• How long is the selection of the timeline?

  I was like a noob when such a question came to my mind.

  But it seems so normal, that it does not seem to be in the faq.

  You can get the seconds since the beginning of the timeline, when you click an image cell.

  But I want just the same information for the current selection ;-)

  Yes, you will need to do the math yourself to that one. There nothing on the timeline or the Properties window to display the duration of a selection in the timeline in images or time.

• Y at - it a keyboard shortcut for play the clips selected in the timeline panel?

  I split an audio clip in several short sections on its trajectory in the timeline panel. I can choose one of these clips divided by clicking on it, but is it then a shortcut to read only the part of the script corresponding to the selection?

  I know there are shortcuts to 'play out' and 'play' the cursor, but it would be great to be able to "play selection" as you can in audio DAWs.

  One way:

  Select the item, type ' / ' to mark the clip in and out, then Option + K to play outside.

• Feature Request: Status of the completed Build Notification

  I would find it very convenient to have a notification option (or options) to inform the user that the status of build for a project is completed.

  Sometimes when generating executables or installers - or both - the compiler can take some time depending on the size of the project.  Meanwhile I don't watch just the progress bar, but concluded that even if I left the window open to the view (closed on the side or something), it is unclear when the process is completed (the "Done" button changes to "Enabled" and that's all).

  Options to warn the user could be any number of things:

  • Beep when finished
  • Bring dialog to the front (only works if it is not already displayed)
  • Blink the window in the bar tasks as a notification (maybe)
  • Displays a modal dialog box
  • A combination of the above
  • Also possible, a check on the status of the Build dialog to receive notification or not

  Please move your request to the exchange of ideas.

• The clip selected in the timeline?

  Is there anyway to get the selected item in a calendar using ExtendScript? And also get clips/departure point (and other metadata).

  Otherwise, plan to implement? I am currently looking for a tool to 'Publish' in the first construction of a vfx pipeline and I need to be able to 'do things' on the selected clip.

  I know it's an old question, but yes you can do it.

  You can loop through a trackItemCollection and locate the isSelected() property. Returns a Boolean, if true, you can still get the trackItem, two inPoint and outPoint.

• Feature Request: Select and tag

  Hi people

  Our company often gets a lot of text into our pages.

  It would be a great time of Eve in order to select the content and then apply tags opening and closing around this text via a single keyboard shortcut.

  e, g,

  1. Select the text

  2. run the keyboard shortcut to activate an input field of the tag (with the same menu indicators used in regular tag entry).

  3. the user enters the opening tag.

  4 edge Code between tags opening / closing before and after the selected text.

  A useful addition would be the ability to add tags custom to the list that the user often uses.

• feature request - alignment of the execution of the front panel window

  I would like he's had a "pair of coordinates", marked by two positions on the Panel before which would serve the rectangle to display at the top left and bottom right positions itself for my front panel when executing. Then I wouldn't have to worry about the State of my eyes when I left edition.  I could simply mark the limits of the display and be assured that all the controls and indicators that were intended to be seen at runtime, would be visible and properly aligned with the window of the group.

• Auto re positioning of photos not selected on the timeline

  I have several pictures on my calendar that I'm trying to synchronize an audio file.  However, when I take the edge of one of the photos to do it is shorter time, the pictures below it follow along and therefore do not stay where I want in what concerns the audio.  Can we avoid the automatic repositioning?

  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

  For now I'll generalize...

  Try to press and hold the Ctrl key on the main keyboard of the computer that you take the edge of one of the photos to do it's shorter time.

• Feature Request: When resizing the layout area view the indices as "iPhone5 width", "Android Galaxy4 width", etc.

  Because I don't know it, on the top of my head, I would have to Google it and then refer back between the list and ER.  Right now, as far as I know, the only information provided is the number of pixels of the widescreen layout area is indicated in the "sovereign" at the top.

  In addition, can be useful to have advice for the different smartphone screen heights as well.

  Thanks for the comments. We will certainly keep it in the list of things to work. As a team, that we spoke on the 'signet' breakpoints or something for you help go to common formats, which may not be the points where you actually need to change something, just need to review and see.

• Basic function ideas - choose the length to export / scene duplicate / easy to select all the performance to delete within the scene

  While using character animation I just had some ideas for features which can improve the user experience, I'm sure that you already have some of them in the works, and maybe some are already here, but just in case where they are here:

  -When you export a scene be able to choose the start and end of the scene you want to export via a dialog similar to how it works with premiere pro. For now, it seems that you can export the entire scene. (You can always change the length of the scene within the editing area of scene or adjust performance thereafter, but it can reduce render times)

  -The ability to reproduce a scene by clicking right (like how you can duplicate layers in other adobe products) - this would make it easy to copy all the parameters of a scene as head, eyes gaze tilit force ect.

  -Save the project under function

  -Possibility to make animation in a button earrings (just say I put a folder name to walk sequence (1!) in photoshop, it would be cool if when I press 1 keypad it rotate between images in the folder, then I could make the character walk or other functions (you can then position tween character after going in sequels) also have the ability to set framework inbetween calendar change) (I saw a feature like this in the timeline of photoshops when working with animations)

  It is a great program with an extreme amount of potential for the animation industry!

