File copy operation

I was wondering how do you file copy operation?

I have a file in my assets, it s a folder image file, and I want to just copy it into the shared folder, but I can´t to achieve this.

QFile::copy ("assets:///images/image.jpg", "file:///accounts/1000/shared/camera/image.jpg");

Should I first?

Kind of stuck here

Thank you!

The prefix of the correct URL is active: / / /, not assets:.

But QFile is not a class of Cascades and perhaps do not understand this prefix at all.

Try:
QString from = QDir::currentPath() + "/ app/native/assets/images/image.jpg";
QString = QDir::homePath() + '... / shared/camera/image.jpg ';
QFile::copy (from, to);

Also access_shared permission must be paid bar - descriptor.xml

UPD:

Try logging & values and verify that files with these names actually exist on the device. If the roads are bad, adjust them accordingly. Device Filesystem Navigator in Momentics can be used for this.

  • A Windows Explorer copy operation check after copying?

A Windows Explorer copy operation check after copying?  I know that this should be an easy question to answer and I should already know the answer, but I can't find any info that confirms or not copy files and folders with Windows Explorer checks the copy after copying.

I want to copy the contents of my old memory stick in my new and I want to make sure that all files and folders have made the transfer before their deletion on the old stick.

I guess I could use the command line COPY or XCOPY between devices with the /V to check the switch.  I don't see that ROBOCOPY has a switch to check.

    Suggestions?

There is no real way to verify with certainty that copies has been made correctly and that the copied files are all accessible, guaranteed the same as original, uncorrupted and otherwise to work.  Here is information on the switch/v:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126457/en-us.  The BACK FC command (from the command prompt) is a better way to comparehttp://www.easydos.com/fc.html (or even the model commandhttp://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/command_line/command_line_comp.htm which is not as good as the FC command but not yet a comparison, but is not yet perfect (and it makes the whole process much longer and requires much more effort).  It is very unlikely that all copied very well - but there is no real control procedures which will ENSURE everything worked properly and that all the files can be opened and worked with.  The only way to be absolutely sure is actually check each file individually (and again, the new stick could develop the corruption of its own and damage one or more of the files even after you have confirmed it - it doesn't happen often, but it happens).  It's the nature of computers and storage devices.  If you are concerned, and then also copy the old stick on your computer in a special folder (I do with mine, just in case and I also back up this folder so it is even more protected).  Copies of chances of two (or three) is damaged or having problems are even more remote, and you have a backup (or two) in case something happens on the key (as you drop down a sewer or it gets crushed by a car or is exposed to a strong magnetic field that he wipes clean you'll just lose it or any number of other possible problems).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Files copied to external devices (USB/PHONE/CD-ROM) damaged when displayed

Computer desktop running W7 SP1 with 64-bit system.  Files copied from the desktop to external devices are damaged when displayed.  Files can be JPEGs (photos) and or (e, g. XLS) data files.   Similar files copied from a laptop under W7 Service Pack One with a 32-bit system correctly screen.  Errors occur on the USB ports and CD-ROM drives used to copy the data.  This is potentially a problem of HD or something related to the operating system?

    Hi David,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

As you mentioned that the files that you copy from desktop to external devices are damaged when displayed.

This issue would have occurred due to a virus on your computer.

I need some information to move forward.

    1. That you get an message\code error when you try to access these files?

Maybe your computer got infected with a virus.

So I suggest you view the Microsoft Help article and try the steps to find out if your system has a virus.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/does-computer-have-virus#1TC=Windows-7

If you find that your computer has a virus please refer to the link below and follow the steps on how to remove computer virus.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/how-remove-computer-virus#how-remove-computer-virus=Windows-7

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I hope this helps. Please let us know the status of the updates of your question. We will be happy to help you further.

