I'll be very grateful for any useful suggestions

We had the same problem using MS-CHAP-V2 and 3945 router using IOS 15.2. When you add the same combination of username/password locally it worked fine but it wasn't no of course of the solution. We have solved this problem by adding the following line in the config file:

AAA authorization network default authenticated if

This is because Windows 2000 clients require the use of a statement of authorization aaa in the router config. Maybe it was default (and therefore not shown) previous iOS releases.

    Success!

  • AnyConnect version 2.4 second host entry gets host entry invalid, please re-enter

    Hello

I have an ASA 5520, 8.21, anyconnect 2.4 running.  I have the profile on the SAA download with the customer.  I have a second ASA as a VPN server and backup, they are configured as identical as possible.

If I connect to the ASA first using the hostname "vpn1.companyx.com", everything works fine.     When I go to connect to the ASA second using the hostname "vpn2.companyx.com" on the anyconnect client, I receive the error "invalid host entry.  the xml profile test as fine, the host entries are both be resolved in dns and the system vpn2 repsonds fine using the IP address.  It seems to be a problem anyconnect...

    thoughts?

-You use a url Group on an ASA and not the other?

-You have 'StandardUser' in your profile of xml. If you create a new profile with a new name that does not have this setting work?

-If you want to make it work with "StandardUser" in your xml profile, here is an example:

    vpn.cisco.com
       vpn.cisco.com
       CSCVPNUsers

The ASA will initiate a connection to:

    https://vpn.cisco.com/CSCVPNUsers

In order for the ASA to send back the proper information, that group URL would have to exist under your tunnel-group/connection profile
    In the configuration:

    tunnel-group CSCVPNUsers webvpn-attributes
    group-url https://vpn.cisco.com/CSCVPNUsers enable

What models of power supplies I have to choose?

Power supplies, already installed on routers:

    2921: PWR-2921-51-AC

    3925: PWR-3900-AC

If I understand correctly the routers Orient correctly, I can add to 3925 3900-PWR-AC power, but 2921 support system only RPS, not secondary power supply.

Yes you are right. The 3925 is pretty cut and dry.

Below of the links for the RPS as it is a bit more complicated. Apparently, you need an adapter for the 2921 (RPS-ADAPTER-2921-51) and get the right cable for the connection with the RPS 2300.

  • Dows routers Cisco 2921 supports WIC cards?

I have trouble to install a frame relay service, because the seller sold me the WIC cards but I think that 2921 only supports cards HWIC

It seems that he has not supported and an ISR G2 2921 would accept an HWIC-2 t instead.

  • Configuration of the IPS Cisco 2921

    Hello

Is there a design guide to see how to configure a router Cisco IPS and how it should be better implemented (2921)?

    Kind regards

  • Cisco WLC 5508 password invalid? (Fixed! Thank you)

    Hi guys,.

This afternoon, I did a few tests in WLC in our network wireless company.

However, after my 3-hour test, I tried to connect new WLC by GUI and SSH. The username admin and the password doesn't work any more. In read-only and guest account did not work as well.

Is that someone has had this problem before? Is there a restriction on access to the CMT 3 hours or a day? Moreover, I do not have any password change.

    Thank you

Well well... something has changed on the WLC for this to happen.  That you were testing?  Changes in the configuration of your RADIUS and allows management or priority may cause you a problem if things are not set up right.  If that is the case, dissconnect the WLC on the network and connect to your service port or the console port and the connection.

If you are unable to open a session, here is a link for how to do a recovery of password on the WLC:

We have 15 Cisco IP phone 3905 on a network with CUCME ver 9.1. Phones record fine and received number EXT. It has tone. But we can't write another post after dialing '1' the tone cut and nothing happens.

This problem has been posted here before. https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11651601/3905-issue-making-call

Except in my case, I only use 3905 and calls cannot take place. See my sh run and debug errors and debugging ccsip attached massages ccsip. Thanks for your help.

    Hello

In my view, that the call fails because the phone of 3905 Announces g729annexB codec. could you please try to configure "voice-class codec" or a "codec G711a/G711u' command under voice register pools 1-4 and check the behavior?

  • Question about T38

I had problems get faxing T38 work and I wonder if my understanding of the Protocol is part of the question. Our scenario is:

    ITSP > SIP > CUBE 2911 > SIP > CUCM 9.1.2

    |-Port FXS (configured via MGCP) > > fax printer

Trying to fax, our CUBE replied with a "no 488 Acceptable media" in response to the T38 = picture of our ITSP message m. In my configuration of the gateway in CUCM I got disabling T38 fax relay and faxes worked. For reference, my counterpart dial our ITSP has been configured with "fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy version 0 0 hs-redundancy 0 rescue none.

