• VPN solution - 3002 to IOS

  I'm looking for comments and options for a VPN solution.  The attached diagram shows the configuration of the network and what I am trying to accomplish.

  I have a client to Site A need establish a VPN tunnel with an outside party 3^rd , located at Site B.  Traffic must be passed between hosts on Site a subnet 192.168.8.x and host subnet B Site 192.168.9.x

  Site B has a VPN 3002 hardware client to establish a tunnel with Site A

  Site A has an Internet facing router with advanced IP services IOS and a worm ASA 8.x protecting internal resources.

  The Site A customer will only allow VPN tunnels with the router, as opposed to the ASA.

  Based on this topology, how to better create a static tunnel VPN 3002 to the router and allow traffic on the route to/from the 192.168.8.x subnet to Site A and to the 192.168.9.x subnet and Site B?

  All your comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  You can configure the EasyVPN in NEM (Mode Extension network) between VPN 3002 and router IOS. This will be the only option

  supported on VPN3002 to reach the VPN tunnel between VPN3002 and router IOS.

  I googled a bit and found a few solutions with unique servers from other suppliers.

  you will need to integrate the VPN with the RSA. they will give you once the configuration of the password tokenized soft or hard token.

  Outside of RSA, there is no other choice I guess.

• Dynamic routing for VPN Failover L2L

  Can someone offer me some advice on this please?

  I have attached a simple diagram of our EXTENSIVE referral network.

  Overview

  • The firewall is ASA 5510 running 8.4 (9)
  • Basic to the Headquarters network uses OSPF
  • On ASA static routes are redistributed into OSPF
  • On ASA for VPN static routes are redistributed into OSPF with 130 metric so redistributed BGP routes are preferred
  • Basic network has a static route to 10.0.0.0/8 to Corporate WAN, which is redistributed into OSPF
  • Branch Office WAN uses BGP - routes are redistributed into OSPF
  • The branch routers using VRRP for redundancy of the IP for the default gateway of local customers.
  • Branch router main past off VRRP IP to router backup when the WAN interface is down
  • BO backup router (. 253) contains only a default route to the internet
  • In normal operation, the traffic to and from BO uses Local Branch Office WAN
  • If local BO WAN link fails, traffic to and from the BO uses IPSec VPN via public Internet

  I try to configure dynamic routing on our network for when a branch switches to the IPsec VPN. What I want to happen (not sure if it is possible) is for the ASA announce the subnet to the remote end of the VPN in OSPF to Headquarters.

  I managed to get this working using IPP, but for some reason any VPN stay up all the time when we are not in a failover scenario. This causes the ASA added the table as a static route is the remote subnet in it and do not use the announced route of OSPF from the core network. This prevents the BO customers access to the Internet. If I remove the IPP on the VPN setting, ASA learns the route to the subnet via the WAN BO - resumes normal operation.

  I have configured the metric of the static routes that get redistributed into OSPF by ASA superior to 110. This is so that the routes redistributed by the WAN BO OSPF BGP, are preferred. The idea being that when the WAN link is again available, the routing changes automatically and the site fails to WAN BO.

  I guess what I need to know is; This design is feasible, and if so where I'm going wrong?

  your ASA maintains the tunnel alive only because this path exists on ASA.  This is why you must use IP - SLA on ASA to push network taffic "10.10.10.0/24" based on the echo response, using the ALS-intellectual property

  Please look at the example below, in the example below shows that the traffic flows through the tunnel, only if the ASA cannot reach the 10.10.10.0/24 network via the internal network of HQ.

  This configuration illuminate ASA.

  Route inside 10.10.10.0 255.255.2550 10.0.0.2 track 10

  (assuming 10.0.0.2 ip peering from inside the ip address of the router to HO)

  Route outside 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 254

  (value of 254 is a more expensive route to go via IPSec tunnel and x = the bridge by default-ISP)

• I am looking for a solution Server (with Te css) for the fact that Firefox uses the system DPI settings, which makes my site look (too) big.

  My site appears much too big in firefox. And I want all browsers to view my site properly.
  I know that there are settings wihtin firefox that fix this problem. But I'm looking for a solution on server side, so that visitors to my site must not be disturbed by changing their settings.

  You may need to change your site as soon as 30 Chrome and IE 11 will also use the system DPI setting (like Firefox does now).

  Possible solution:

  • Type of topic: config in the Firefox address bar and hit the Enter key.
  • If the warning that this might void your warranty , click I'll be careful, I promised.
  • Search for layout.css.devPixelsPerPx

  

  • Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to edit its value. The default value is - 1.0 in Firefox 22 and above. Change it to 1.0 to run as in previous versions of Firefox.

  If necessary, further adjust the value of 0.1 or 0.05. Values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the elements. Use a value greater than 1.0 to increase the size.   If the web pages should always be adjusted so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint .

  In general, Apple will provide support for 5-7 years after a product is discontinued.  But they must not offer updates to the firmware at all once a product is discontinued.

  For example, the 5th generation AirPort Extreme was abandoned in June 2013. No update firmware of the product have been since then.

  With regard to the flaws of security and bugs... it isn't usually the router that is the problem... it's almost always the operating system of the computer.

  Assuming you are using Windows 7, I would suggest you follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  Step 1:

  Disconnect all external devices such as printer, USB key, HDMI enabled devices and check if the problem persists.

  Step 2:

  Disable automatic system error reboot and note down the error message you get if any.

  Step 3:

  Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

  Let us know the status of the issue in safe mode.

  Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  It can help to look at the files minidump against accidents with a debugger.

  Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?
