FDMEE check rule Performance

Hi all

Everyone knows performance issues important performer of rule sets check in 11.1.2.3.520?

Verification of the reports can develop, about 500 postings. However, the same validation in FDM took less than 30 seconds to run. In FDMEE, it is almost an hour.

There is an unresolved archived post on the forum about this. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if there is a solution. Is 11.1.2.4 faster?

Hello

has been improved in PSU 530 and 11.1.2.4

the question was how check worked by multiple connections to HFM to obtain the data.

It is certainly works much better now.

  • El Capitan - mail rules > ' perform the following Actions: "menu drop-down is hidden.

Here's the problem: after setting up the mail in El Capitan and synchronization iCloud with mail rules (the rules are still intact), I noticed a strange thing trying to adjust my Mail rules to filter emails with a few new subfolders. Rules are still in place and function (i.e. ' if one of the following conditions is met:' of > Contains > E-mail address > (+ other rules), then, "perform the following actions:' such as moving, e-mail message, icon bounce, etc."), but the top drop-down selector below him "perform the following...". "section, which in my case is generally" move message to: (name of the folder here) ", is hidden from view. It's still there, but I can't physically click top because the table/cell/div that contains this selector is compressed or not large enough to display the menu drop down. I know that this is true is because the other rules that make them several "Perform" actions... ' display the actions of second and third, but are hidden one.

This is a problem because if I add another "' move to ' action, it is in conflict with the first... but I can't delete the first action, because I can't click on it."

I realize that it is a strange... Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thank you

    Shane

  • NAC 4.7.2 NAA checks, rules and requirements

If I understand the way these work is a bit like that.

A review is something that could be considered on a device with an installed NAA.

Control really does nothing until it is coupled to a rule that will return the equivalent of a true or false value.

The rule simply shows whether or not something is consistent, but at least that there a requirement of role of the NAC will do nothing to force the reclamation or prevent pass provided access (login) authentication.

I have what I perceive as a single employee user mapping-based role, but I have 2 very different BONE Window and MAC OSx. If I create a requirement for this role and it is necessarily focused on Windows it would effectively keep MAC OSx agents access to the network?  Do I need to have a WINemployee role and a MACemployee?

    Thank you!

    Bob

    Bob,

The agent is smart enough to discern if a MAC connects and your needs are all windows, it won't check for them. If long story short, you don't need a separate role for MACs.

  • FDMEE check do not return report data

    Hi all,

The audit report is not all data.  I've recreated the FDM FDMEE classic validation rule in the section monitoring rule group.  He must give me the same results as the classical FDM, but it's not.  I don't see that the value for all to 0 lines.

    Thanks for your help.

    Daniel

We found the error, in FDMEE, he needed more dimension in the POV in the classical FDM.   For example, I had to add the motto of the entity and for a YEAR.

    It's working now,

    Thanks to you all

  • FDMEE 11.1.2.3 report Check returns empty

    Hi everyone-

A problem with our 11.1.2.3.500 FDMEE application where audit reports come back completely empty. Is not only the metadata for checking empty return rule (tiling, under title, the target accounts, rules), but the whole of the report, including the header information, which is part of the model of audit report.  If it was only the rule check empty return information I believe it was a bad game to the top of the logic of Straightedge, but I find it odd that ValidationGroup/location/category/period in the header is not returned.  Some screenshots below for reference:

    Screen Shot 2014-08-05 at 4.34.19 PM.png

Screen Shot 2014-08-05 at 4.36.35 PM.png* Note that the rule in this screenshot of the control rule simply checks to see if the POV is = 0.  As no data is loaded, it should pass.   Remove the rule has no bearing on the question.

    Some things to note:

-Default audit report has been set to 'Check the report' system, application, and user-level

-Verification rules group has been assigned to the correct location

-This has been tested this with multiple groups of rules to check and default audit reports.  This includes reducing the rule of control group to the "title" line to try to exclude a set a bad place the logic of checking rule.

