Grateful for any adviceScreen Shot 2015-11-25 at 12.03.39 PM.png

Hello

I advise you to change the setting to download anywhere.

  • Failed to download from URL filtering

    Hello

Download of URL database suddenly started to fail. Connections go through the proxy, but proxy shows that the connection is there and going through fine. And it worked fine a few moments ago.

Check/var/log for possible clues, and in the var, there is a message:

ISM - SF [4309]: [4415] CloudAgent:CloudAgent [WARN] DownloadURLDBFilesOnDC: read failure of power supply during the update of the database URL. Status:-4

I couldn't find any relevant information on this error and the text, it seems that it may be the connection problem, probably should try to go without proxy. FMC has been restarted, which did not help.

Are there more written logs that may contain something more? Could there be a related bug I've not stumbled on? I can only dream about if a person of 'inside' might be the meaning of this error/status code. :)

    Hi Niko,

We have failure to download, reported by several customers yesterday morning of URL filtering and the technical team is aware of this. At the moment everything seems to be resolved, and they work on the RCA. However, we submitted the bug, and the team works on the RCA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to those who took the time to help.

Something has happened to the downloaded file - twice. Maybe it was an unreliable internet connection. The third time was the charm, and everything is fine now.

    Thank you, once again!

There are displays on internet and previous assignments on this resolution by using Terminal commands for OS X 10.5.x & 10.6.x, but these commands do NOT work in 10.7.x or 10.8.x. Make sure that Firefox is installed correctly.

Open the Firefox disk image (DMG) file and drag the Firefox program in the folder of the application on your hard drive.
You should not double-click the Firefox application to run from the disk image and drag it out of the DMG file instead.

  • Can I re - download the updates that failed to download

My downloads show that many do not have

    Hi stevepest,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         Updates failed to install?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    ·         You get the error message for updates failed?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can't pass purchased apps "not available to download from BB App World"

Well, I just don't get this one.  This problem has been irritates me for some time... the upgrade to App World V2 makes no difference.

I have an opinion on App World that a couple of my purchased apps are available updates.  I connect with my BB ID and access the App World page and click on the upgrade link.  App World tells me that the application already exists, I want to replace version 1 with version 1.1.  I hit 'yes '.  The bar and download activity starts... and a second later he tells me "[the app] is not available for download from Blackberry App World."

What happens on two of my apps.  I can download free applications and install them correct, but for some reason, the updates fail as described.  I tried to delete an application and reinstall it from scratch, but that failed too with the same error message.  The apps most definitely those there _are_ on App World...

Oh, and Yes, I did a battery [often] pull closed and open App World [also several times] as well as removing and reinstalling the App World [V1 and V2].  This behavior has persisted also leave before my last OS update.

I would of course appreciate all solutions...

Good... thanks to a tip I had on another forum, I created a new BlackBerry ID with my old password and e-mail address, as my old PayPal information.

After doing that I could download my app to the point dead and all updates seems to be well... my license and registration of data carried over the new code.

I don't know if this will fix the other problems, but it seems to have worked for this problem... it's another avenue to try before making a lot of their removal and in all cases.

RemoteUpdateManager out with the return Code (2)

I see that Adobe changed the naming convention of their files to update, by now shorten applications (complete application prior name) and I was wondering if this could be the root of the problem. FWIW - I use direct download server from Adobe to update, not an internal update server.

Y at - it an update to the version of RUM? I tried to use Packer cloud creative to see if there was a new version (which is not that I could tell).

I also asked to our admin PC check and see if they saw the same issue (which they are).

    Please advise...

Just FYI RUM has now been updated to v. 1.9.6.17

I also saw the same questions, until I updated to the latest version.

You can download the latest version in your Enterprise Console > deployment > creative cloud

I also noticed that the CC Packer does not build in this latest version (yet).

    (2) other Apps (photoshop, illustrator, inDesign) download / install OK

    Advice please

    Thank you

    Pete

For the people who sent me the same problem... THE Muse CC will not download/install

In my case it was because of a legacy version of Adobe Air (installed through CS6) which would be update or delete using the updated standard Adobe, or using the feature of panel\programs & features\uninstall microsoft\control

To resolve this problem, you need the tool of register of Mircrosoft Fixit from here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us

Run the tool of naming 'Adobe Air' as the program that could not be uninstalled... it took awhile, but finally finished uninstalling.

Then I could just install Adobe Air from the MuseCC & using standard abobe installers.

    Hope this helps

    was soon Pete
