  Otherwise I agree with Akuma and if you are looking for a newer version check other portable Toshiba with AMD graphic. For example, Satellite L750D has a new driver from the 05/09/11, which is version 8.812.2.2. This driver should also work on your model, because the old graphics cards are also supported.

  Please help me. I have a hp Pavilion dm1 - running Windows 7 home edition. This morning the wonderful hp Assistant prompted me to update the bios and the touchpad, I've done both and when it restarted (& since) I can't use the keyboard/touchpad. The machine works (via a usb keyboard) although I hold the power button for about 5 seconds while it used to be a single key. I'll always owe to anyone who can help me solve this problem.   Try the following.

  Close Notepad and then disconnect external devices like your USB keyboard.

  Uunplug the power adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Tap following the key ESC (using your laptops keyboard) you start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  If it works, select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Samsung told me that they do not provide the blue tooth for a Windows 7 driver for their cell phone Galaxy S5. They said that the manufacturer of the PC is responsible for this. I don't see any blue tooth of any kind device drivers provided by HP, so I think what the Samsung rep may not be correct. However, I write this post in the hopes that someone may know if there 1. is a driver and 2. where to find it. I have a HP Media Center m7050y (PX153AV) CTO Desktop PC running Windows 7 Ultimate.   Thank you for responding. I thought as well. I bought this computer a few months ago, second hand, so I thought that it did not come with Windows 7 originally.   Dell recommended running the following updates:

  3 TEAC DV - 28 s-W 12.7 tray SATA 8 x DVD - ROM Firmware, Version R.2B, A01, published on 26/07/11, recommended problem resolves under RHEL 5 and 6 of RHEL which can cause the Machine error check on PowerEdge server platforms.  Windows & Dos: http://ftp.us.dell.com/rmsd/TEAC_DV-28S-W-12-7-TRAY-SATA_A01_R309483.exe (this one is one I think will do the most good.)

• Cannot print multiple copies from Excel. Also impossible to update HP driver. The update of the Microsoft HP driver fails to install.

  Windows 7 + Office 2007 with HP 1200 LaserJet printer: unable to print multiple copies of Excel documents.  Also impossible to install the update from the HP Microsoft driver.  Windows Update indicates the updated driver available... but fails to install.  Everything was stable and works very well.  All other printing works very well (including multiple copies from other programs like Adobe etc).

  1. to narrow down on the issue, I suggest you to print several copies of a Word document or notepad.

  2. provide the error message or error code for the problem to install the updated driver, follow these steps:

  i. Click Start, in the search box, type in update

  II. click on windows Update

  III. click view update history

  IV. double-click Update failed

  3. update the printer driver to manually. Steps to update the driver:

  i. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.

  II. develop the printer and right click on the sub element and click on update driver.

• NVidia updates causing the blue screen in Windows XP.

  I have two different desktop computers running Windows XP. Both have NVidia graphics cards. I recently downloaded Microsoft updates on a computer and noticed blue screen on shut down, page non paged area error code 50. It seems to suggest a problem with the display adapter. I tried several bugs to fix, but it persists most of the time. I assumed that it was unique to this computer until I downloaded the updates on my second computer, which I hadn't used in the month. All of a sudden I wake up a blue screen that is similar to booting with similar suggestion, it is the display adapter driver. NV4_DISP.dll in this case. What I noticed about this "update" is an update which is optional for NVidia and AC97. I downloaded both, but noted that they were dated 2003. I worked my way around the blue screen when starting in safe mode and cancelled the NVidia driver for... 2006! This was the driver I had installed from the Web of NVidia site, some time ago. The AC97 driver showed also a problem in the device driver, so I rolled back and things worked. I think that Microsoft sent an update for the drivers of video card NVidia and AC97 Codec which is damaged or outdated. This is not unique to Windows XP that others seem to experience it in Windows Vista and 7. My video cards are the two NVidia, but different models, which adds credibility to my theory. Any ideas or solutions?

  1. after making back the driver, change your configuration of automatic update of the automatic for the only Notify ("notify but not...") ") setting.

  2. open IE (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT difficulty and modes and AGGRESSIVE, and then restart your computer. [1]

  3. thereafter, NEVER approve the download (or install) updates offered by Windows Update driver, just "hide". Download all the NECESSARY updated driver from the device or computer manufacturers' download pages ONLY.
