FDM ERPI Pierce to EBS

Hi guys,.
11.1.1.3 worm

I am load of EBS data into Essbase using FDM and ERPI as source.

On a form of planning the extraction is enabled, but extraction is of FDM. (Extraction FDM). On navigation to a page FDM, I can't see any link to BSE.

I was expecting to see a drill to link back to the EBS, which I get when I load the data directly from ERPI.

Is it possible to drill at EBS, if I'm loading data using ERPI\FDM? Or rear drilling stops at FDM?

Any help would be appreciated to geratly.

Thank you.

Hello

This problem should have been created in a new thread. Now, it will be unfortunately less likely to be found by others.
The problem with you set 'WebService' into the adapter incorrectly.

It should be the : space not your deployment ERPi

Thank you

    Hello sirot

That you upgrade 11.1.2.2.300 for EMP 11.1.2.3 (in the existing environment [upgraded on-site]), it is called application patching EMP 11.1.2.3 on EMP 11.1.2.2

  • Is it possible to use FDM ERPI drill-through via Excel Add-in, V11

    Hello

I use FDM ERPI 11.1.2.1 to load data from Oracle eBS GL (11.5) in Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1.

The drill-through of Hyperion Planning to Oracle eBS GL by FDM ERPI is permitted through Smartview and data forms.

Do you know if it is permitted through the Excel Add-In V11?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Fanny

You cannot use the add-in classic spreadsheet (Excel) if that's what you are referring.

As indicated in the other post, it works through Smart View.

  • Charge several months with FDM ERPI

    Hello

I use FDM ERPI to load the data from the eBS planning (11.1.2.1).

Probably a very basic question, but I can see in the script of 'LOAD' in the Essbase adapter it is possible to load several months at a time.

    But how could I do?

Thanks a lot for your help

    Fanny

I don't think that the ERPI-C adapter can process several points simultaneously. Instead, you can create a simple order process which is the range of periods necessary.

  • Load the account with FDM ERPI

    Hello

Is it possible to use the reconciliation account in the Source of FDM ERPI?

I don't think but want to be sure.

I use Oracle eBS R12, FDM ERPI 11.1.2 and Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.

I have a hierarchy of GL account:
    Level 1: account
    Level 2: back
    for example:
    Income1
    Account A
    Account B
    Years2
    Account C

I would like to have a map like:

Source: Income 1; Target: 1 member
Source: Income 2; Target: Member 2

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Fanny

    Fanny,

You cannot configure ERPI to provide parents of the segment values. Mappings for each account will be the only way to do it. Wild cards can make this easier, but it will still be a fair amount of work.

  • With FDM/ERPi of Oracle Data Source incremental data loads

    Hello

I use ERPi 11.1.2.1. In the workspace, it is possible to set the option of the rule of the data load to be instant, or incremental. However, I use FDM/ERPi set to load data from Oracle GL in Essbase. Is it possible for me to put in place the FDM for the data to load incremental data rules charges? Could be a parameter in the source ERPi adapter?

Thanks for any information you could provide.

Yes, the source ERPi adapter there is an option for "Method of Load Data" that will allow you to define how the rule of the DL is run. By default, it is "FULL REFRESH" but can be changed.

    (A) connecting to the application via the workbench and the source system adapters
    (B) make a right click on the Source ERPI adapter and choose "options".

You will see an option to load method and it will be the full refresh value, choose the value of the option you want in the menu drop-down and save.

  • How to load several books in planning using FDM ERPI?

    Hello

I use FDM and ERPI 11.1.2 to load data from Oracle GL R12 to Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.

In Oracle GL, I have several books: one for each accounting entities.

    In ERPI:
-an import format is associated with a single entity accouting
-a location is associated with an import format, then with a reporting entity
-a rule of data loading is associated with a place, then with a reporting entity

In FDM, when configuring the ERPI adapter, you must enter the data load rule name that you want to use.

So: How to load data from several reporting entities (= books) in planning through FDM/ERPI?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Fanny

    Fanny,

You have no need to fill the data rule option - load adapter. By the documentation, you can also fill the places metadata integration Option n ° 1 with load rule name. This lets you use an adapter in the application of FDM; but the pull of several great books.

Of course, each book would be a separate location of the FDM.

  • FDM/ERPi 11.1.2.2 - able to load EBS translated currency?

We are currently running Hyperion 11.1.2.1 in our Production environment. We have Hyperion loaded 11.1.2.2 in our DEV environment. When we look at data load ERPi 11.1.2.2 rules, it seems that we could learn the currency translated from Oracle EBS and not only the functional currency. This would be useful for our environment. I looked through the 11.1.2.2 online documentation and it says that ERPi can only shoot the functional currency. Is this correct? If so, what is the purpose is the currency Type field in the source data ERPi load rule filter menu?

    Thank you.

  • FDM ERPI

I have a few questions about FDM with and without ERPI that I would be sincerely grateful shed some light on.

