  Hi, I am looking to buy an all-in-one printer to replace my old printer Deskjet 710C, who has worked well with my old XP desktop, but does not work with my "new" Windows 7 laptop (I want to use an all-in-one with two machines).

  Some advice please... I've been watching two printers I like the look of, but of course I want to be absolutely sure that they are compatible with both.  This is for home use only, so I'm looking for only something relatively basic.

  The two all-in-one, I like the look of are: 3055 A Deskjet and Deskjet 2510.

  The specs. my PC are the following: my desktop using XP, SP3 and 32-bit.

  My laptop is Windows 7 and 64-bit.

  I'm not too bothered about using the all-in-one wireless device as I could wire up to two p.c. but, if it can be used with wireless, it would be an added bonus.

  I'd appreciate it really any advice on if either of these two all-each would be compatible with two p.c.., or to hear if anyone can suggest any other all-in-one's - I don't want to buy something that I can't use it with the two c.p..

  The 3055a Deskjet printer is wireless capable, but the 2510 Deskjet is not.

  Please forgive my ignorance on this subject in advance.

  I just bought a HP Envy all-in-One.  Model 23o014; Product F3E94AA #ABA.  I am running Windows 8.1.   I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

  I also bought an AOC E2470Sw monitor and want to connect it as a second monitor to the all-in-One.

  AOC monitor has a VGA (?-15-pin) connection), but also has two HDMI inputs.  I THOUGHT (with the agreement of my distracted salesman) that I could connect the two with a HDMI connector on both machines, but I get a blank on the AOC screen when I try.

  What I am doing wrong?

  The HDMI connector on the base is an entry, not an output. For a second monitor, you will need to go with a USB to video card.

  In-app music, press the "mini player" (the narrow ribbon at the bottom showing the song that is playing).  Which opens upward from the view of work full screen of the song being played - down at the bottom of this screen are icons for shuffle and repeat, press Repeat until the gray background disappears.

  You will remember to do recent changes on the computer before this problem?

  I suggest you to change the size of the icons and check if the problem persists. Follow the steps mentioned below:

  a. right click on the desktop, click view , and turn off the Auto Arrange.

  b. after above step. Right click on the desktop, click view choose on the icon size you want and check if the problem persists.

  Try to higher level.
  When you work with your laptop and the battery level is low battery and the alarm alert will appear in the taskbar, but you will be able to continue your work several minutes or connect the power running.

  I'm afraid that your laptop reaches the critical battery level and then maybe is too late for any action.
  Set the low battery level to 10% and when the notification is shown connect power adapter immediately.
  I imagine that the screen doesn't have to be out of all.

  It's a pretty good trick, considering that charmap.exe is one of the files that Windows File Protection is supposed to protect.

  Do a full disc search for charmap (without extension), making sure to look into the hidden files and system.

  If charmap.exe is not in C:\Windows\system32 (where it belongs), he probably is not in C:\Windows\system32\dllcache (where it also belongs).

  If you have a directory (which is common for systems with Windows) C:\i386 pre-installed, you should find charmap.ex_, which is a compressed version of the file.  You must use the EXPAND command from a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK) to decompress:

  Expand c:\i386\charmap.ex_ c:\windows\system32\charmap.exe
  copy c:\windows\system32\charmap.exe c:\windows\system32\dllcache

  Don't forget the space before the c:\ at two locations in two lines

  You will also find the charmap help files in C:\i386 and can expand those as well if necessary.  The expanded files should reside in C:\windows\help

  It should connect as much as the other computers with their car are on the account users are properly configured, security passwords are defined and firewall do not block.

  If the system is only yours and there is no need of local network security, enable the guest account on all computers, give them all the permissions and there will be less to worry about connection mapped, but local drive without security.

  PS Ce preceding is based on cable connections. If the connections are wireless, it's another story.

  Due to the maturity of the wireless adapter and their support through the OS, automatic connection could not occur.

  Wireless is great, but most of us try to sneak out of it the uses it was not designed for.
