Facilitate the update!

Update is a lil confusing! Took me a ton of time to understand how to do the "manual updates". Was a bit inconvenient. Click "Firefox" button - then click on 'help' - then click on "about of Firefox", it's not what you expect.

Not - where you are given a clue, this will help you in manual update! Also how do you know to add it on and extensions are up-to-date?

For those like me who just want to could make sure that everything is up to date someone make a new button?

Make a button named "Updates" and add next to the button home upward at the top. Leave this button to somehow not only manually check the updates of Firefox, but also check the updates to the Extensions and the module. So tell us, yes everything is up to date or these things could be updated, and these things may be added to improve the performance of your browsers.

That would be very helpful! Hope a developer is able to do and soon!

Because other then that I go back to Firefox as my browser and I love everything and how it works! All that I have to manage my business is a simple click and I'm here.

I recommend Firefox to everyone I know because it's awesome. But even my friends ask, uh how can we be sure that everything is up to date?

Thanks to all for making Firefox Awesome!

also for a security reason updated automatically blocked until Monday, September 30, 2013.

If you have firefox automatically update does not work for 2 days, Saturday 28, Sunday 29 2013.

Thanks again

  • JavaScript/AJAX - Show image while the update is done and then hide it.

    I want to do an update with AJAX, but I want an image 'pending' to be displayed before the update and then hide later. In this way, if there is a delay in the update or a line lock, the screen freezes not just, it displays an icon of 'Please wait '.
    I use code like the following to record in the database when a field is not checked (does it facilitate the trial):
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function deselect_field(f) {
      f.disabled=true;
      f.className=f.className + " saving";

      v.get()

      f.className=f.className.replace("saving"," ");
      f.disabled=false;
    }
    </script>
    The economy class defines the background. I tested without the parameter no and it works fine. I think the problem is ajax is called too quickly, that is to say until the screen has had the chance to update.

    SO-, my question is, how do I get the display of images (animated gif) while the AJAX call is the treatment and then hide it in the end?

    Since the update for Sierra, Messages no longer displays Contact names - only phone numbers.  No instructions on how to remedy this.  Ideas?

    Hello

    Go into the Contacts application and ensure that it uses the same account synchronization like the iPhone and other devices you may be using.

    Also check the part of the accounts of the Contacts application preferences and make sure that it's only using one account.

    The use of the battery has increased since the update to ios 10. Also, why can not disable the voice command. It's the most boring on the new update.

    Depending on what you mean by "voice command", either:

    Settings / general / accessibility / VoiceOver / OFF, or

    Settings / Siri / OFF

    As for your use of the battery, you can check what app pulls most of its use in the settings / battery.  A new version of the app is sometimes problematic, not necessarily iOS or iPhone.  If you see a unusual % of use of a particular application, or force-to leave it removal/reinstalling it or remove it until an update comes.  If anything seems unusual, it might be a problematic installation of iOS, in which case, you could backup your iPhone and restore it:

  • Problems with the update IOS 10

    Hello

    I need help.  I updated my iphone 6 more last night at 10 IOS.  The update seemed to have worked, but now I can't sign in with my password ID Apple I get an error "Self-test Failed - there is a connectin to the Apple ID server error" to come after as I try to connect.  In addition, I can't in the itunes and app store apps.  The app just itunes appears blank and the app store app wrote "loading" all the time.  In fact, I have a problem, try to get the majority of my apps work now either.

    The only thing I tried to do to fix the problem is to turn the phone on and off again.  Any suggestions please?

    Jane.

    Greetings anfield5jane,

    I see that after updating your iPhone 6 more last night at iOS 10, you are now unable to connect your Apple ID and password. You get a verification failure message. I know how it is important to ensure that you can use these applications and services.

    I suggest you force by closing the App Store and the iTunes and app reopened to see if you get the same question. The following article will help you: force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    If you notice that helps, try to force, close other applications that have the same problem.

    I would also like to test this on Wi - Fi and cellular data to see if you get the same result.

    Please let us know what happens. We're here to help.

    Best regards.

  • After the update of Sierra: not to Disable Trackpad with Magic Mouse connected

    Hello

    After that I updated to macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro the Trackpad is not disable mouse connected with Magic.

    Feature: MacBook Pro retina 15 inches (end of 2014) on macOS Sierra.

    Since the update, I noticed that my stays compatible with my Magic Mouse connected after built-in trackpad window connection.

    In system-> accessibility-> mouse and Trackpad preferences, I have not "ignore the built-in trackpad when mouse or trackpad wireless is present". If I switch it off and on again once again, the parameter will be.

    However, once I lock the device (user name right-> connection... window) and reconnect, the trackpad works. You must pass the parameter each time.

    Is this a bug of Mac OS Sierra (can't find anything) or am I missing something? I am aware that the trackpad is reactivated at the login window, but before it will deactivate after logging in.

    I don't use Magic Mouse, but I have USB Wired mouse and I have the same problem since installing Sierra.

