Failed to install the latest Flash Player.

I have windows XP 32 bit and manually installed, following all the instructions, deleting first, closing xcomputer, commissioning and installation, and have no error report. My control panel shows the Flash Player installed, but the site that says that it isn't. I am extremely frustrated, because I have no problem when using Mozilla. It is only with IE 8. It happens every time, and sometimes, he moved and sometimes like today do nothing useful. How can I resolve this - I find useless Adobe help.

Hi, here are the instructions for you. Be sure to follow them. Print them if you wish.

Download and SAVE the uninstaller to your desktop:

http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Then go to this site and download and SAVE the installer for Internet Explorer on your desktop.

http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html You use the Windows - Internet Explorer - download EXE installer.

Then, download and SAVE the installer to your desktop for Firefox on the same site, use the Plugin browsers - download EXE installer.

-Right click on the avast! icon in the system tray (looks like this: but orange in color from v5). Select avast! control shields and there will be options to disable avast for 10 minutes, 1 hour, until the computer is restarted or permanently.

Disable Spybot SD IE Protector/TeaTimer:

Open Spybot > click on advanced - mode Mode click Yes > click on tools in the left pane below. > click on resident > then disable teatimer, protection on all active systems. Close spybot and reboot. TeaTimer is no longer active. I don't know if it disables these addons or not, but I would disable them there too.

Now you close all browser windows and only focus on your desktop.

Your computer, RUN the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).

RUN the Setup program for Internet Explorer and when it's over.

RUN the installer for Firefox.

Restart your computer.

Reactivate your Avast first. Then proceed as follows before activation of Spybot just in case there is a conflict.

Then return your Flash files and check the Shockwave Flash object, and make sure that it is installed and activated.

Let me know if you have any questions. I have some errands to run today, but will be on the forum for 30 minutes or more.

Thank you

  • Problems to install the latest Flash Player

    K!

My Adobe Flash Player for Mozilla Firefox has been giving me troubles in recent months, so today I decided to install a newer version on my laptop.

Following the instructions, I uninstalled the old version before you initialize the download/install the latest version of Flash Player. That, however, proves to be a mistake, because installation failed permanently until now and now I have no player to my anything.

I tried installing several times, but the process didn't even start and just left me the message "Aktionsliste non found" (list of actions not found).

I use a Fujitsu Siemens laptop with 32-bit operating system and processor Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU. Visa of Windows with Service Pack 2 is installed. So I guess the problem is not due to a deficiency in the system requirements and I also made sure that the plug-in is enabled and that another version of the player is removed from my laptop.

    Hi Laura,

Most of these installation problems is caused by anti-virus applications. Nowadays, virtually all incorporate web shields to protect you from downloading malware, shields of files to prevent you from installing a rogue pograms and other. Is the file scanner which is the most problematic, because it comes in action as soon as you run an installer of any kind. It interferes with the installation process and leads to the corruption of additional files on the line.

In the present circumstances, I suggest that you proceed as follows. First of all, turn off all antivirus shields. If you happen to use AVAST Antivirus, right click on the orange icon in the systray and choose to disable all the shields for an hour. If you use a different application to AV, look for something similar in the menus of the user. Then proceed as follows.

    1. Download the uninstall program Flash here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
    2. Close all browsers.
    3. Reset. It is important to empty the Windows registry after uninstalling something.
    4. When the system reboots to the desktop, turn off these AV shields again.
    5. Download the installer from here: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax_32bit.exe this is the installation program for Internet Explorer. When you see the prompt, choose "run" to install it immediately.
    6. If you use another browser like Firefox, Opera, Safari etc., download this one as well: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_32bit.exe when you see the fast download for this one, choose 'Save' instead and save it somewhere you can find it later.
    7. After completing the installation process, go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to check that everything went according to plan.

You might need this player as well: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ is somewhat like an improved version of Flash Player and you need to play games where you have to interact with the animation. You don't need to perform an uninstall for the program. It just download and click 'Run' in Internet Explorer when you want to install in this specific browser, or choose "Save" when you want to install it in any other browser.

  • Impossible to install the latest Flash 10.1 for Opera 10.53 player

    Hi all

Having a weird problem installing Flash Player 10.1.53.64. Flash is installed partially, differently from previous versions.

OS: Windows XP SP 3 (32 bit)
    Browser: Opera 10.53
old version of Flash player: 10.0.45.2

I tried to update my Flash Player today because of safety issues. I did as I always do, by doing as follows, after the closure of course all browsers and instant etc. email clients:

    1) download Flash uninstaller "uninstall_flash_player.exe" (md5: D049CF4ECD36EAC817D6D9025B470639) of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html?promoid=DNRTE and run it when logged in as an administrator. The uninstall program said uninstall has completed successfully. I manually checked that Flash files have been removed from c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ and c:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ records.

    2) download install Flash for browsers no - IE "install_flash_player.exe" (md5: 6E23EADBA1E84F43E5D28053A8BA27A9) of http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and run as admin. The installer says installation was successful. I checked the C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ file and found NPSWF32.dll manually and added FlashUtil10h_Plugin.exe there. Then, I checked the Opera plugin folder c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ only to discover there was no NPSWF32.dll it. Previous versions of Flash player always installed this file in the folder of the Opera plugin because otherwise it will not work.