My question is, has expressly used T38 fax, or I was in passthrough mode, whose performance will be unpredictable in the future? My understanding is that, with a low-end Fax as I was using, the path is:

    Fax > AUDIO > CUBE > T38 > ITSP

T38 is supposed to be supported on the fax machine? Or having 'T38 fax relay' configured on the CUBE was trying to relay the T38 message directly to the fax machine and do not get a response (which cannot as it is not an IP connection), thus generating the message 488? Is there a way I can debug this? 'call history fax' displays all 0s, so I don't think that I have correctly configured.

I'd appreciate any help possible. I don't think it would be so complex!

    Thank you

    Adam

This result seems to me. Receive the test page on the other side with complete integrity means everything is working fine.

You will need to talk to your provider of this sip profile. I don't know why anyone would want to delete the login information from the SDP. This is an important area that tells the other side where send media! Even if there is more than 1 instance of the connection field, it's alright. It must be there for the other side to treat the sdp properly.

    Jeff,

I guess that 100 & 101 voip dial peers point to a CuCM?

The destination model on the voip dial peer does not 1001 on the ERA and they must change to something like: -.

    Dial-peer voice voip 101

    voice mail Dial 100

    destination-model [12]...

    voice mail Dial 101

    destination-model [12]...

    Hope this helps,

    Craig

  • SIP message with 488 here is not Acceptable

Hello, I'm having this problem. I have read the documentation and I look in this forum for similar problems.
Seems is a Codec problem. Service provider asks a g711alaw. However, I already change the codec, transcoder configured which is register with handler calls and everything seems fine. But outgoing calls always give this error. Can someone help me?

    Thank you very much

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

It seems that your CUBE config is correct. The CUCM sends a PROMPT to provide at the beginning now. This means that you have enabled the PSG on the SIP trunk. The codec sent in the INVITATION is G711ulaw. In order to change this, go to the SIP trunk and search "PSG preferred from Codec" and replace it by default of G711ulaw, G711alaw. If all goes well, which does the trick for you.

    HTH.

    Kind regards

    Stefano.

  • Problems with SIP Trunk (an audio course)

    Hello world!

Our client is testing a new implementation of SIP with a different ISP trunk.

They have a SIP between a Cisco 2911 and ISP trunk to access the PSTN and a H323 trunk between CUCM worm 7.1.3.30000 - 1 good routing of calls to the Cisco2911 gateway.

Here you have the Cisco 2911 configuration:

    =====================

Well, we can set up incoming and outgoing calls with no problems during this test phase, but we will succeed voice entering.

We don't have voices coming out of the voice gateway.

We checked with the ISP and we see the RTP of ISPS to Cisco 2911Voice gateway traffic, but we did not see packets RTP voice to the ISP gateway.

In fact, it was not all RTP packets arriving at the voice gateway on the internal network.

    Might be a routing problem?

Internal CUCM and phones require Ip routing SIP from the ISP server access? If I understand correctly the devices internal only need to know how to get to the voice gateway Cisco2911, so it can function as a Proxy traffic and route to the SIP server?

    Thank you

In addition to the comments of Chris,

    1. There is a routing problem: IP phones should see the route to the ISP, even if they are inside a NAT.

    2. If you want that:

-Just IP phones reach the 2911 and IP of 2911 present the call to the ISP.

    -the Loopback0 bring the H323

    - And the int GigabitEth 0/0 for the SIP

    then

Configure the 2911 as a CUBE in path mode

    Use the redirection ip2ip

    Configure dspfarm on the 2911

    3 also check this:

If you have not seen all the voice gateway to ISP RTP packets

    Then

-Check if the transport of the ISP session is TCP or UDP.

    -Set up a GUY on the 2911 to check the communication between the {2911 and ISP} and {2911 and CCM}

    Kind regards

    Antra

Did I miss something in the following configs? The phones are able to register, but cannot make calls to another? Should I add to the config to be able to make calls?

Little light at the end of the tunnel?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

can you collect debug voice ccapi inout & debugging ccsip GCE message and attach the logs here please?

your provider sends A Law G711 codec in the PROMPT message, but you have configured G711 U right in the dial-peers.

can you try to fix G711 has the right dial-peers and check out them? Also make sure you have TPMS in the MRGL applied to CUCM SIP Trunk.