  Yes. No doubt necessary. The AE and PR have workspace toolbar and I think this is the direction that we are heading towards as well.

  I think already works, but it's Ctrl + D / CMD + D. I'll add a feature here request lift menus contextual and running for operations like this.

  CH is a very interesting model, which is quite a bit different from the apps we all know and love. On the positive side, you can keep your history of any cancellation, even after the abandonment of the app. We * definitely * need a way to save revisions, but we will probably in the form of 'snapshots' who live within your project. For now, you can duplicate your project folder, but we recognize that this isn't a good solution in the long run (or even in the medium term).

  -Possibility to do loops run within a key

  Yay. We can do it. Look at our ' cycle layers ' and behaviors "keyboard triggers. Together, they are very powerful. The 'examples' project posted in the forum has examples of this work.

• Navigate the timeline with timecode question

  Hi all...

  I am an Avid user looking at first for some projects.  So last night I was watching a tutorial the selected tutorialist the timeline (clicked inside) and then entered a timecode, which automatically selected display timecode in this Panel, he hit then enter and the CTI jumped to timecode.

  He said that it was not necessary to select the timecode display.  There is also several times.  He was using CS5... I have CS5.5.

  It does not work for me.  It would be great if this was the case.  I like to use the mouse as little as possible.

  Does anyone have more information on this feature?  Does really?  Was it only CS5?

  If you want to enter timecode directly without clicking the timecode display, you have to use the keypad. The standard numbers above the letter keys keys will not work to enable the timecode field. You can click on it and then use the numeric keys, but the +/-and 0-9 keys themselves not to activate the direct entry field.

• Feature Request - more than a favorite

  This is a feature request.

  The function "Call Favourite" could not store more than one contact? Favorites of perhaps fifteen?

  You have the Volume Up & Down control NOT control the volume while on this screen and instead scroll through a list of several favorites.

  I also was disappointed initially I could only add a favorite. Then I discovered that you can add an application several times. In this way, you can add several favorites. The only restriction is that maximum of 9 applications (?) that you can use on the watch. actually it gives you like a max of 5 Favorites, on what's good enough for me.

• Controlling the timeline with Touch and ScrollTop: the combination of the two?

  We try to combine the two scrolling on the edge features:

  (1) scrub the timeline with scrolling (to create Parallax), and

  (2) scroll to the bottom of the page with buttons, using scrollTop

  For cleaning of the timeline, we used excellent control calendar of Tim Jaramillo with key code (found here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5058756#5058756)

  To scroll to the bottom of the page with buttons, we found excellent Heathrowe scrollTop code (here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4733382#4733382).

  We do not seem to combine these two methods in a way that works. In my example below, the control, the Timeline with Touch code works fine, but the scrollTop button code does not work.

  Does anyone know how to make a scrub of the timeline, combined with navigation buttons?

  I think in the btn1 and btn2 click Manager you have to scroll the scene rather than the HTML and body

  as

• Feature Request: Power detect what user tab selected in the view tab

  ' Twould be nice if the tab, the user has selected could be restored when a dialog with a view tab is re-presented.

  Hi, Rob.

  Use the property of 'value' of viewFactory:tab_view() with the data of 'identifier' nesting viewFactory:tab_view_item (). I just tried this and it works well. You can bind this value directly to the entry in the table of preferences, and the selection of the tab is restored to each race.

• Feature request: Save as... from the iPad to cloud Document.

  I'm looking for a way to save money... of the tablet to the document cloud.
  

  
  

  First quick background:

  I created a template on my laptop with Adobe Acrobat DC and saved this template to the Document cloud.

  -This model has text boxes to type and file boxes for quick selection.

  I then discovered the same model on my iPad.

  -So I can type in the text boxes and make selections in all deposit boxes.

  However, once I completed the template there is no save under... function, that's why my changes could not be saved to the Document cloud.

  On the bottom of the screen, there are four options - from left to right (I dunno what they are actually called):

  

  Glasses - comment - search button - button eyes Share/Transfer button

  When you click on the button to the right (square with the top arrow) there are four options:

  • Shared file
  • Link sharing Public
  • Open to...
  • Print document

  I'm looking for a fifth option: Save under...

  This feature allows you to record what you come to the new PDF format to the Document cloud.

  Finally, if this feature does not exist and I'm doing something wrong, please I need your help. If there is really no way to record under... of the tablet to the document cloud, maybe this function can be implemented in a future update.

  Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader mobile products (for example, iOS, Android, Windows Phone) do not yet support the function "Save as."

  Our product management team will receive a notification by e-mail and account of your feature request for a future version.

  Please note that there is a way to accomplish the same thing in the current version.  However, it is not as convenient as "save under".  Because it requires additional steps.

  1. Transfer the PDF original (i.e. your "template") from your laptop to your iPad using iTunes or 'Open In' iOS feature of Apple Mail.  See How to open PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat DC for iOS (iPad version).
     Your original PDF document will appear in the section "Local".
  2. Duplicate the original PDF document and rename it.  For more details, see procedure manage files in format Adobe Acrobat, DC for iOS .
  3. Open the copy (not the original).
  4. Make changes.
  5. Press the share button on the lower bar.
  6. Select 'Save Adobe Document cloud' to download on the Document cloud.

  Is this an acceptable workaround solution for now?