  • Very slow file copy speeds

    Hello

Recently, I myself have built a new PC and am currently under Windows 8 Pro about this. I had a problem with copying files between spaces of storage/drives on the PC. Whenever I start a file copy/move operation, the speed starts usually at a respectable speed (ie. 40 - 50 MB/s) and then quickly descends and hovers somewhere between 50 Kbps - 800 KB/s, sometimes up to 0 KB/s for a few minutes. Try to copy a large file (ie. 10 GB) takes a few hours/days where on all my other machines it would normally take a few minutes. I tried to use Teracopy to see if it could work around the problem, but it seems to have the same problem. If I transfer a file from my laptop to the computer over the network (leave the laptop to control transfers) he will sit at a constant 5-8 MB/s well. Even less than ideal but much faster than what he does internally. I have also updated the bios on my M/B to the latest version just to rule out it as a problem does not.
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on this problem and help me figure out what causes the congestion. If it helps the machine is an i5 3570 k, Asrock Extreme 4 M/B, 16 GB of DDR3 ram and a Gigabyte 7950 GPU. I have also several HARD drives more a 830 SSD from Samsung for the system drive.
If anyone can help me with this problem I would be very happy!
    Thank you!
    Chris

Sorry guys for not not getting back to this sentence. I managed to solve my problem.

I thought I would test all HARD drives in the storage space and running a benchmark on them to see if they are any ball game. It turns out that one of them was not. Its read/write speeds were about 1% of what all other players received.
So I think problem solved... FAKE! My storage pool was divided into several spaces more that contains media files on single spaces more personal files and photos etc on two way mirrors spaces. It turns out that you can't remove just a drive from the pool as you can in WHSv1 if there is single spaces in the pool. I ended up having to save all my data on another PC (fortunately I do anyway!), remove all the spaces of the pool and then he'd let me remove the drive from the pool. After that, I could finally rebuild all the spaces and then copy all the data back on.
If MS wants this technology to be taken seriously, they NEED to implement a way to replace failed or upgrade to larger without records to delete all the data, or it is next to useless.
I hope this could help someone...

  • Help me create processing copy operation

    Legends of dear,

I'm a newbie to creating BPEL processes. I have an obligation to create a processing activity in the BPEL process.

I need to create the xsl file to it that performs the copy operation. Please give

If you have the input message and output message and you want to use xslt for a mapping between a message and another?  If this is the case, look under the Panel components in JDeveloper (right side) when the BPEL is opened.

1 the Panel components > Oracle Extensions > transform (this drag your BPEL)

2 al ' click the icon Source + and add the varaible of entry (or you need to get the data from)

3 target Variable should be the variable that contains the message you want to create.  (Perhaps rename the appropriate somethig file)

    4. click on OK

    5. the xsl language is open and you can then map (by dragging) one value to another, etc.

There are many good tutorials and beginner guides out there.

  • FTP .txt file copied correctly the cRio

I use the 'FTP Get File.vi"to retrieve a .txt file of my CRio, which is then copied on my host.  The file is a delimited data tab.  The file copied all the data a except that the copy has a blank line between each set of data.  These additional lines take me to read the incorrect lines when the file is read in my program later with the "reading a spreadsheet file.  These additional lines come  I checked the original on the cRio file transfer via MAX and these lines do not exist.  Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?  Thank you

If you look at the entries for the File.vi FTP Get, you will notice that there is one that says binary:

By default, this is false, which means that it copies the data in an ASCII format.  Try a real constant of wiring to this entry.  It's the need for VxWorks and Windows use different end of windowing.  This difference is probably the reason that it is adding lines to it.

  • Can not read the word file copied as a shortcut on a disc

Format microsoft word copied as a shocut on a disk is not able to be read. An error message appears that the network connection or the driver that the shortcut refers to is unavailable.

Please excuse my rudeness and gaiety that, but everything that you copied is the shortcut, not the file. If you attach the drive to your PC, it will find the file because the shortcut will direct you to the source file, but if you try to play the file on another PC the source isn't there.

If you do not know where the file is stored pass on the original PC, right click the shortcut and go to properties and it displays the path of the target, because it is a Word file, the entire file is probably in the Documents. In the same box, you should be able to target location or find to open the file. When you locate the file copy on the external drive.

  • Copy-paste/Clipboard bug in Windows 7 if the target is not open before the copy operation

Copy-paste/Clipboard bug in Windows 7 if the target is not open before the copy operation

Behavior of copy - paste doesn't seem to work properly in Win7.

I just migrated to a new machine of Windows 7 with new Office 2010 installed where I performed tests on the problem.

If I copy the text to the Clipboard from an application open MS (for example Excel, but also other programs MS like windows Explorer, internet Explorer, etc.), and then open a fresh word (one instance open) document and paste the text, it appears as an oval-shaped blob image.

