Fax from Windows 7 and Scan__

How can I import the fax received Windows XP in Windows and Windows 7 scan fax.
Thank you.

Hi Volker Goercke,

Unfortunately, the Windows XP machine faxes cannot be imported in Windows7.

You can save the old fax files (.tif files) as a backup for future reference.

I received an email that appears to come from the Windows Live team and contains MSN icons.  It is said that it is the final notice about a update of 2011 and asks I answered and confirm several pieces of personal information within 2 weeks or my account will be permanently closed.  He asked that I come home from a series of letters to confirm the validity of the email.  It is said that it is because there is a change in the service.  This is spam and if so, how to report, because there certainly seems genuine, but looks very suspicious.  The sender is * address email is removed from the privacy *.

  • Download updates from Windows updates and Windows Calendar

I recently got a new laptop to Windows 8. I now have about 800 MB of installed updates. I'm stuck with Hughesnet and their ridiculous data caps. I have a Windows 7 computer that I can update at the end of each month, usually, I have 50 MB or so left each month. But there is no way I could download 800 MB during this period. Is it possible that I could download the updates automatically at night during the bonus period, or could I plan updates during this period. Free time is 2 at 08:00. Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You can disable the Windows updates.

Activate the Windows Update and install it during the bonus period. Windows do not have a function to install updates window by scheduling the task.

When I send a fax, it connects then rang several times and then says line busy. I can hear the ring tone on the line, and this isn't a busy signal. I tried a few different numbers and I get the same thing. Can anyone help?

I recently got an old PC from office and installed a copy of windows xp that we must leave a laptop that we no longer use.  He worked for a while, but now boots up to activation screen - I tried to follow the instructions by calling the license ID and the computer operator told me that the product could not be activated and I was told to go to microsoft.ga.com - this brings me to the microsoft store.  The copy of xp I am trying to activate is XP Home SP2 since 2004.  It came preinstalled on a Compaq laptop.  How can I get it to activate?

  • Installed windows 7 and windows live mail. now I want to import my messages from windows mail, and they will not matter. I really need the messages because they have a lot of important information in them.

Would be really happy for any help.  The application tells me that they have been moved to the storage area, but they are not there.

    Help.

Is your username mentioned in the tab security for storage files and all subfolders, and has 'full control '?

If these files are really empty then the transfer/import routine failed for some unknown (to me) reason.

Have you tried to copy all old messages from the Windows.old folder, put in a file in your user name for example Documents and then import from there?   It is perhaps necessary to remove to another location in the current storage folder in Windows Live Mail rather than simply delete before rerunning the import program.

Have you tried to temporarily disable your anti program virus and other security programs to see if that blocks emails appear?

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click on your drive icon / properties / tools / error checking.  First try checking not be (read-only) to see if it reports any problems file or hard drive.  If this is the case, start by checking the two boxes, in no other rerun.

  • Satellite T130 - 11 H - Downgrade from Windows XP and drivers need

I want to downgrade Satellite T130 - 11 H Windows 7 64 bit for Windows XP, can you tell me what should I go for Windows XP Professional 32-bit or 64-bit?
All of these drivers on the website are for what version?

And what are these 2 unknows devices in the Device Manager after installation all known devices?

    Thank you

    Hi serge_1,

As much as I know Windows XP 64-bit is not supported on Toshiba laptops. I've never seen these drivers for XP 64 bit was not as good because a lot of missing drivers. If Toshiba drivers are designed for XP 32 bit only, so I would choose this version if you really want Windows XP

    > And what are these 2 unknows devices in the Device Manager after installation all known devices?
If you post the vendor and device ID I can say a little more ;)

  • Re: Install Satellite P855-31V - Downgrade from Windows 7 and driver

I recently bought my first PC Toshiba laptop and after a few tries with W8, let it downgrade to the previous version, which I am owner of a valid license to the Pro edition.

I checked what wlan card I had installed (my PC "information" is below) and downloaded all of the 44 available support files.

I updated the bios to 6.50, load the values by default, changed the "secure starting" to disable and also changed the "boot mode" at the start of the csm. This allowed me to install W7.

I start to install the drivers: chipset, driver Intel, Intel Management Engine Interface, rapid storage technology driver and even more and that's when things start to get ugly--some drivers don't are not supported under W7, nvidia drivers do not recognize video card, to restart after installing some of drivers windows starts complaining and trying to fix things. A mess.

I smear the order to install it? If so, can anyone view the correct procedure? There are 44 files, some with names like 'Toshiba System Driver', 'register Patch'... I don't know when these install, as well as some other files do not have a description says.

If W7 may not work properly on this machine I'll have to upgrade W8 Pro (I need remote desktop) and will have one more time to install all the drivers, so it still takes the correct order to install drivers and utilities.

Thanks in advance for any helpful input.

All you can try is to use the Win7 drivers for old model with similar hardware platform.
The same chipset and graphics card has Satellite P850 (PSPKBE) and it was delivered with Win7.

  • Is it possible to cancel bringing messages from Windows Mail and put them in my Yahoo Mail

I sent my Yahoo Mail in Windows Mail by using the pop server. I did not understand that all emails should be without a copy. Now, I want to repeat that and return. Is there anyway that I can do this?

The only way to do it is the first set of WinMail to leave a copy of messages on the server and then passed on to yourself. Of course, all the message headers will change.

  • two of my sent files are missing from windows mail, and I am unable to trace it? Please let me know how to find the missing folder

Try searching *.eml and make sure you include hidden files and folders in the search parameters.  See also here for the Organization of store message (www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm).  You should be able to use the browser to go to the directory of sent items under the directory of local records and the actual messages will be located there.  It may be useful to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/) and make sure that everything in the folder, you saw the value. • Email from Windows 7 and Vista

I can't find my e-mail files Vista after his conversion to Windows 7. All my other files were saved successfully during the conversion, so I know that emails are there, but where?

Vista used a program by the name of Windows Mail.  This program does not exist for Windows 7.

There is an excellent program under the name of Windows Live Mail (WLM), you can get for free by downloading Windows Live Essentials http://www.filehippo.com/download_windows_live_mail/

WLM is actually based on Windows Mail, but better.  Much better.  When you start the installation of Windows Live Essentials, it will offer you the opportunity to choose which components you want.  You probably want to just mail.

If Windows Mail data on the hard drive, when you start WLM for the first time, he must find and quite automatically import all your data

Please let us know how it works for you.
