  I checked that I have the administrator rights on the source and target computers.

  I'm using the correct credentials.

  I use the Standalone converter 5.5.

  OK, so you must use local Administrator named "Administrator". Generally, the problem is that the administrator is not the real administrator until confirm you the action (when UAC is enabled). Converter uses many features that requires administrative privileges.

  For a virtual machine, it shows 'consolidation of needs', but when I try to start that, the process fails with the error 'Fault.FileTooLarge.Summary '.

  The vmdk is 2 TB, and took a snapshot that has been removed.

  Any ideas?

  What is the exact size of the virtual disk? In order to be able to take pictures, the maximum size of virtual disk is 2 032 GB (2 TB less 16 GB). Maybe the warning occurs because the snapshot creation failed! What you can try is to run the consolidation with the virtual machine off. If this does not help, thank you for posting a screenshot of the window of the data store which displays files of the VM (with sizes and timestamps).

• Installation fails with "internal error 2502.

  I have a client that is running Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and my application setup CVI-built fails with "internal error 2502.

  This installation kit has been deployed successfully on hundreds of computers with different versions of Windows, and I never saw it. No device drivers or advanced libraries - just standard execution. I use CVI 9.0.1.

  Some old problems with the Office installation, date/time settings etc. of research show very little - but I still found nothing which indicates what means this error.

  Ideas or ideas very welcome.

  You are right. For the security certificate should be identical to the host. But the smtp server is not placed under the responsibility of us. I modified the file hosts as a workaround. I can't find any biee configuration option to ignore the incompatibility.

  I have a problem running the build process on an ESXi 4.0 in my lab with VMware Studio 2.1.

  I have several faults. RestrictedVersion.summary errors, the first is:

  Also, I didn't see any known problem or a problem of compatibility in the 2.1 release notes.

  Put into service through ESXi with free ESXi license generates this error because ESX capabilities required for commissioning are not available. The evaluation of ESXi license (which ends in a given period of time) or a paid license will solve this problem.

• Agent starts, sends autodiscovery info, then just sitting inactive, no metric

  I've been running Hyperic HQ since 3.2.3 configuration with about 10 Linux and Windows servers. I've recently updated since 4.0.3 to 4.1.2. All my agents worked fine in version 4.0.3 but now, some agents are acting strange. The agent installation went well on each server. I have them associated with the server they handshaked, and everything seems good. I've done several times, so I'm confident on the installation procedure. All my agents on Red Hat/CentOS work very well. I have an agent on an Ubuntu box and two agents on Windows boxes that are acting strange. Before the upgrade, they worked very well.
  
  Now, what happens is, when I start the agent, load plugins, sends the report to Autodiscover on the server and running the automatic discovery of Runtime such as the following:

  Unless I do something to force something to appear in the log, a line like this is generally the last line, I see in the agent.log little matter how long wait. If nothing is changed, I see the changes appear in the dashboard HQ QREA window. The problem is that, at this point, the agent will just idle and never does anything else again. He does not die, he is clearly still running. If I'm doing something to the platform on HQ that causes the server to communicate with the agent, I can see something in the newspaper. As, if I define a Script Service, but give a nonexistent file name, which will take a file not found exception in the log, so I know the talks from the server to the agent.
  
  There is simply no metrics data are collected, or any other activity at all in agent.log after initial start-up or other forced activity. Headquarters shows the platform down with all the red flags. What could possibly be the cause the agent just be brain dead like that?
  
  Does anyone have any advice on how I can begin to solve this problem? I searched in the server.log also but I have no idea where to start. I don't see errors in there that jump out at me. What kinds of things in the server.log that is of interest to this problem?

  Deleting data directory does not change that a lot of things on the side server. I think that platfrom removing the server and then re-instatiating agent would do the trick. But maybe this isn't something you want to do if you want to keep the parameters collected.

  I wonder if this is a new bug due to the upgrade. Look at jira has nothing similar.

  I hope that someone from developers AC would pick this up. I don't know any direct means to update these tables. Perhaps by groovy it would be possible to collect mertic platforms failed id and call a method spesific on them. It's too long path to follow and would sound a little weird thing to do.

  Hi, I have this laptop old to repair.

  Main problem is that it starts. Display errors after all start-up:

  -#1 error - broken cdrom IDE
  -Check the system, then press F1 - ppl say it's a low cmos battery
  -File Boot.ini file is missing - is unable to repair itself, so that the CD does not work.

  Now, it looks like this. I turn on the laptop, shows the toshiba welcome screen, then theres the boot.ini of message end missing, begin on c:/windows and bam the phone keeps reseting showing again and again the same error. When I press ESC theres the message check system, then press F1 or IDE #1 - random error.

  If anyone has had this problem, Ive looked on the internet but did not get a decent answer, what to do with these cases.

  I think the case is clear: Windows may start t because the boot.ini file is missing. You would be able to repair this file or reinstall Windows, but your work isn't CD player I think you need to replace the CD/DVD drive to get rid of this error.

  Then contact an authorized service provider, or take a look on eBay for second hand parts. Maybe you can find a compatible CD/DVD player that will work.
  Then you can boot from the Windows disc and repair Windows System.

  Of course, you can also restore factory settings using the Toshiba Recovery disk, but as a result, you must work of CD/DVD drive. ;)

  Hi all

  Once the converter VMware-converter-en - 5.5.1 - 1682692 does not work, with a touch of friend uninstall the 5.5 version of Converter Standalone Client, look for the VMware converter version - 4.0.0 - 146302 and install this version to the other machine.   We encounter the following error message when you browse the dashboards / reports through OBIEE: "Error 500 - internal server of RFC 2068 Hyperion Transfer Protocol error.

  This error occurred when browsing page of a dashboard to another or they get kicked out of the session and must reconnect.

  Anyone who has experienced the same front?

  This happens to a known issue with OBIEE 11.1.1.6.8 in which the server tends to have memory leaks due to excessive use of memory by OBIPS. Then, this causes the error and users kicked out of sessions when an intensive query is executed. Fix has been upgraded to 11.1.1.12.
