I can see, but it will not appear.
