  I try to install EBS 12.1.1 on two different nodes on Redhat Linux 5. After properly installing the database on node1 (ebsdb), I started rapidwiz on node2 (ebsapps) to install the application technology. When I get to the screen where it asks "Do you want to create a new configuration or load a saved?", I chose to load a saved configuration, typied in the database connection information (ebsdb.sparkdb.com:PROD:1521) and get the following error. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I am able to ssh to ebsdb to ebsapps and vice versa, and the database and listener is in place.

  I have written some documents in InDesign CS4 over the weekend and exported inx file to work on it to work using CS3. Something I do quite often.

  When I opened and save it as a new document in CS3 and trying to change my text, I get an error message that says:

  "Failed to retrieve this file. It can be used by someone else. "

  It's crazy, because it it only my folder and is not on any network etc... etc... etc...

  We know what could cause this and how I can close it, so I can work on my file?

  This problem is known. Failed to retrieve the mappings for the server. Reason: null. We fix it.

  Just to check the parameters are collected successfully from the server. Create the project and join the server to the same. CFM open and type must identify the data sources.

  Workaround for this problem is:

  Copy orabpel - thirdparty.jar/bpel/lib and place it in the folder/custom/BpelIntegration/lib , and add this variable in intradoc.cfg of the CS (stop the content server before performing this change):

  JAVA_CLASSPATH_bpel =/custom/BpelIntegration/lib/orabpel-thirdparty.jar

  Start content server after the steps above have been completed, and then test to see if the problem persists.

• Failed to retrieve Windows Photo upward

  I backed up my HDD to an external hard drive Western Digital when my computer informed me that my hard drive was about to fail.   Then I restored my files to the new HD.  The problem is that my pictures have not been restored - the files are there, but they are empty.    I used Adobe Photoshop 2 to process the photos originally, but I don't have a copy saved this old application to replace on my new HD.    In my opinion, this is why I can't get the photos.  Can someone tell me how to restore the photos without the old software or tell me where I could find the old software for Photoshop 2?  I installed Photoshop 3, but I had never used it before, so it did not help.

  I used Windows to the top. I went through all suggestions from windows support to retrieve files from the back to the top, but all I get is the empty file folder.

  Are you facing the issue only with folders with pictures?

  You can try the following steps and check if it helps:

  a. right click on the folder and select Properties.

  b. check the size of the folder.

  If this isn't displays 0 bytes, then the folder is hidden.

  Please help me, I have installed timesten server and client on different machines in the LAN, but with the same user and group - ttadmin:ttgroup

  When I tried to connect to the server with ttisqlcs - connStr "DSN = sampleCS"

  It does not matter that they are VMs (I use between virtual machines all the time), but "Networking" of VM, of course, must be set up correctly. But if you can ping and telnet between VMS so that shouldn't be a problem.

  On the client computer, you have an entry in/etc/hosts for the client machines and the server? Even on the server? Please check that and add entries if they are not there and see if it helps. If not then we need to find the client using 'strace' to see which system call fails. Please try and after the release (or at least the last part that leads to failure).

  It was a problem with the Machine profile configuration, where I had updated the username and password and it had to remain a Virgin.

• Thunderbird is not save my password even if I continue to check the Save password box. Fails to retrieve mail when I check the box.

  Recently, I've migrated my profile of Thunderbird to a new computer. Everything works great, except that Thunderbird doesn't remember my password for the account. I am the only user on the machine, and I check only one account, so I don't want to set up a master password... I want just the program to remember my password for the e-mail account. I get the question 'Do you want to save your password?', every time I run the program... but if I check the box to do this, mail is not retrieved. (No error message, just nothing happens.) If I get the password without the box, the mail is retrieved. Even with the sending - I wonder for the time of password the first by session I have send a message. If I check the box 'Save password' send fails. If I do not check the box, sending passes.

  This has been a consistent behavior for about a month now. I'm not just randomly in the password incorrectly. It happens that way every time.

  That is what it is? Y at - it a fix for this? I want to just Thunderbird to remember my password.

  A set up sync & sync. A program removed my favorites. Uninstalled the program and tried to recover the previous synchronization. I chose the file correct sync but it tells me that it cannot process the file even if I am connected to the sync. Tried to import a HTML file of my bookmarks, I had exported before. I chose the bookmarks HTML file import. I then go to the folder with him in it. I click on the file and tell it to open. All dialogs go away and returns to the show all book mark screen.   To my last post above, I ran the utility reset Firefox, but it did not help. Then, I uninstalled the latest version of Firefox and installed a version much earlier claire back to version 17 with the same problem in it.

  Finally, I uninstalled Fire fox and all of its data and records. Then, I went to every installation directory of Firefox and deleted with what anyone left inside each of them. Then I reinstalled the latest Firefox version 32. xxxxxx and then connected to the Firefox Syn. Then loaded all bookmarks and tried again SYN However, now there were more signs of Firefox sync that I had never backed up anything at all. All files on Sync had disappeared. So I tried to import my favorites from a .json file I had saved before all these problems began. All of a sudden, he read very well and I now all of my favorites return. I am grateful that I made a backup not very long until it all started. I wasted any of very many sites.
  Moral of all this; use of each type of backup that you can to save your backups. Export to HTML and back to a .json file, then Firefox sync. Believe me, if all else fails you will be at least leave with a HTML file you can open it from any browser and actually import in some browsers.

  I tried to reinstall my PC from the recovery disk followed by countless failures in the start menu after Pc recoveres by Hibernate. After the resumption, reinstall gets it PC up to a point and then freezes, three white stripes appear horizontally on the screen. Then I need to start the process.

  I installed an older version of Windows XP on the PC and it works although I now question my wireless cards are not recognized, the mike and the camera work not etc.

  I would like to get the PC to work with Vista, you have any ideas what can cause the recovery to fail.

  BTW - the horizontal lines, I mentioned in the previous thread occurs about 2/3 of the way through the recovery - to the point where Vista will launch for the first time. The reason to say, is I don't think it's a question of monitor as XP runs ok.

  A thought - could this be the RAM?

  I created the Recovery DVD for this product and they do not seem to work. It's for Windows 8, but failed to start from the DVD. He starts the DVD and then presents a Windows 8 screen that says "Recovery - your PC needs to be repaired" with "a required device is not connected or is not accessible" and an error code of 0xc0000185 (those are zeros).   Problem with recovery disks is very simple: either it works or not. If recovery disk doesn t work you can not do anything.

  In your ad, that I did not understand how extreme recovery installation, but if you not boot the OS or start the installation of HARD drive recovery, there is a big problem.   Obviously, something is wrong with the preinstalled operating system and that you need to do is to install the operating system using Toshiba recovery image.

  First enter the BIOS settings and be sure the HARD drive is recognized correctly.
  Set the BIOS to default settings and start recovery image installation:
  Turn on the laptop and press F12 repeatedly
  When the start menu is shown recovery disc into the optical disc drive
  Press ENTER and follow the menu on the screen.

  If you will not be able to install the recovery image, it may be that the HARD drive is the troublemaker.
  Replacing the HARD drive is not a big deal, and you can exchange it only in just 10 minutes.
