Fails to sync iPad Mini 2

. For three days, I was unable to sync my iPad with iTunes. It is very important that I do now, I know, I get a new iPad for Christmas and I ant to be able to transfer all the data and applications.

I plugged my iPad to the computer, and everything seems fine. I went to the music, verified content and playlists, proceeded to sync. I lost a bunch of playlists, I tried to recover. Neglecting everything, I went on the assumption that the catalog is corrupt. I returned to a previous catalog using Windows restore. Then I tried to sync.     Search in the video application. This is where it should be. ITunes is just a link to the store on the iPad, not a media player.

    Try to reset the App Store:

    Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

    Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

    Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

    so I upgraded my iPhone 5s as well as my mini iPad 2 to iOS10 today. I couldn't find any problem on my devices to date. Everything seems to be ok.     On my iPad Mini, (first generation) under settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage

    It shows that I used 11.7 GB and available 723 MB.  If I check the option of storage management, the

    total storage used by applications is total less than 1 GB.

    When I sync my iPad Mini with my Macbook (backup) synchronization page shows that the iPad has

    Used 738 MB and 11.3 GB available.  (which is more in line with the storage / app list).

    So why the difference between the used displayed rise up on the iPad and the actual amount of used storage?

    It refers to the version of iTunes on the computer. The latest version of iOS requires the latest version of iTunes, which is 12.3.3.     You have probably not a bad thing. Podcasts on Mac and iDevices seems to be totally wobbly.

    A few suggestions:

    -Check if you have iTunes set to sync all podcasts on your iPad;

    -Check that Podcasts app on iPad is set to "Limit Episodes" to most recent 5 (tentative);

    -Check that "Download episodes" Unplayed only;

    -Check that 'Remove episodes to play' is ONE.

    To sort all of this, you may need to unsubscribe, then delete it, then re - subscribe.

    Are you still having the same problems? My iPad has each exact symptom you have described. I left off the charger and let the battery drain and after reboot, it works perfectly fine again.

    Simply take one or the other - backup on iTunes or backup to iCloud. You can do both, though, to ensure that the data is safe.

    The goal of backups is to do so only when necessary, restore to a new device and be back where you were. When the iTunes backup make sure you encrypt to record all your network/email/etc. passwords.

    You may need to update the new iPad before a restore if the iOS version is earlier than is on the current iPad. You can restore an earlier backup of iOS but not the last.

    Thanks for the quick response. When I checked the creative cloud app I discovered he had corrupted - does not open. So I deleted and re-uploaded the application. When I re-installed, it told me I had not yet downloaded Photoshop or Lightroom again (even though I had been using the CC versions on subscription for the last month.) So I have downloaded creative cloud app and that solved the problem. Now the synchronization icons appeared in Lightroom and it is the synchronization of photos with my iPad. Problem solved!
