  You can:

  (1) create a short path, the length of the dashboard (you can use the online tool);

  (2) in the brushes dialog, check create new brush and check model brush, defining the spacing on the length of the gap and keep Stretch Fit checked (you get a slight change of lengths); Now you have a brush to dashboard;

  (3) apply to the Dash brush for paths in question;

  (4) object > decompose the aspect to create paths separated from short simple as dashes.

• Installed application behaves differently by the path of the file

  Hi all! I have a problem regarding my application installed on another pc from "My Installer", that I have built my original labview project.

  I wanted to set up a file open/create operation, get the path of the current file of my vi, create the new folder 'report' and the new report file, whose name is composed of the date and time when it is created. With 'Get string date/time', I got the date as '25/05/2015' string and time string like '14:24:20 ', and 'find and replace the string' I have them is converted into '25052015' and "142420" everything simply by replacing "/"and":" with nothing.

  It works fine with the original vi in my pc, but with the application installed on another pc, I got error in the path, that instead of 'C:\...\report\transducer_25052015_142420.txt', I got "C:\...\report\transducer_25052015_14.24.20.txt"!  The colomns are replaced by dots!

  I have no idea why my installed application would give such error. Someone has an idea?

  PS. I tested on the difference between 'Run application path of time' and the file path by default, you can see on the image below.

  

  You can provide a format if you use the Format Date/time string.  You don't need to replace the then you do not have to worry about getting to be in the way in which the system settings.

  Just to be sure: is to line up on the grid of pixels completely off?

  Otherwise, you can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

  It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

  You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

The plugin comes with all the outbuildings grouped in a 'bin' directory, which works very well under Windows but Mac search the system path, when these programs are called. Mac users asked to install the files in/usr/bin, but now with "El Capitan", which is not possible. It also seems that the plugin cannot access anything installed in usr, even if it is in the system path.

  I found another way to do it without having to create a shell script. One of our programmers working on a lua module offered me an alternative.   Either way, it's for an interesting project called magic lantern. It is a program that runs on some models of Canon cameras. The plugin should work with a feature called double ISO. Basically it allows you to make two ISO images in square brackets which is then integrated into an HDR file in post processing. The Lightroom plugin is a front end for command line tools that do the job.