-This has been tested on a test HFM application separated with the same result.

-J' have reviewed the report for the monitoring report query and I saw that he derived from the TDATACHECK table.  When you do a select * query this table SQL, there is no record of.  Found this very strange and probably the root of the problem, but not clear cause why this happens.

-Fix the complete log, but attention the next section, where I think the error is occurring (line begins on the journal 792).

  • Monitor performance and reliability of Vista not updated

    Hi all

I have a HP Pavilion dv4 Vista SP2 machine is installed. From time to time, I check the performance and reliability of my machine monitor. Recently I discovered that reliability monitor has not been updated since 17/03/2012, while performance monitor is OK. I've used various methods to overcome this problem to delete the contents of the folders PublishedData and stateData evolution of their access permissions. However, no method has been of assistance. I also tested my memory with the Memory Diagnostic tool, and if all goes well no error has been detected.
When I check the Task Scheduler RacAgent.exe, everything is OK and its State is mentioned as queued. But when I run it, nothing happens and the last Run result shows 0 x 0. Also when I run the command line RacAgent.exe nothing happens. I should mention that a few days ago the RacAgent.exe worked normally and the task manager has also shown its process for about 30 seconds and the field last result run the task scheduler has shown other useful addresses, but even at that time there, I had the same problem: reliability monitor not updated.
I really need your help and I look forward to your itinerary
    Best regards

    Hey Amir,

Thanks for asking! Looks like there could be possibly a corruption of system files or an infection. We will check by running the associated scans.

The auditor of file system (CFS) scanner to check any file system corruption. Follow the article here.

In addition, run Microsoft Safety Scanner to check any infections. Read this article for the same thing.

I hope this helps! Don't answer that if they do not help, we can seek other options.

  • Why my changes of performance parameters are not saved?

    Hello

When I change my Performance parameters and then log off or restart my computer Windows 7, my changes back to what they were. Why does this happen? How should I do?

    Thank you

    Christi

    Hi Christi,

This can happen in some scenarios where your account is a Standard account and you get the performance parameters using the following steps:

Click Start, right-click computer, click Properties, click Advanced system settings and then insert the password of a user with administrative rights. You will also notice that the user with administrative rights will have these settings changed for its own account as well. When you check your Performance parameters, some of your changes may or may not have been registered.

You can get around that by going into the Performance parameters by using a different path. The following will work:

    ·         Click Start, type adjust the appearance and performance of Windows and click on adjust the appearance and performance of Windows

    ·         Click Start, type the information tools and Performance..., click Performance Information and Tools, and then click adjust Visual effects

    ·         Click Start, right-click computer, click Properties, click on Windows experience index and then click adjust Visual effects

When you use the steps above, you will notice that you are not prompted credentials. Setting the parameters of Performance and work as expected.

  • Performance counters are missing in .blg files

    Dear all,

I installed the perfmon counter to collect the performance of my windows 2008 R2 server and I added the counter of our application to check its performance, but when I check the .blg file I see these application counters are missing. PerfMon counters for this has not saved.

Interestingly, I added my application 10 counters and out of which 3 are missing. Can anyone explain me about this.

    Thank you

    Abhishek

  • Need to check delays in update of 1000 lines using the PL/SQL procedure.

    Hi all

I'm new to PL/SQL. I need your help to build a procedure that executes the following statement and follows the time of update of 1000 rows. This is to check the performance of the database. I need to print the timestamp of start before the update and end timestamp after update. I need to do for the 1000 lines. The statement that will be used in the procedure is:

    SELECT

    'UPDATE XXAFL_MON_FACTS_F SET TASK_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (TASK_WID), 'NULL') |', EXECUTION_PLAN_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (EXECUTION_PLAN_WID), 'NULL').

    ', DETAILS_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (DETAILS_WID), 'NULL') |', SOURCE_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (SOURCE_WID), 'NULL') |', TARGET_WID = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (TARGET_WID), 'NULL').

