  • Need a Confirmation Page after a FAX?

Never a fax "reception"? When you send a fax, there is a way to get a page letting you know where and when you sent it.

You will NOT be able to get a PAPER COPY of what you sent.

The confirmation page can be printed on the elements SENT or RECEIVED, or BOTH.

    The steps would be:

    1. go to printer settings

    2. choose REPORTS

    3. go into the FAX REPORTS

    4. power on (SENT, RECEIVED, or both) according to what fits your criteria.

On some printers, your fax settings may be available when the numeric keypad is displayed:

    1. go in the fax settings

    2. choose the FAX REPORTS

    3. choose FAX CONFIRMATION

If you have any questions please ask.

    I hope this helps.

  • Confirmation page when faxing directly from the printer, but not when fax from a computer in network

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 more network (using the wireless) all-in-One.

If I fax directly from the printer (using scanning and fax), I receive a confirmation page.

When I fax from my computer in a network (using the 'Fax - Hp Officejet Pro 8600 (network)' pilot), the status display shows 'composition', 'connection' and 'send '. However, no confirmation page is printed.

How can I set up the printer to publish one page of confirmation if the fax printer OR my computer using the wireless connection?

Thanks for your help and your time.

    Planckster

    Hi Planckster,

A report by Fax of Confirmation is an available option when sending the device itself.

When sending a fax from your PC, you can find the most recent history of fax by opening the HP software.

Click on manage the Fax setting, and click Fax history.
The screen list a report on the recent work of fax, a printed report is not an option for this task, however.

  • Fax Confirmation question

We have an Officejet Pro 8600 Premium who send pictures ith Fax Confirmations on is turned on. And seems to work when physically fax of the charger of the printer very well. But when sending faxes via the network by software HP print no confirmation. And we really need to have each sent fax print a confirmation no matter how it is sent to the printer. Is a known, issue or how we have implemented it must do what we want and the fact that it is not is expected outside the behavior? Any info would be really useful because we really need to have confirmation of our faxes.

    Thank you

    HAL

    Hi Hal,.

A fax printed confirmation email (whether with or without a picture of the first page) is available for a dax sent from the device itself, such is not available when sending a fax from the Fax HP software.

For the fax software, you can only view the software Fax log include a list and the status of the last 30 fax jobs.

To get a printed report, you will need to send the fax from the device itself. This is the way all work HP printer by its design, it is not a software problem.

Also, a feature of our last fax should also include a copy of the first page sent this Fax is received. 1. The home menu, press the arrow pointing to the right.
    2. Press the setup button.
    3. Tap preferences.
    4. Select the Date and time.

The printer does not have a way to print the image of the fax on the confirmation page.  Sorry, but not a feature on it.

I was looking at my manual, but I don't see any information on how to fax multiple pages at a time.  I have to keep the Redial and going though all this, and it will only send one page at a time.  Can anyone here tell me how more than a fax?  It is the 6700 OfficeJet and I usually use the copier part to send it.

Now when you use the scanner should the page that you want to scan facing upwards or downwards?  I'm confused on this.  Thank you for reading my post.

  • Fax multiple pages in the ADF

When you try to FAX several pages, I load in the ADF of my 6700 printer and start fax.

After that some Fax pages with success, get a printout showing ERROR 346. It also indicates that a communication error occurred during the transmission.

This doesn't seem to be a random problem, but occurs whenever I try to fax multiple pages. In addition, the same thing happens with different recipients.

I've never run into that until I started to use my 6700 printer. Previously, when you use a fax, it never happened.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello mortn99 here, I hope you enjoy your Monday

I noticed your post on the 346 error code that you receive when you send a fax to multiple pages of your 6700 JO. Here is a screenshot of the definition of the error code and a link to the Web site to interpret the error codes in the future. The suggestion is to change the speed to slow and disable the ECM which may help you!
