• 3 laptops different ALL been facing intermittent problems with the USB ports.

  We have 3 laptops at home, running 3 different versions of winsows 7... Home, Professional and Ultimate. They have in recent months ALL given intermittent problems with the USB ports. A device that worked on a port stops working. It may or may not work on another port. A week later it could very well lead again on the port that wouldn't work. This applies to all types of devices.

  A few more questions:

  Is there a USB device that you use with all three computers?

  This problem occurs with all kinds of USB devices?

  The is the problem with all the USB ports on each laptop?

  Have you tried to reinstall the USB drivers? As in, uninstall via the Device Manager, restart your PC and allowing Windows to reinstall?

  the warning you have posted is just a warning and normally BI Publisher (OC4J) works even with this warning. There must be something else wrong.

  I am using captivate to create e-learning courses for my client. The course was in PPT and slides have been imported into captivate. The process was smooth until the customer asked me to change the size of the canvas. The course includes images as well as on the slides.

  The problem comes here

  1. I can chamge the size of the canvas of 1024 * 768 and 1280 * 800 in the same file? If so, how?

  2. I tried another way of doing this thing. I created the canvas with 1280 * 800 itself. Then, I went back to the old captivate file and copied all the slides and paste it into the new file. But the blades with images have problem (eg. alignment issues produced.). Is it possible to modify these images here himself in captivate so that I can move with arrow keys and mouse to solve the problems of alignment?

• Facing a problem with the keyboard arrow key behavior

  With the left/right arrow key (keyboard) I can move through files/folders in the current line only the browser window. • I am facing some problems with the installation of data protection. Please see below for details

  We use the data protection in our project.  The research that I have done in protecting data, I realized that the FDM adds the data in protected intersections to load the file that is created by FDM via the import process. The problem is that there are actions given in HFM and I get an error that says: "error: load the file cannot contain action data according to user option." I'm pretty sure that some user option (it would be great if you have an idea where I can find this user option) prevents data already present of shares to be loaded via FDM. Have faced this kind of error before? Is there a work around on this?

  The user option which is the origin of the problem is 'File Contains Data property'. You must make sure that this load option is enabled when you start loading in FDM process if the dataset that you present must contain data of shares.

  AEv.vi is a LV2G used for the reading/Generate/Init/destroy the event. Test2.VI is a main vi (we must run this vi)

  Test2.VI is used for genetate event.

  I could have called statically AEv.vi inside the Test2.vi to generate an event... but the path that comes is decided when running... (I have many live similar to AEv.vi...) .. who decided at run time...)

  The problem:

  When I run Test2.vi, it gives me the error code 1 (try running test2.VI... it gives the dialogue on the occurrence of the error)...

• Problems with the shortcut keys, suggestions?

  I have an Asus computer is a portable computer, N56VM. I have problems with my shortcut keys. I can use is no longer the fn + key that usually let me adjust the back of my bright keyboard commands, or my volume (mute, raise/lower the volume), however, my brightness on the monitor shortcuts keyboard still works, and so did my black screen key. Oh, and also, my toggle mouse shortcut is not no longer works. I was looking at the forums, and I upgraded my bios and also reinstalled my ATKPI files and still nothing. I think the problem might have to do with the mechanics of the system, but I am not sure. Any suggestions?

  + and = are allowed in URLS. You just have to URL encode like this EncodeURLForQueryString(&AttachUserFileURL) before adding them to your URL:

  -J' have a simple environment with a single Foundation Server with only the Foundation services running on it (only the basic components installed). On the same Essbase server, I installed (by default) foundation and Essbase components.
  -I am facing a problem with the configuration of the Essbase server. All steps complete with the exception of the last step: deploying web applications (APS and EAS) to the WebLogic Server.
  -FYI, I am deploying the web application to the existing domain created on the server of the Foundation. As all products must be on the same domain.
  
  
  During deployment, the WebLogic administration server reports the following error:
  
  BEA-149003
  Cannot access source application information in /opt/shared/apps/hyperion/Oracle/Middleware/EPMSystem11R1/products/Essbase/eas/server/AppServer/InstallableApps/Common/aps.ear for application "APS".
  The specified error is: there is no file of the application.
  
  
  Now the path and the above files exist on the Essbase server, but not on the server of the Foundation. So after playing with the WL administration console and reading of Sandeep post [1], I came to the conclusion that:
  1. the Essabase components must be installed on the Essbase server, but not configured.
  Now, this means that I need to install all the components on the server of the Foundation, even though I only will use to deploy the services of the Foundation which seems a little ridiculous?
  2. create a new domain on the Essbase server, so the EAS/APS will be deployed on the Essbase server - but will not be on the same domain as the other products.