    I have the box ticked, but I must go and clear the check box and then save.

    I have to use a mouse all the time because my trackpad goes haywire and I wasn't able to find a solution for this. It moves its own and open stuff on its own.

  • Has anyone lost their 4G with the update?

    I have an iPhone with T-Mobile 5. I have updated to iOS 10.0.1 slightly more 2 weeks ago (Wednesday, 14 September). I had zero problems with the update until 2 days ago (Wednesday, 28 September). Since two days ago, I don't have 4 G service. It works now only EDGE. For T-Mobile users not, EDGE is the network used when 4G isn't available (similar to 1 x the Sprint). It basically lets you helpless with the data if you are not able to be on wifi. Page load times are like being in 2005. Too slow for the cards to work, checking e-mail takes several minutes, etc.

    I tried to reset network settings, update the carrier settings, turning the phone on & off, turning 'Activate LTE' turn off, but also to talk with the service the customer. T-Mobile says I'm connected to all the right tricks for 4 G and does not know why I don't get 4 g. I also tried updating to 10.0.2 yesterday evening hoping that there was a difficulty with it, but it was not. Has anyone else had this problem in the last days (with or without T-Mobile)? It worked fine for the first 2 weeks of the update.

    AirPlay does not work on Apple TV with ios 10.  It was working before the update.  Please notify.

    Try these steps, check to see if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

    1. Check AirPlay is on the Apple TV (turn market if it already is)
    2. Check that both devices are on the same network (settings > Wifi on the mobile device and the settings > general > network, on the Apple TV).
    3. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
    4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
    5. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    6. Restart your computer or mobile device.

  • cannot select the disk to install the update of the Sierra (Macbook Pro 13 inch, late 2011)

    I downloaded the update of the Sierra and proceeded with the installation. However, I noticed that even if I could move the pointer autour, I couldn't make selections on tapping the trackpad. I managed to get past the first steps by using the 'tab' key (keyboard) to make selections and 'space' to make the confirmations. However, arriving at step 'select the disk where you want to install Mac OS', the 'Tab' and 'Space' technical has stopped working. Now I'm stuck here. Can someone tell me please how to go beyond this?

    Looks like it's a problem of trackpad? Or in any case a trackpad issue connected with installation of Sierra? I would take the MBP for a Genius Bar...

  • Mac stops do not after the update of the sierra

    I've updated my MacBook Air (13 inches early 2015) to Sierra. After the update, it is not shut down or restart. If I click on stop, my screen goes black and the keyboard backlight is on. The judgment never ends. Its the same case on reboot too.

    Although this will help, but I have also reported this problem, like many other people:

    Apple should give a direct response to this because it is obviously not an isolated incident.

  • iTunes playlists/media, missing since the update of the sierra

    It will be difficult to explain, but my Mac threw a fit when I updated for sierra.  Initially, I lost my entire library.  It's on an external drive and sierra seemed to point to the default library.  Called Apple and they said the "file multimedia iTunes was missing.   Sharp itunes for the external drive and he could not see.  Probably because of the missing multimedia iTunes file.  Took an hour of round Mobile files and the technician left me with the items to copy and said "that should do it."  After that a few hours I received a message that the hard drive was full!  Somehow he had copied to files and duplicate the hard disk.  All my playlists were too with the counties of game and bookmarks missing from TV etc.   Some worked me and somehow got all this back and forth, the whole lot, but now I have 2 files on the external HARD drive.  the one with the real files (less the multimedia file mentioned previously).  The other file has files itl etc. and the iTunes media inside as well as the illustrations, BUT in the preferences folder, the library is pointing to the folder which has just the files in it and NOT all the info in there library database.   It works, what's more to say apples, fix, but it's a weird way of working and im about to move my library to a new drive and I see bad to come.  Can I move the two files to new HARD drive? If yes how it will find my playlist information and files when they are distributed in 2 files.  My apologies for what is long. Thanks for the pointers

    Preferences do not "point" on location of media except to say iTunes to put whatever it is added from this point, the to this place. The only thing pointing to the location of media is each individual line in the .itl file entries.  It seems to me that you used to have a shared library with multimedia files on a drive along with the rest of the library support on your disk files inside.  You do not specify what has happened when you "lost" your library.  If you say that you lost playlists and counters that it sounds to me like you are creating a new library (.itl) starting with a white and adding media to him to get a stand-alone library the way things normally are.  Personally, I wish that you had come here first because we probably could have cured it all in 5 minutes, being a little more than a power - a by-the-book mindset. There is probably an easy fix, but now everything has been confused by you and Apple apparently trying to get everything back up to the main drive I don't know where we are.

    You have a backup from before doing the update?  You still need a backup.  If you do then things likely to find without too much problem.

    Are your files on the external hard drive always as they were before?  You have two folders in library in your music folder? You must be old. Try starting iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and when you are prompted to select the .itl file in the old folder.  This is the file 'pointing' for your multimedia files on the external hard drive and containing of playlists, ratings, date added, etc.