Similarly the same problem when I subsequently open apps package and try to make a hem

    The problem does not arise

    1. If the fresh Word document is already open before doing the copy operation

    2. If another document is already open before doing the copy operation

    3. If the copy on an Excel cell (for example) make it, stick first to Excel, and then open a fresh Word document (single instance) and paste to that

It is not just Word. Other target applications get the unwanted copy if they are open between the copy and paste.

This bug is not present in XP.

    Thank you very much.

OK, it's more clear now. It is Office 2010 which trashes the Clipboard when the first instance of a program Office 2010 is open (well, I tried only Excel and Word).

Scenario 1: Open Excel, write a few essays in a cell, copier, copy to the Clipboard, open the new Word document, paste that and the oval blob error occurs

Scenario 2: Open Word, write a few characters test, copier, copy to the Clipboard, open new worksheet Excel, paste that and the oval blob error occurs

Scenario 3: Open Word, write a few test characters, copy to the Clipboard, close the word document, open it again, dough one and the oval blob error occurs

Scenario 4: Open Word, write a few characters test, copy to the Clipboard, open another document, paste and no error occurs

Scenario 5: With Excel and Word open, first cut an and stick to the others - works fine

Conclusion: the windows clipboard is always corrupted when the first instance of an Office application is opened.

    Kind regards

    People,

Hello. I use VM Player 3. The OS is Windows 7 and VM is Windows Server 2003.

I copy a 22GB file "MyAccount" of VM-W2K3 to Host Win7 because hard disk in Win 7 host have 25 GB. In the copy of the file, a message appears as below:

I click the button CANCEL. But the file has not disappeared. The copy of the incomplete file is still in the machine virtual and busy 22 GB of disk space in W2K3 VM or host wind 7.

    My question is:

How to remove the file copy unfinished "MyAccount" W2K3 VM or host Win7?

    Thank you.

    People,

Hello. I found the 22GB "myfoder" file in the directory VMwarDnD on Windows 7 computer host computer. When copy us files from VM to the host, they go to this directory first and then go to the desktop. I deleted a lot of files in this directory to get the amount of disk space.

  • Single file copy takes 15 mins - help!

I have a folder containing 40 000 images on an external hard drive. I'm trying to divide to a more reasonable size.

However, copy just a single frame (around 100-200kb) from here on in a new empty folder on the same hard drive takes more than 15 minutes. "" Copy 500 takes about 90 minutes. During this operation, Finder uses 100% CPU all the time.

I tried to use a 3rd party folder Division app to speed up the process, but it hung just try to divide the file, using 100% + CPU all the time as well.

I tried to do it for more than a week several times, each time the same result. Even just open the large file to display the images takes about 20 minutes, Finder on 100% of the CPU all the time.

Can I do to solve this problem?

What kind of Mac are automatically using, and what are its characteristics?

How much hard drive space is left on the hard disk internal to the Mac?

What size of GBs is the images folder?

Forget using a third person about OS X is quite able to do on its own, but not if your Mac has other issues.

  • Cannot use the files copied from Windows 8/7/Vista in windows XP.

Always there are people who use Windows Xp, the problem is that when I copy the files in my USB and use it in my friends house, then Windows XP said 'pen drive not formatted ".

How is the "pen drive" formatted - with what the specific OS file system?

This is more likely to be a file system - do not operating system (although related, not as much as you might think)-problem.  Another possibility is a problem hardware or bad driver on the machine Windows XP itself.  It could also be, although rare, an incompatible 'USB key '.

What is the 'pen drive' is formatted with the file system is essentially - the first question to ask.  Then - if I were you - I everything on the 'pen drive' copy on a computer which can be read - if committed to the machine more common denominator (in this case the Windows XP machine) you will use and FORMAT this 'pen drive' using this machine.  One of the few possible things will happen no doubt...

    (1) you'll find you format it with a version of NTFS that will work in all areas - all the machines that you can use with Windows XP or more on them.  Then this problem will disappear.

    (2) you will find there * is * something wrong with the Windows XP specific in question and this machine is not a problem easily solved this and your "pen drive" probably will work on someone elses machine Windows XP very well as it existed before.

