Facebook chat bar disappeared.

Title says it all. It is missing about a week, I noticed about 2-3 days ago. It's just a blank space where it used to be, and no where came.
I've deleted and reinstalled Firefox.
I use the latest version of Mac OS X as well as Firefox.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    I just installed Firefox 14 and Facebook chat work anymore. Also, I can't get down to the bottom of the window for messages and updates. the portable version of Firefox 14 the same features.     You should try to clear the cache-
    Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

    Also try to delete unwanted cookies-
    Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Have you tried running on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to see what plugin/addon etc which may cause?