    (3) Opera began, went to the adobe.com Flash test page. It did not work. Flash is not installed, video Flash does not work and NPSWF32.dll does not appear in the list of the plugin of the opera.

In short: install Flash installs in the folder system32\Macromed, but not in the browser plugin folder. Any ideas? Is this a bug? Thanks for the help

You can try manually to copy NPSWF32.dll to the Opera plugin folder and see if that solves the problem?

  • I have firefox 3.6.12 and every time he asks me to install the adobe flash player, sometimes to a screen that tells me that it will be installed when the firefox application conflict is closed

Once I closed firefox it will load the latest version of flash player, but this will be found in the internet software explore but will not the plu in firefox which is my favorite browser. This is why all programs requiring that send me into a loop of frustration.

There are two versions of Flash, one for Internet Explorer (ActiveX version) and the other for all other browsers, the version of the Plugin. You must install the version of the Plugin, in addition to the ActiveX - both version should appear in Add / Remove programs in Control Panel.

    1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {Ctrl + Alt + Delete, processes tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

  • Ive installed the new flash player and it will not work.

I recently had my pc infected by many viriuses. my pc has been cleaned by some of the following malwarebytes, avira and macafee. I think that iam in 32-bit windows Explorer. When I looked there is nothing after the ' # ' but it doesn't say "in the level of 128-bit encryption. What can I do?

Hi again, ok. Now since you have McAfee as a paid version, I would like to uninstall Avira or turn it off at least. The rule is to have an anti-virus program, since most of which will cause conflictions. MBAM is ok, as long as it's right on your desktop and you run it when you want.

What we will do is to uninstall the current version of Flash Player, install vs 9, then uninstall vs 9, then install the most recent Flash Player vs which is 10.1.102.64.

To do this, use the administrator account.

Go to this site and download and SAVE the program uninstaller on your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/406/kb406791.html

You page down for Solutions and under Windows in Flash Player 9 and use the Internet Explorer 1.46 MB

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

You will use the Windows, Internet Explorer download EXE to install

Once you have on your desk, using the administrator account, you CLOSE all browser windows.

    Disable McAfee & Avira

Look in your tray (area near the clock) system for instant messengers, yahoo, aol, etc and turn them off.

Your computer, run the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run the Setup from vs 9 and when you're done, restart your computer

Test your browser here and you should be able to see the Flash animation (spin) logo and the Flash Player version must be listed.

    http://www.Adobe.com/software/Flash/about/  Must vs 9

Now, you run the program to uninstall again to uninstall vs 9, when finished, restart your computer

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run Setup vs 10.1.102.64 and when finished, restart your computer.

Then test your browser and you should have now installed 10.1.102.64 vs.

You may want to print these directions to make it easier to follow.

If you have any questions, let me know.

  • Impossible to install the latest version of Flash Player for FF in my Vista system

Something really weird just happened.  I found that Foxfire had disabled my Flash drive 19,

declaring that it was obsolete and dangerous.

I went to the Adobe site and downloaded the installation to the latest version, the name of the file

is flashplayer20_a_install.exe with a file size of 1,163 MB.

But when I double-click the file, nothing happens.  I expect to have the popup with the

query to run the file, but I got nothing.  I opened the Windows Task Manager and saw no.

registration in the tab "Applications" of the installation routine, which means that it does not work.

I thought that maybe the presence of FP19 could be a problem, so I uninstalled.  Could still

do not run the installation of FP20.  So I deleted the installer downloaded from another Web site.

and this program was called flashplayer20_ha_install.exe.  Before running it, I restarted my

computer to reset everything.  I double-clicked it and still nothing.

Rummaging in my downloads folder, I found an old Installer for public Service 16.  I clicked on

on the subject and was able to install Flash Player 16.  Moreover, the size of the file for this install program

has been 17.7 MB, which is 17 times larger than installers for FP20.  With FP16 still

Currently, I again tried to install FP20 with futile results.

So that these courses install programs seem suspicious.  Can anyone shed some light on what's going on?

If adobe uses installers of heel, which means that it is a small program that goes out and gets the program. The reason for this is the download page; This page contains an option McAfee Installer, this is the reason for which they use the heels in this way, it allows them to combine this extra bloatware.

There are a few options for you to do:

    (1) perform a manual uninstall completely and re-install the kind of pain.

    (2) a clean install, if things do not seem to work, even more pain.

    (3) use a scripted uninstall, clean and re-install

To uninstall, you get the file to uninstall here:

    http://download.Macromedia.com/Get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe

Right click and run as administrator

You must then two files 1 is for Internet Explore flash and one for your Firefox Flash Player

Right click and run as administrator

If these files do not run for some reason, try a reboot and run, if they don't work out even while you might have a problem with your system, Antivirus preventing you, or a piece of malware or viruses.

IF the manual installation does not try to go here: Adobe Flash update - version /BAT browse at SourceForge.net

Download the downloadFlash_XPandUP.cmd file. (you can right-click and change to display the content.) Basically, this file will be doing the uninstall and clean install of your versions of plash player for you. Again, do a right click and run as administrator.

Judging by the fact that you were able to install the older flash player; who is installing real reall not the heel seems to indicate something blocks the execution of the stub programs.

I hope that gives you some advice
