  I recently bought Adobe Acrobat Pro DC ( order number: 12152877759) for Mac. I followed the steps to download the program. When I got to the page of the serial number in the installation steps, a yellow massage appears at the top of the page with: «we are unable to validate the serial number of Adobe Acrobat.» PLS, contact Customer Service"before I get the serial number. When I entered the number sent by e-mail at the front desk, the same threshold of top massage of the page without any progress.
  

  I have tried several times to uninstall all files related acrobat, reboot the system and download the program of link Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI or X But same problem repeated itself. I also changed my Adobe account & used a new and still the same problem accrued. I have raised the issue of yesterday & had been connected with meenakshin83966505 throughout the day without any solution progress & it you end up with this massage (if you get the error message, you must Contact Customer Services.) Sign in using your Adobe ID and then select your product from the list. Then select chat option under "still need help? Contact us"). Since last night, so far I have had no response or connected with someone to help solve this problem.

  I paid US $ 450 to buy this product and can not use it to unknown and no problem supported with it!

  What are the blocker of Adobe which affects the serial number validation processes.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

  Then try to activate the CS 6 apps using the serial number, it shud work.

  I have a PC with Win 7 OS.  I bought Acrobat Pro XI for more than a year, but had problems to validate serial number, so I just kept using X Pro.  Now, I have installed PRO XI.  I could not enter its serial number.  When I try to start the program, I find that a box appears on my screen.  It contains, and I can't, I asks me to validate my serial number. Here is a picture of this box.  The drop-down list on the left does not contain Acrobat Pro XI, but, oddly enough, the label top left confirms that this box appeared in the program Acrobat Pro XI.   Very strange.  Does anyone know of any other way to validate the serial number?

  It seems that the XI Acrobat pro program you have is a version upgrade.

  Creative cloud does not use a serial number and creative cloud subscribers for not having any serial number associated with their programs.  Creative cloud subscribers use their adobe ID to activate their programs.

  Download and install the desktop creative cloud application (after signing with your adobe - the same as that used to pay for your creative cloud subscription ID), https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

  Open the office application (a shortcut will be on your desktop) > click applications, and then select the programs you want to install.

  Serial numbers are only for a specific version... you can use the number 14 of your version to install version 10

  I have a copy of Photoshop CS6 extended, that I installed it on a desktop and a laptop about 3 years ago.  I am trying to replace the old laptop with a new one.  I deactivated and removed the old laptop of Photoshop and installed successfully on the new.  It is approved and works now.

  However, I seem to not be able to save to my Adobe ID this copy of Photoshop was purchased boxed with distribution medium of DVD, without going through the download of Adobe, shaped so I have no purchase or download history associated with my identification code Adobe section "Registered products" web site says "you have not saved products.  But when I try to use 'Save an older product', it rejects my serial number as invalid (with or without a hyphen).  I get the message "Please enter a valid serial number.

  Now, I just use this serial number to install Photoshop on the new machine.  It must be valid; the installer must have checked before proceeding with the installation.  The installer asked me to connect to my Adobe ID, and her newly installed Photoshop has already activated the first time I ran it, then Setup must have also selected using my identification code Activation Adobe should not have the effect side to record the serial number of my Adobe ID?  Besides, shouldn't it have saved buying 3 years ago when I first installed it on both original machines?

  In any case, it seems that I can't register this serial number manually, nor is it automatically register during installation and authorization.  So how * can * register the SN for my Adobe ID?

  Update: problem solved.

  Sheena from Adobe raised the issue in question.  The Adobe ID of a member of the purchasing management of my business, which of course also managed buying and registered this copy had already been registered.  So I do not need to save it and cannot in any way.

  A suggestion to Adobe web site developers: If someone tries to enter a serial number that is already registered to someone else, the error message should say something like "this serial number is already registered.  What he says now is "Please enter a valid serial number" without explaining why the existing number is not valid, and it is easy to interpret this message saying that the serial number is not a good Photoshop serial number at all.  That's why I thought it was a problem to end Adobe rather than looking for someone within the organization who had already registered.

  (Yes, it would have also been nice if company internal communication told me who managed the purchase, and that they had already recorded this serial number.  But everyone is busy, and I do not have this information, then all I had to work with, it was the (confusing) error message).
