File DNG M240 Leica, Rainbow striped washes issues

I pull a Leica MP 240, capturing Jpge Fine and DNG (raw) files at the same time.  Randomly, to import from the SD card to Lightroom 5.6 some of DNG, JPEG files not files, will be washed over with a rainbow striped field.  Outside of Lightroom, including Photoshop, these images display correctly.  I tried to change SD cards and re formatting SD cards, but the problem still happens randomly. Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thank you-MScreen Shot 2015-10-18 at 10.19.47 AM.png

This is caused when a hardware malfunction somewhere has corrupted your image.

This hardware malfunction could be the card of the camera itself, material transfer, your hard disk or your computer's memory.

You must transfer the photos from the card in the camera to the computer again, this time using a different material (and if possible transfer to a different computer) to see if the problem goes away and then isolate the piece of hardware causing this specific problem.

  • Files dng catalog Lightroom 6 not supported

After 2 days struggling with my internet connection very slow, I've finally updated OSX El Capitan JUST so I could update to Lightroom 6 so that I could import of Olympus raw files. At startup, Lightroom prompted me to update my Lightroom Catalog, but Lightroom now displays an error message whenever one of my old dng files are open. Something along the lines of "file appears not supported or damaged.

In addition, it crashes whenever I try to import files from Olympus. so I did not win anything.

is it possible to have another go at updating the catalog Lightroom 6, or do I just go back to Lightroom 5 and maybe forget my subscription of the CC?

  • .htaccess file - download the FTP client in the issue of the Muse

    Hello

I have problems with the help of the Muse upload to FTP host function.

All simply when I try and download any website changes from directly within the Muse, it overwrites the file .htaccess

and cause the web pages load correctly, i.e. just the text and images with no CSS format at all.

When I export to the HTML of Muse and download via ftp FileZilla client it works fine.

I have been using the ftp client download of Muse perfectly well until recently.

Unfortunately, the online chat support service has so far been very helpful to help me solve this problem.

I want to continue to use the download internal Muse feature because it is faster!

Any help would be much appreciated

See this discussion my site does not work when I download on my own Web host, but it's good in the preview or BC. Why?

  • Significant RAF files in LR CC with simultaneous conversion to DNG problem

In LR, I like the CC this bug:

Last Sunday (26.06.2016), I imported some (Format RAW files of my Fujifilm X - E2) - RAF to LR with simultaneous conversation in DNG (I do this procedure for a long time). Shortly after the LR imort showed in the upper right of the preview of exclamation. A click on this issue showed the message, by reading this picture LR had a problem. The second last import of the RAF with DNG-conversation (4 weeks) works well. The conversation of CR2 files to DNG makes no problems al the time.

The function "Test-files DNG" shows "Invalid format DNG-Files.

In Photoshop I CC can´t open this DNG files too.

At the same time (May / June 2016) I imported a large number of files (from my Canon EOS 60 d) CR2 with DNG-Conversation and no problem occurred.

    Versions:

    LR CC 2015.6 [1078672], CameraRAW 9.6; E2-firmware Fujifilm X: 4.00; Graphics card GeForce GTS 250/PCIe/SSE2, 341.95 driver Version; OS: Win7 Pro 64 bit.

How to restore images to DNG files? Export is impossible!

Please excuse my bad English, I'm German, I use a German Version LR and I re-translated messages program.

This is the latest version of Adobe Camera RAW that's the problem. I also converted all my Fuji X - E2 RAF files to DNG and with version 6-2015/LR points 6 and PS and bridge with the update of ACR 9.6 none of them are visible.

    So, you have up to 2015 LR/6 - 5.1

Look here for the steps, and instead to install the 2015/6 - 1.1 update installs the 5.1 update.

  • help - a few corrupt after copying the dng files

    Hello

I don't know where to post this, but here's my problem:

When I copy files dng from the computer internal hard drive to a hard drive, many files become corrupt (I guess). When I opened the copies, photoshop just says that he "cannot complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this file type." On OS x, you can usually see a thumbnail preview for each file, but files corrupt, there is only a symbol of dng, and when I enlarge him to preview it will not also show the image.

Of the original files all work perfectly fine. Oddly, not all copied files get damaged. I tried two different hard disks, both had the same problem. copy to another location on the internal hard disk works without problem.

A that someone has encountered such a problem? I couldn't find anything like it online, I don't even know if it's a hardware or software related issue.

    Thank you!

  • Lightroom for mobile: how to get the DNG file

    Hello

Does anyone know how to download a file DNG from iPhone to PC?

    Thank you

Lightroom Mobile synchronizes with a desktop version of Lightroom.

When shooting with the camera in Lightroom, the images are synchronized on your Adobe account:

    www.Lightroom.adobe.com

When you open a catalog on a Mac/PC, you can synchronize only one catalog. To do this, turn on sync:

Now your images will be transferred to your computer.

  • After you rename a folder full of files using LR CC, I now have two of each DNG file with consecutive numbers providing unique names!

After you rename a folder full of .dng and. MOV files using LR CC, I now have two of each file DNG image with consecutive numbers providing unique names. . MOV files are not affected. Activated with "Bridge" and found it said one is one Mac Application, either in the form of windows. I have Lightroom on Mac and Windows PC with local catalogues which are clouds synchronized (but never on at the same time). Could be the cause of this problem? It is possible that differ from the Mac and Windows version catalogs and their creative together via the Cloud technology synchronization can cause this duplication is obvious when all files are renamed by using a number of automatic sequence?

