Failed to load image

I have a program that dynamically loads from a database, the mirror images, loads then adds it to the rawChildren of the canvas, however, if there is no such thing as an image is there a way to test for the existence of the image and if it does not load an image of "model"? I have the following code:

public function imgLoader (): void
{
var context: LoaderContext = new LoaderContext();
context.checkPolicyFile = true;
This.img = new Image();
This.img.source = this.img_path;
this.img.maintainAspectRatio = true;
this.img.scaleContent = false;
this.img.autoLoad = false;
this.img.loaderContext = context;
this.img.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, handleImageLoad);
try {}
This.img.Load ();
} catch(err:*) {}
Alert.Show ("unable to load Image:" + this.img_path);
}
}

so of course, I have an event listener function that does all the fun things img once the image will load.

However, if the image does not exist, the Event.COMPLETE is never called, the test is 'successful' Flex is concerned, is there an event listener that I'm missing that is triggered if the load fails?

-Mike

It turns out that it was easier than expected...
I've added the following listener:
this.img.addEventListener (IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, handleImageError);

function handleImageError(e:IOErrorEvent):void {}
Alert.Show ("unable to load image:" + img_path);
}

and this was the alert that I expect when my path of the image fails!

  • Computer Dell laptop/windows xp, got virus.tried to fix. BAD IDEA. ERROR: DLL msgina.dll UI winlogon.exe - bad image.logon failed to load.

    Computer Dell laptop of my husband has a virus that wants you to install a fake security program. I tried to fix it. OOPS. I tried to choose an earlier date to restore your computer to and I got zapped, crashed and burned. Error is now: winlogon.exe - bad image then the msgina.dll login user interface DLL failed to load, contact admin to replace the dll or restore the original dll. I don't have a boot cd. Is there a way of "back door" to get his computer works again?

    As you know now, do a restore of the system on a severely infected machine is not a good thing. Better to save the data and do a clean installation of Windows. You can try to do it yourself, but based on your post, which I would not recommend it. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, just to be practical. It would be better to take the machine to a competent local tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place).

    If you really want to try it yourself, here's what you need to do:

    1. start the computer with Linux Livecd such as Knoppix. You are using Linux, copy the data files on an external hard drive.
    2. install Windows using the XP Dell installation CD.
    3. install all the drivers for Dell. Use the Dell Resource CD or get the drivers from the Dell advance website.
    4. switch to XP Service Pack 3 and do all the Windows updates.
    5. install a good antivirus - NOD32 (commercial), Avast or Avira (both have free versions).
    6. install all other desired programs, updated if necessary (especially if you have MS Office).
    7. analyze data saved with the antivirus before you copy it to the new clean install. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • 'Library not found or failed to load' on the other system

    Hi all

    I searched a bit on the forum and found similar problems, but not really a solution. So I'll give a try with this post:

    I have two similar computers: Windows 7, 64-bit, Labview 2011 (service pack 1) is installed.

    And the goal is to acquire images of an acquisition card BitFlow.

    BitFlow software provided for the frame grabber, which has been tested for windows 7, 64-bit and Labview 2011. With a machine (machine A), the program works very well. No problem.

    On the other machine (machine B), Labview is unable to read the supplied library: after selecting the library in the library function node call, Labview gave the error 'Could not be found or failed to load library' on the node library function call.

    Machine b - in all my knowledge - the same configuration of all software compared to a machine, so I don't know what the problem is here. The only difference is that machine B has a different computer security protocol - but it has administrator rights...

    In addition, I tried a stand-alone executable file (and the installation program) who worked on a third computer, but not on the machine B - because of the same problem.

    Does anyone have an idea what direction am I looking for the solution? Or what may be the problem? Or what I'm missing here?

    Let me know if you need any additional info.

    Best regards

    Michael

    Haverdings wrote:
    "Library could not be found or failed to load." I guess this would mean a "failed to load" error (because the library is present), but I don't know that the 'fault' it is.

    Bitflow is installed by simply copying the files on your computer. No installer is required - even though they claim. Is there a way to check if the required version of the C runtime is used?

    Thanks for the replies

    Well, then the message could be more developed and make a difference file not found explicitly and not being not able to load, if LabVIEW would make some extra humba mumba woodoo, that's exactly what Windows shows a request when he tries to load a DLL. This code error, simply said, sorry, I could not load the DLL and that could be because it does not exist, but also because I couldn't load it for other reasons, such as the missing dependencies, (a corrupted OS or anything else). Not very useful to you, and I don't know LabVIEW must try to be smarter than Windows here, trying to see if the DLL actually existed. For all it's worth can be a text file or what is not a DLL, the DLL name!