    (3) you will end up with a FAT32 formatted "pen drive" that should work on most any system - as long as you don't need to transfer * really * large individual files.

  • Pavilion laptop g7 Image Recovery file copy fails

    Material: G-7 HP laptop

    Operating system: Windows 8

I bought a laptop Pavilion g7 in December 2012.  The 1 TB HARD disk provided with the laptop started to go bad on me.  After several attempts to "self-repair system" (which didn't) I bought a HD 1 TB Seagate SSHD replacement.  Given that I had no Windows 8 recovery disks, I contacted HP, paid for and sent them to me.

So now I have a new SSHD, new W8 recovery discs and my laptop.  I replaced the HD and the recovery process according to the instructions of the paper that came with the disc.

4 percent (in the "Copying files needed for the recovery of the phase of hard drive"), I get an error message:

    Reducer (the error message title)

    Copy the file fails

    From: D:/PRELOAD/votes.14. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

    To: C:/RM/Image/votes.14. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

    Press OK to retry.

Obviously since I post this topic simply by pressing "OK to retry" did not work.  I turned off the laptop computer and restarted the process of recovery.  I had the same error at the same point above.

I've read a few other BBs HP and see what people have done this experiment with various laptops, W7 and W8, posted the same question and had useful people respond by posting links and possible corrections.  I clicked on the links, but see not all what actually helps me 1) explain why I get this error message. and (2) what should I do to fix it.

Appreciate any help anyone can provide, but please break it down Barney style as I am not a computer person.  Seriously, don't joke not on that - I'm weak in terms of technology.

    I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

    Hello

    The first thing I want you to do is make sure the hard drive is working to do this, follow these steps;

    1 turn on the computer

    2. Select f2 for system diagnostics

    3. Select check disk hard, fast

What is the result of this test?

If this test passes means that it is likley to be the CD, I answered several questions like this one, where in fact the disks are corrupt so my Adviser is if your drive hard test passes contact HP and ask them to send a new set of replacement drives for unfortunately it seems problem common were disks do not work.

  • Corruption in large file copy to USB - Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1

I have seen other people have reported this problem, but I have not found an answer.

When I copy large files (1 GB +) from one hard disk to another (connected to the same computer), and the destination hard disk is on a port USB3 (also maybe USB2), sometimes the file is damaged somewhere towards the end.  Usually, the copy is fine for 60 to 80% of the length but the rest seems so be given totally random.
If I copy the file even over and over again between the same two discs, usually, I keep getting corrupted copies (but not in the same place).
If I copied the files to a different destination drive, usually the problem goes away.
I tried to use the command COPY to command prompt, same problem.
I tried putting the drive source on a USB2 port, so the copy goes much slower, still get corruption.
I ran a test of the RAM for 6 hours with no problems found.
I tried to run a "Linux" operating system on the same computer with drives connected to the same ports, and copies were all good!  But much more slow (about 30 MB/sec instead of 100 MB/s).
Because Windows checks the accuracy of copy of file, it would be a big problem, even if it is not reproducible - but since it is "all the time" and "over and over" with the same files, it's all just crazy!
I have another question strange memory.  I have two 4 GB DRAM sticks in my computer, but the properties shows my memory as:
"GB 8.00 installed (3.98 GB usable)" and right it says "64-bit operating system" - so why can't we use half of my memory?
    Processor: AMD FX-6100 3.3 GHz not overclocked-card mother ASRock 990FX Extreme 4
Note that I have no problem with other programs of writing large files on the same hard drive, for example the output of a video editing software has no problem.
    Suggestions?
    Thank you
    -Gary

I THINK I FOUND THE PROBLEM!

This is the X - Fast USB program supplied with the motherboard ASROCK.
If you have X-Fast USB running (and you know), UNINSTALL IT, reboot and this problem may disappear.  So if please contact ASRock and let them know that their program is ruining your life.

Instead of the hard copy, you can use VMware Converter, or - if you prefer - you can convert the hard using vmware-vdiskmanager (before transfer) or vmkfstools (after downloading). I deal to use vmkfstools you will need to load the mutliextent module (see for example "Clone or migration operations involving virtual discs non-VMFS on ESXi fail with an error" vSphere 5.1 Release Notes)