    (1) do you need ERPI to the source ERP to view transactional level details? Or can stand-alone FDM do the same? If FDM alone can do, how it would accomplish - via script integration perhaps?

    (2) should you have FDM to use ERPI? Or can we simply have ERPI that extract the data from the source, transform, and load to the EPM application targets?

    (3) when you use ERPI to load directly to the EPM application target, how this is done? Is there something similar to an FDM adapter? Or load it directly in the database back-end of the target app EMP? Or it will load via EPMA staging tables?

Thank you very much in advance for any semblance of help on this.

    1. Yes, you need ERPi or the source SAP system adapter to drill into accounting. Only certain versions of eBS, PeopleSoft and SAP are currently supported for this. Read the Readme file to app for more details on versions. A script of integration does not drilling on the source itself, just for the imported to the FDM Records.

    2. you don't need FDM to use ERPi. It also works as a stand-alone product to do functions of ETL processing / data base that FDM provides. FDM improves the features with its basic features.

    3. the answer to this depends on the type of target EMP app you have - v Classic EPMA. The last ERPi admin guide covers how it works good enough detail for both scenarios.

  • FDMEE Pierce at Ebs

    Hi team,

I did with integration with Ebs and FDMEE, and I provided the url of EBS in drilling through space. But when I try to drill at EBS since FDMEE I get the message below.

This feature is not available for this responsibility. Change the responsibilities or contact your system administrator.

Using Admin id in Hyperion and drilling of FDMEE. Please let know us what I'm missing here. I am doing this for the first time.

Thank you for everything you are supported.

It's a configuration problem in EBS.

Admin must be correctly configured responsibilities.

It has nothing to do with the EMP user but the responsibility that you have assigned to the Source of accounting entity

  • 1 source of eBS - 2 planning targets - how to divide the data?

    Hello

I use FDM ERPI to load the data of the eBS in Hyperion Planning (eBS 11.5 and EMP 11.1.2.1).

I have load data in planning of 2 databases (which are in the same application of planning), target adapters so 2 and two locations.

The two locations have the same source and the same mapping.

But some accounts must go to app1, while others must go to app2.

But no information in gl on the target application.

    How could I do?

The EPMA table or source file to see what plan enter each account is used?

And when I should exclude accounts: in the import action? in the exportToDat?

Thanks in advance for your halp, hoping it's clear...

    Fanny

    Fanny,

If you will be cutting back, you will need to make separate FDM apps for each target card - it is the only way. FDM creates the drill by definition based on the "installation Code", as some call the default adapter. There cannot be an adapter by default, so to drill at work, it can be a card in the application.

Until the FDM/Oracle solves this problem, you should not use multiple cards in one drill active FDM app.

  • FDM 11.1.2.2 FDM 11.1.2.3 or FDMEE 11.1.2.3?

    Hi all

I am very new to FDM.

We plan to perform upgradation of EMP 11.1.1.3 to EMP 11.1.2.3

We will apply the path for upgradation as epm 11.1.1.3 11.1.2.2 EMP and EMP 11.1.2.3

our current environment is EMP 11.1.1.3 on which we

HSS, EPMA, plannning, essbase, HFM and FDM,

as a new for FDM, I have reservations as part FDM & ERPi

Source = flat files & JD edwards

    Target = HFM

for the flat file, it will be FDM

and for jd edwards will be integrating ERPi

I went thought this forum for FDM upgration and now I have some doubts

[A]. how to perform upgradation of FDM of EMP epm 11.1.1.3 11.1.2.2

[B]. after upgradation of EMP 11.1.2.2 and then applied the EMP 11.1.2.3 maintenance release.

our application of FDM will work in EMP 11.1.2.3 he worked in the epm 11.1.1.3 or EMP 11.1.2.2?

[C]. it will modernize of EMP EMP 123 122 as

FDM classic 122 to FDM 123 classic?

or classical FDM 122 to 123 FDMEE?

[D] as our JD edward souce and HFM's target, will work in EMP 11.1.2.3 after upgradation or having to build from scratch.

    Hello

    B. your FDM application will work in EMP 11.1.2.3 after up gradation

    C. When are you going to apply corrective update on EMP 11.1.2.2.

It will be FDM 11.1.2.2 FDM 11.1.2.3 classic classic

    to ERPi.

It will be ERPi 11.1.2.2 to FDMEE 11.1.2.3

  • Write access is necessary GL_TRACK_DELTA_BALANCES?

Hello, I'm under FDM/ERPi version 11.1.2.2 extracting data from Oracle R12.  Our Oracle R12 GL_TRACK_DELTA_BALANCES table has only read permissions.  The data seem to shoot and charge in FDM very well, but I wonder if this will create a long-term problem.  Can someone comment on why we should change to write permissions?  Thank you much for the help!

Write access is required to allow EBS GL keep track of shipments of additional data that have been performed by ERPI. This allows only the differences between the last load for a period and a new charge for a period to be charged, rather than load the full set of data each time. If you plan to use incremental data loads then write access would be necessary.