    ', RUN_STATUS_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (RUN_STATUS_WID), 'NULL') |', SEQ_NUM =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (SEQ_NUM), 'NULL') |', NAME = "' | NVL (TO_CHAR (NAME), 'NULL').

    "', NO_POSITION =" ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (INSTANCE_NUM), e ') | " ', INSTANCE_NAME = "' | NVL (TO_CHAR (INSTANCE_NAME), 'NULL').

    "', TYPE_CD =" ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (TYPE_CD), e ') | " ', STATUS_CD = "' | NVL (TO_CHAR (STATUS_CD), e ') | " ', START_TS =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (START_TS), 'NULL').

    ', END_TS =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (END_TS), 'NULL') |', DURATION = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (DURATION), 'NULL') |', STATUS_DESC = "' | NVL (TO_CHAR (STATUS_DESC), 'NULL').

    "', DBCONN_NAME =" ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (DBCONN_NAME), e ') | " ', SUCESS_ROWS =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (SUCESS_ROWS), 'NULL').

    ', FAILED_ROWS =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (FAILED_ROWS), 'NULL') |', ERROR_CODE = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (ERROR_CODE), 'NULL') |', NUM_RETRIES =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (NUM_RETRIES), 'NULL').

    ', READ_THRUPUT =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (READ_THRUPUT), 'NULL') |', LAST_UPD = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (LAST_UPD), 'NULL') |', RUN_STEP_WID = "' | NVL (TO_CHAR (RUN_STEP_WID), 'NULL').

    "', W_INSERT_DT = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (W_INSERT_DT), 'NULL') |', W_UPDATE_DT = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (W_UPDATE_DT), 'NULL').

    ', START_DATE_WID =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (START_DATE_WID), 'NULL') |', END_DATE_WID = ' | NVL (TO_CHAR (END_DATE_WID), 'NULL') |', START_TIME =' |

    NVL (TO_CHAR (START_TIME), 'NULL') |', END_TIME =' | NVL (TO_CHAR (END_TIME), 'NULL'). "WHERE INTEGRATION_ID ="' | INTEGRATION_ID | " « ; »  OF XXAFL_MON_FACTS_F;

The above query creates instructions of update that must be executed 1000 times and the time required to update the 1000 lines should be followed.

    Thanks in advance!

    Code horribly wrong!

    Why this approach?

Dynamic SQL is almost NEVER needed in PL/SQL. And if you think it's necessary and taking into account what is displayed as being problems here, you have a 99% chance of being wrong.

This 1% where dynamic SQL is necessary, he will WITH bind variables to create shareable SQL, decrease memory requests, decrease the likelihood of a fragmented shared reel and decrease the burning CPU cycles on hard analysis.

An example below. Your approach is the 1st. One that is slower than the correct approach to 37 (x_!) ...

  • Bottleneck of performance when importing datapump

Hi, we have created a new database 12cR1 on LMOS with Linux x 86 64-bit. We are experiencing great slowness in 10-11GB data import and taking more than 3 hours. Looking at the AWR it shows high I/O waits.

AWR attached but unable to conclude the problem. Please can I ask someone to stem the problem?

    Thank you very much!

I haven't looked too closely, but I will note this:

Your sql albums and waiting is all related to import - which is not a bad thing.

You start on the cpu - that is not a bad thing, even if CPU resources are needed by the operating system to run scripts, so there could be something on the side of the BONE there to observe.

You have a lot of 'other' waiting for I/O - I'll take that as meaning the OS did a lot of things.  It makes sense for a big load.

Others may have more insight of the AWR in what Oracle can be done, but I don't think that we are not seeing clear is the resources required by the operating system to archive the redo.  Therefore, if no one else using the db when you perform this type of load, you might consider: backup, off the record of archive, load, turn the back of archiving, archive again.  You can use OS tools to check the performance in your current setup and configuration noarchivelog, and total elapsed time.  Given that the percentage of your database that processes these data compared to the full size will determine how long does take a full backup, this could be the determining factor to see if you do not want to do that.
