  I have a big problem with my Satellite A100-153. It does not start regularly. When the laptop is turned off and I want to start again, I can press the button and the fan will also and it seems to start but the screen remains black. I can repeat this several times.   I have ned to help. My Satellite A100 will not charge the battery. He works the power adaptor for the led indicates charging status, battery shows 1% of loading tatus information, but none does change - no loading any time. When disconnected everything just stops off like normal desktop.

  I've already put battery in and out, made upgrades to the antivir software, makes Toshiba controls, tests, but what ever he did did not any change. If there is no way for restoration of battery how to check what the problem is I have no second battery or AC I can always buy new batttery but I don't know if the old one is broken and weather new would work properly?

  I agree with the user above. The battery can be charged only up to 500 times, and after that, it must be replaced. I think it's the case now, I mean that everything works correctly on the AC adapter so I think that the battery must be the reason for this.

  By the way: you can buy a new battery to an authorized service provider. ;)

  I finally have a working tv. Except that its black and white. I used the click right-> NVIDIA Control Panel and changed the signal. I live in the Netherlands, where B/PAL is the standard. But even in trying all the different types of signals I don't get any color.

  Someone else has had this problem and solved? I downloaded the nvidia latestet drivers and I'm desperate, I bought the laptop to make it work!

  Personally, I would not recommend disassemble the laptop to clean the internal cooling fans.
  Such procedure is really complicated and I think that it s too risky for someone without any computer laptop disassembly experience.

  But not don t worry. You can clean the cooling modules without opening Notepad.
  I clean my fans for laptop with a jet of compressed air.

  These dust cleaners are very useful and you can very easily remove dust using these tools.

  Just google for vacuum dust or compressed air and you should find enough examples and offers online.

  She has the latest drivers for everything and I've even updated BIOS today to see if it would change anything.
  The funny thing is, we have the same sound card (with the latest driver from Realtek 5.10.0.5200) and in the post I mentioned, the problem came from the driver for the sound card, that was too old or something.
