  I'm checking the status and version of VMware tools at the beginning of a script, but the value of guest.toolsstatus returns empty for me. I don't know what I'm missing. I tried to run 2 different servers to make sure it wasn't my powercli installation.  I intend to use an if then statement to upgrade virtual hardware once I check status and version tools. I was able to script, upgrade through VUM tools, but I would like to check these before I update. Miss me probably something simple, but I can't.

  I tried to use the exslt for all nodes and xslt 2.0 without success.

  Namespaces may be the culprit here. The test in the jdev method can produce a result, but during the execution, the xpath expression returns empty.

• Dates in SelectBox and a report querying return does not

  Hi all

  I'm fighting a bit with this one... I can see what is the problem, but the solution has me confused... (and I'm sure it's a simple...)

  APEX 4.2 on XE... The SUMMIT also has a version. Application of test/test ORACLE.COM Workspace VRS 291 page 7 connection.

  I try to query for a report based on the date of registration.

  The date on the table is of type DATE, and when the file is loaded its cargo directly from sysdate (and on the test on the APEX is simply an Insert into values of payments (ID, CREATED_DATE) (1, SYSDATE)

  I then create a selection list where I want to create a list of dates of the table, so the query is:

  Select distinct (to_char(created_date,'DD-MON-YY')) c1, c2 to_char(created_date,'DD-MON-YY') of payments

  It gives me a list of dates in the select list.

  Then I do a query on the report:

  Select

  "CREATED_DATE."

  "ID".

  of #OWNER #. PAYMENTS

  where created_date = to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY')

  to get back the date, then pull it out...

  However, there is no so...    Ive tried all the combinations of to_char, to_date, etc...

  My assumption that the to_char on the selection list select bands the value down to the element of date only to the format character and the to_date on the request he turns his back in a date format...

  On my system, I realized that the time element is a factor. If I insert the date in the system as to_date (to_char(sysdate,'DD-MON-YY'),'DD - MON - YY') then everything works... (as likely Ive undress the time element.  (Which would be OK, but I want as well to the time element for any other purpose.)

  Also, if its related or contributing to I don't know, but it seems to select on the old records of the table...  When I restart the session and select an older date, they show up to... which is a little strange...

  When I looked at the content of the table (by unloading a txt file), some records is loaded with a time and others do not... They are all however, loaded with sysdate. Here is an example... (first column is the ID... some are loaded without time. other time.)

  Hi Richard,

  Find out what I did with your application.  I changed the WHERE clause to:

  where created_date between to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY') and to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY') + .99999
  

  If I understand your condition, you select a day from the drop-down and you want to see the entries for that day.  Because you use a DATE data type, you want to check your created_date covers the full day.  You can do this in ajoutant.99999 (5 nine) to date.  It is the maximum resolution of a day without going over for the next day.  That means that you cover from 00:00:00 to 11:59:59 pm

  Does that help?  Or I read too quickly?

  I guess I have to explain that when you make an equal (=), which is the DATE must be exactly equal all the way at the same time.

  The other way to handle this is to truncate the time:

  When trunc (created_date) = to_date (: P7_SELECT_DATE, 'DD-MON-YY')

  Then both sides are identical with a time "anchored" in midnight 00:00:00

  How can I get the initial display of my interactive to have 0 rows (and quickly) reports on the initial display, so that the user can determine the lines they want without having to wait for the report view without much in the way of the filters?
  
  My reports many lines of 50-100 k with several joins of tables: so they are slow and the initial default result set is not useful for them, until they start of construction interactive filters themselves.
  
  I tried to add a default I / filter R which is never true, return 0 rows, but if I have good corrrectly, APEX will execute the sql 1, returning the default #of ranks backward, THEN that wraps like a subselect and applies to the i / R filters.   Yes, you are right.

  I assume that you already have using the paging Type as line from X to Y.

  Whenever the user do something with 'Actions', APEX IR will get updated. Thus, to create a dynamic Action that will be triggered before the refreshment of your IR, update the session state from P1_FIRSTTIME_FLAG to "n".

  This is a known problem caused by the last update of the firmware that impact on the software.

  Please follow the steps below to solve the problem:

  • Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\HP\HP Officejet Pro 8600
    Note: C: is your system directory where Windows is installed.
  • Delete the XMLFileCache folder.

  If you can't find the Application Data folder, make sure temporary game to display hidden folders:

  1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click appearance and themes, and then click Folder Options.
  3. Under the view tab, under hidden files and folders, click Show hidden folders and files.

  The problem with registry cleaners in general is that they often report "of the problems' when there is no problem.  If the user actually deletes an entry from the registry in response to such a notice, then it could well be a problem.

  Just because you have not known - again - a problem with the Ccleaner registry cleaning tool does not mean that you won't.  Because the 'cleansing' of the registry has not been shown to have an effect on the performance of the system, the risk of deleting something important makes use of stupid registry cleaners.  Read the two links in my previous post.

  As I wrote originally, the 'problem' reported by Ccleaner is probably due to his inability to properly manage the data type "REG_NONE" in the registry key.

  The way to fix this is to ignore and stop using Ccleaner registry that tells you that there is a 'problem '.
