  You can see instructions OWC here. Tools are mentioned in the discussion (I used a plastic knife picnic with the stronger edge somewhat blunt for nylon pry tool). I suggest you invest in one of these external fences. Install the SSD in who and clone internally externally with CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper. Then move the external drive of the internal drive after the start of the SSD in the external to confirm the operation.

I was able to fix by restarting, it is to unplug the usb cable first from the printer, wait 5 seconds, plug the cable back in.   My HTPC uses a small SSD 30gig as an OS drive, with all the media stored on a 2 TB WD MyBook Live all connected via gigabit ethernet.  The NAS is mapped by Win7 Premium as Z: and is visible for Win 7 and all other programs, including iTunes and XBMC.  In Media Center settings-> TV-> check the possibility of the recorder are grayed out (+/-buttons) and the drive C: of SSD is the only option.  What can I do to get the WMC to see the SIN?  Is there another setting of mapping I should use?

  Also, as a side note, there is no option to change the quality of the recording at all.  Installer below.  If any other information is needed, let me know.

  I would avoid the Samsung SSD.  If you analyze these forums, many users have experienced difficulties with the Samsung SSD.  (Some are not)  Note that Samsung is unable to talk about Mac compatibility on their web site.  I think what to say.

  I can recommend Crucial SSD based on my experience in the installation of three of them in my Mbps.   OWC SSDS have an excellent reputation.

  I support the Crucial RAM.  I have 16 GB of Crucial RAM installed in two of my Mbps.  16 GB of RAM should present no problems for your MBP.  OWC is also a great salesman of RAM Mac compatible.