    An interesting read that actually explains the problem a little more can be found here. You see that it isn't a problem of LabVIEW but just about anyones problem faced DLLs that can go just about anywhere.

    The best way to see what your DLL dependencies, is to charge with the program of the mentioned dependencies in this viewer. He has problems it is today on Windows 7 systems, but still can give you some useful information.

    At this time, regarding the Chromebook and scanning with the integrated Web server. PDF formats are problematic. Items such as the sweep. JPG works well using the integrated Web server. To my knowledge the Chromebook side and better with their support line is addressed.

    If you have access to a Windows or Mac computer, you would be able to see that the ADF and. PDF scan in SAP works without problem.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi bh56,

    This may be due to you give a bad way while loading images using apex_epg_config.sql or apxldimg.sql.

    Reference: Re: blank page after successfully installing 4.2.0 4.2.6 apex

    In the link above thread, I explained, what is the problem with the parameter you give to the script apex_epg_config.sql and apxldimg.sql.

    Now, at APEX 5.0 during installation or during the upgrade you must use the same script apex_epg_config.

    Reference: Re: problem upgrade 5 Apex

    The documentation you follow above is for APEX 4.0, here is the documentation for APEX 5.0 in Oracle Database XE:

  • Cannot load image to applicationStorageDirectory

    Hello!

    At the start of the program, I load the data of binary images on a remote server and save them locally in my applicationStorageDirectory:

    imageFile = new File (File.applicationStorageDirectory.nativePath);

    imageFile = imageFile.resolvePath ("images /" + obj.id + extension);

    var filestream:FileStream = new FileStream();

    FileStream.Open (imageFile, FileMode.WRITE);

    filestream.writeBytes (loader.data);

    FileStream.Close ();

    later, when I need the image for display purposes, I trying to load my applicationStorageDirectory:

    = new File (File.applicationStorageDirectory.nativePath);

    file = file.resolvePath ("images /" + obj.id + extension);

    image. Load (new URLRequest (file.nativePath));

    I made an outing with two URLS, and they are identical. However, the image fails to load with error #2035.

    In the desktop version of this application I store images in and load of applicationDirectory. It works very well!

    Can anyone help?

    Judith

    I found the solution myself. If I want to load a file from the applicationStorageDirectory I can't reference with file.nativePath but file.url!

  • How to load images synchronously

    Hi all

    I want a lot of cache images locally with URLLoader and want to know those fails. I can add event listener IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR.

    A variable can be used to save the filename I want to load the last time. Then in the error handler, I know which file is not loaded correctly.

    However, as the images are loaded asynchronously, i.e. how URLLoader, the first loaded image can not at first filled. This means that the variable contains the wrong file name.

    Is there a better way to approach? I want to just connect the loads of the error.

    Kind regards

    Felix

    If you really want to load synchronously, just load image by image in sequence. In the Event.COMPLETE and image 1 IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR headphones, put an invocation to load the image 2 and so on. Therefore, you can keep the order of the images.

    Mid day Fx stopped loading images for buttons, images on Web sites, etc. Can I use other browsers on my Mac and they work fine. I have reset Fx and tried with no Add - installed add-ons. I even deleted and reinstalled. No change.

    You would need to make the change on the subject: config pref permissions.default.image page and set it to 2 to block images by default.

    A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.

    You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    • Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

    I called some sites as exceptions under content > load images automatically. The next time I open Firefox, these exceptions are not there.
    This also happens in privacy > cookies. The exceptions that I put to disappear the next time I open Firefox.
    How can I make these permanent exceptions?

    In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

    You can control and manage permissions for all areas on the Subject: authorizations page or for the current domain via the "Site identity button" (globe/lock) on the address bar and click on "More information" to open "Page Info" and go to the permissions tab.

    Sometimes, when I boot up and load Firefox, it loads without my igoogle homepage. Occasionally, it will fail to load once I've used Firefox with the igoogle homepage. It's frustrating. Have to reboot several times to get the home page to reload. When the home page is not loaded, it keeps me to use the toolbar to load email and other google tools.

    I used Firefox for years and did not have as many problems with it. When I can not load my homepage on Firefox, I usually go to Chrome or IE and it works fine. This happened for several months.

    Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    To turn on safe mode

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
    • Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

    If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox. " Linux: "Firefox/file > exit ')
