  Yes it's doable... read the documentation!   Setting up an isolated test with virtual network configuration is no different, so do it with a physical network.  In particular read Chapter 7 "Configuring network connections" in getting started with VMware Player (PDF).

  All messages have disappeared from the Inbox. The sent box is fine, but deleted from the Inbox messages do not appear in the Recycle Bin.

  A search of the Inbox for messages of size > 0 allows me to see the messages and respond to them.
  If I move a message to another folder the moved message is invisible but believes it is search.

  Deleted messages are in the trash folder, but is not visible. A search in the trash finds them.

  Messages in the search boxes reuse (response, delete), but try to delete a selected message in the search box list has no effect.

  I found a solution. I can't take credit, but I tell you that I was almost embarrassed the simplicity of the solution and the problem.
  AT & T ConnectTech technician admitted that when I could left click and select the message in a tab, it was probable that nothing was clicked in the "select to display columns" in the top right of the CT. He clicks on a selection of articles and automatically that my messages appeared.

  You can not with the free software from Adobe. Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard can be purchased for this, but it probably costs a lot more than tickets. If your friend is a good friend, ask them to print it and do not use special tickets. If they are a good friend, print and send to print.

  In the Organizer, what view do you - use in the display menu is details checked, or unchecked - t - it make a difference?

  On the view menu, select media types - are all verified?

  Menu, select hidden - files is in view - show all files audited?

  I assume you're in the media view, what happens if you select the places people or events?

  All icons except time disappeared from my system tray.  A KB (sorry, missed the number) indicated that may result by calling the Hibernate power function.   I didn't exactly, however, under Options of Panel\Power control, the presentations tab, I put "Turn off monitor" and "standby" to "after 1 hour" for a few days. "  All icons except time disappeared.

  After I restore all settings power forever, however, the icons are not returned.

  There are many posts & FAQ on restoring the volume, usually with regard to C:\WIndows\system32\sndvol.32.exe, I think they can refer in case there is no sound at all.  I have the sound and the sndvol32.exe file seems to be good and in the right place (2).

  So I think that my problem is not just the Volume icon, but there is a problem with all the icons, not just volume.

  I also saw the FAQ related to a repair of the problem on "My Network Places" icon, but they have not worked for me.

  There was also a suggestion to install the original Windows XP disc and restore the original files.  In my case, that would mean coming back to SP2.  I have SP3 disk, but I mention it only to point to how 'old', some of these files systen will do.  So, I have to ask:

  • And how about the odd updates 300 listed in my CP/Add and Remove programs?
  • Does not remove the customization settings, that I may have made in the last 4-5 years?  A horrible thought!

  I don't know if this is possible, but I'm in an environment with a single existing VM server defined in the DC form and it works correctly. I want to add a server other than VM. Can I join the existing area of the unit, create new users, but maintain banks of separate messages?

  The reason for this is that if one of the servers unit fails, we want 'move' users to the server failed for the job server by importing from the announcement that new users.

  Using the second failover server is considered but rejected.

  Certainly, you can add another server to the unit in the field and create new users on separate message stores, however using this as a 'manual failover' flying real well.

  Import of users on the other server in the unit doesn't work out of the box because the AD for users objects are "marked" as these users are associated with the first button of the unit and the 2nd box of the unit does not allow to import (i.e. a user in AD can be associated with a single server for unity in the directory). You first need to 'clean up' the users of their unit labels and then import them - this isn't the cleanest process in the world and you would have to repeat it when you've got the original server back online - not ideal at all.

  Can you talk a little about swing _why_ was rejected? It's the best way to go - it was designed for just this kind of thing and works pretty well.
