• APEX 4.2.1.00.08, team development comments option

  Hi all

  After you create the back option in our application, we would like to have 'Send Email' feature to the breast to select the button 'submit comments '.

  After studying at Googling and the APEX Library documentation, I've not found the corresponding exact solution.

  There are options to send e-mails through the procedure of apex_email from the request page some or to enter the "team development" and respond to comments from there.

  You can get session global generator id of the package variable without papers and does not support APEX_APPLICATION.g_edit_cookie_session_id.

  Store the value of the variable at the point and use the substitution string in URL link.

  I made these changes to your example.

  Or you the hive accidentally hidden 'Basic' or one or more of the other panels in the window to develop?

  If Yes, then, right click on one of the other sections on the right side of the window of development and re - select what is missing from the menu that appears.

• 4.1.1.00.23 - Team Development Access to accounts-Apex Apex unprivileged

  Hi guys,.
  
  Today, I upgraded Apex 4.0 to 4.1.
  
  I use Express-authentication Application for my application. After the upgrade, I tested the End User accounts. I discovered, that end users (with no team-development-access privileges of account) have access to the development team.
  
  They have no button to perform a direct connection in the development of the team, but along the utilities in the sidebar that they can get access to the entire development team.
  
  Am I the only one having this problem? I don't want to develop my own authentication method...

• The Export development team

  Is it possible to export and import manufacturer data team to a workspace to another? I entered a workspace hosted Apex milestones, features and back and I would like to export and import it into a local Apex workspace. I know there are ways to export/import your Team Builder comments, but what about other Team Builder data?

• BUG: Development of team - default release returns 0 instead of null

  Probably a pretty minor but a little irritating. My apologies if this question has already been addressed - I had a search in the forum using combinations of the terms 'Team', 'Development', 'Default', 'Libération' and watched the "known issues" page on the 4.1 documentation to see if I could find any reference to it...

  Team Development-> Team Development Settings->Defaults 

  There is a list of selection called 'Liberation', which allows you to automatically filter a particular version. If you have not created a release, the displayed value is "No Default".
  
  Now, if you go later to... says:

  Team Development->To Dos 

  The interactive report filter includes a predicate "version ="0". As I not DOS with a '0' output, the "no data found" message. Remove the filter predicate displays results, although if sail you away and return, 'version = '0' ' return.
  
  I can only assume that the default for 'worthless' default is zero instead of null, which gives rise to this problem.
  
  Once again, probably fairly minor in the scheme of things, but, as I am trying to buy-in to the concept of "team development", this is the kind of thing that causes pernickerty developers to make them disappear.
  
  One of the dev team may confirm this behavior and maybe plan a fix for a time in the future (if it is indeed a bug)?

  Thanks for reporting this issue and provide details. I easily reproduced now with these steps clearly explained. I noticed a similar problem - if you have a Todo not assigned and you click on the link between 4800:3001 and 4800:3000 - you end up with one also filter invalid (assignee = "Not assigned").

  I filed Bug 13566898 for that matter. Don't be too disappointed, but I scored it to fix in the APEX 4.2 and not the next APEX 4.1.1 patch set.

  Hi Robert,.

  A workspace is associated with a single instance of Eclipse. It contains your projects and their parameters as well as global as keyboard shortcuts preferences.

  To conduct team development, you don't want to share your source code. This is done with a source code control system. To use one, you must configure a server that will store the master copy of your source (the repository) and then set up a client on each computer you want to use for development.

  CVS and Subversion are two very popular - and free control systems - source. Both fit as well into the Eclipse (and therefore Flex Builder). For more information:

• Can not connect to administer the team

  I can't connect to the feature team administer on a Mac.

  Chrome and Safari, the same thing happens - I end up getting a grey screen after typing my login. See the screencast: Adobe CC Chrome - YouTube

  I tried over and over again, but I can't!

  What is going on!?

  OK, found the problem.

  The configuration of the network on the Mac has not been set by default:

  Under system preferences > network > advanced... > hardware

  .. .the menu drop-down Configuration is set to manually, and the MTU had been changed.

  Changed the MTU to 1500 (standard) and the dropdown under Configuration is set automatically.

  Now, everything works perfectly in all browsers!

  You must edit the file of mobile provision and very sure that you check the small box next to each device that you have added. Save the new .mobileprovision on your machine, then re-upload the app the App Builder, specifying the .mobileprovision file.

  It's really easy to Miss setting the box next to these new components when you change the mobileprovision file!

• Team Dev Feedback report subscriptions send empty reports?

  In the team development environment, I created a subscription to the items of feedback report to be sent to me. He send a blank report each time. I tried to subscribe to reports of other elements in our workspace, such as:
  
  Home > Administration > monitor activity > Page by Page and Application views
  
  But they are also empty.
  
  This is expected behavior? I am a developer in this workspace, but I have access to the menus of Directors to monitor activity and dashboards, so I'm allowed to run these reports. Do I need administrative access?

  Hi, stew,

  Thanks for reporting the issue. This is a bug that the subscription sends a blank report. I created a bug to get fixed in the next version of the APEX. To work around the problem, you can save the report as your private report and pay for a subscription to this topic. It will send the subscription with the data in the report.

• APEXExport - use of expOriginalIds

  The APEXExport class provided with the distribution in the command line utilities folder has an expOriginalIds option as described in the usage below. I think that this was introduced with version 4.x.

  I'm not sure that the point of this option and why it was added. I exported an application with and without this option and the generated fXXX.sql file is identical.

  Can be one of the APEX team comment on why this was added and how to use it effectively?

  You are right, that the IMPORT_ * columns contain relevant data. When you import an application (and copy is essentially clob + import-export), APEX still arouses a shift that he added to the component ID. We have now stored in the application and avoid export again if you use this parameter.

  There were several changes to the 5.0 format export for ease of comparison, it was a single one of them. Export files are also smaller (about 60% of export 4.2) and not have these seemingly random line breaks in long code of report and the process. Finally, we want to provide a GUI for diff and merging of applications, but it will still take time. In the meantime, these changes should simplify it for customers to change control. Note that we do not support merge or make changes to the export in general files. Export files are PL/SQL code, but the API are undocumented and too bad can happen here. The only diff can be useful, however. For example, QA can see what has changed in an application and needs special tests when they the absorption of development. Developers can use the diff for code reviews. They might also want to make a copy of an application for an experience. The diff to the original later shows what has changed and what should be merged back. It is a simple tool. How you make use of it depends on you are the development and deployment process.