Yes, my default sort criteria is by file name as my beginning of file names with a reverse date followed by a sequence number. I think at some stage I must have reproduced all the files on the Windows PC and saved with a different range of sequence numbers after the element of date filenames outside of LR. Sometime later I have imported in the Lightroom. When I decided to rename all of them using this naming convention, I discovered the duplication hiding behind different file names. This turns out to be a lesson on the practices of workflow systems.

  • Photoshop action on DNG files

I made a simple Photoshop Action that

    1 open a DNG file

2 apply some settings to a 3rd party plugin (nothing to do with the problem I describe)

3 save the file as a PSD

When I run this action on a batch file DNG, Photoshop applies the SAME settings on each DNG file before steps 2 and 3 - these settings since the DNG file that was used to record the action are used.

I wanted that each file in order to have its own individual settings preserved but is not the case.

Is it always going to be the case during the recording of actions on DNG files or is there a way to prevent this?

    All advice appreciated.

You should not need to use a step in your action if your using file > Automate > batch

  • Bridge "get photos from camera" has stopped working and bridge no longer recognize my DNG files

, I've got bridge set up to get the pics off mem.card whenever I have insert one in my laptop (win. 8.1). A week ago I installed PlayMemories from Sony. Without asking he hijacked the task of the bridge to get photos of my cards. What's worse, I tried to start the function "get photos from camera" manually from the deck. Bridge started working, but nothing happens. I uninstalled PlayMemories and reset the bridge, said to my laptop to run bridge as soon as I insert a card. Still nothing is happening and I still can't get the function "get photos" to run manually from the bridge. In any case, I can still rund the DNG Converter to get my photos, but today Bridge does not recognize my files DNG - a well brought yesterday. CS6 downloaded from this link https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html and tried to run the Setup program, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe I should do a full uninstall off CS6 for her to do something... ?  Anyway, if any of you guys could help me with my problems of bridge/CS6, I would be grateful.  I have 3 sets of photos together and a shoot of comp. of snowboarding I have to finish this week

    Good point.

Bridge was not integrated with CS6 to CC? I have a following if, uninstall/reinstall only for laughs.

  • How to import multiple DNG files in first

I want to import several files from a blackmagic 2.5 K camera raw DNG. Each clip is saved in a separate file:

    Screen Shot 2014-04-15 at 12.39.35 p.m..png

I can import each clip separately by selecting the folder and clicking on a DNG file, but - for obvious practical reasons - I would import all planes at once. However, when I try to do, first does not matter the clips. Instead, it is important each folder and inside them, there is not a single element, but also many clips as files DNG aggravated this particular clip. In other words, if the clip had files DNG CENT ONE, first matter this clip ONE HUNDRED times, not once:

    Screen Shot 2014-04-15 at 12.51.29 p.m..png

In this image, each file contains the INTEGER, not only a DNG file clip. Is there a solution for this? Otherwise, the DNG files must be imported one by one, which of course makes the workflow much more difficult.

Hi @Softananda, I have the same problem as you, but I managed to find a more temporary solution which is perhaps useful for you or other users.

You can go into the folder where all your rushes are and simply search for all files that subfolders ending with 00000.dng

This way, you will have all the dng files first of each sequence, and you can move directly to your media in the first pool, where they appear as unique sequences of all your dng files.

For me, it works like a charm.

I hope it's useful for someone.

    Bye!

  • DNG files exported from the LR4 showing does not changes made when opened in PSE10?

I have LR4, and once I do some changes that I exported the files I want to use DNG.  Then I open them in PSE10 to make final changes.  It has been working well, in fact I had an old version of Adobe Raw in my PSE on my other computer.  Then when I opened to post-secondary studies, he would ask if I wanted to convert to compatible version for editing in camera raw.  I always says no b/c I have has no need to do more raw edits.  Now that I've installed PSE on my new computer, it has the new version of ACR I guess.  When I open the DNG Edit now I no longer have this error message, but it's to show my contrast, etc. as an action setting raw instead of the changes I made in LR.  Some are like vibrance, but "recovery" that I know is "strong points" in LR, and other things are not displayed correctly.  I know that the options are different, but I don't want to use the ACR settings he uses when I open the file, or have to go through them again.  I'm not there is something I'm missing, but he cannot know.  Thanks for any help!

There is zero advantage to sending files DNG at the PSE. As you can see, you're not see your changes and get different sliders in PSE, and indicates that certain types of ACR version mismatch. And since you say you are done making the FIRST changes, this wastes just opening time of the DNG in the PSE/ACR interface that you will not use...

Rather than send the DNG PES files, send a TIF file to PSE using the command of Lightroom Photo-> change, and this TIF will open directly in the editor, with all of your changes from Lightroom intact PSE.

  • For a DNG file .xmp sidecar...

Photoshop CS6 reference indicates that "when a DNG file is processed in Camera Raw, the settings are stored in the file DNG itself, but they can be stored in an XMP file instead." How can I keep the changes to a DNG file in a file? Thank you.

One way to do it is to do the DNG read-only.
