  I was thinking of buying another drive in Vista or maybe a new windows 7 one... but what guarrantee do I think it will work...? I could spend $ 500 for no results...

  I searched the internet for months looking for an answer, and everyone seems to mean the same thing... Operating the drive should be issued when the computer is purchased...

  First of all, it would be interesting to know if another disc would work. Perhaps your CD/DVD drive doesn t work properly so she wouldn t read any type of disc.

  How the Virtual Machine has been backed up and restored?  If Time Machine then...

  It is a known fact that Time Machine is not 100% reliable backing up/restoring VMS in all circumstances/conditions.  Also back up Virtual Machines via Time Machine of disk/time intensive and wastes a lot of space for something that may be corrupted and worthless time to restore it.  At least I would exclude the Virtual Machines with virtual machines and Time Machine shutdown, not suspended and VMware Fusion closed and then manually copy the VMS to another location, preferably on a different physical hard drive.  So keep the user data stored in the virtual machine saved out of the Virtual Machine on a regular basis in order to always have a backup of the current user data.  If you need to restore a properly saved by VM is not as common at least you will have a virtual working Machine and data user to go forward with when you find out your Time Machine backup of the virtual machine fails.  Also take a look at: best practices for backup of virtual machine (programs and data) in VMware Fusion (1013628)

  That said, if you don't have a copy of the file "Windows 7 - f004.vmdk" and then to try to retrieve the data from the user, you can try the following:

  I've just updated to 6.0.3 merger Friday and everything worked fine. Tonight, I wanted to start my VM and it gives me this error message: file not found: Windows XP Professional 2 - Snapshot294.vmsn

  When I look on my computer for this file or any other file of snapshot, it appears in the Finder, but the virtual machine cannot start. Even a restoration of the snapshot does not work.

  I need to have Windows running for work emails, so any help is appreciated. I am running 10.9.3 Mavericks and had NO problems so far.

Am on my own ethernet network, access the internet with what we call now AT & T Yahoo via their DSL service.  The company with which I work stations streaming of audio files that are accessed by using Windows Media Player. Windows XP users just go on the company's website and click on the appropriate button to listen to the file.

  When I do the same, Windows Media Player opens, I give "file not found" instead of audio. I can 'see' the file name, right click on it and see its properties (size 0, no media acess etc.) so "not found" seems to be the wrong term. The file is there, but I can't access it.

  Sharing and discovery in network and sharing Center seems to be the problem. The six options, all are "on" except the last, "media sharing." It is 'Off '.  And while I can change the first five options on and outside, not so "media sharing."  Instead of turn it on, I get this message: "when media sharing is on, people and devices on the network can access shared music, photos and videos on this computer and this computer can find these types of files shared on the network.

  And that is, of course, exactly what I'm trying to do.  What should I do to actually enable media sharing? I understand that sharing has its risks, and my goal is to get access to these audio files continuously to be able to listen to them online or download it to my library to access more specific only later.

  Hi Paul.P,

  If you select an agent for execution of your, this agent should have access to all sources of data (DB, files,...) used in your integration project.

  You can map a network drive on the server where the agent is running and move files. Or you can get it from the original location via FTP or sFTP, for example. But your server must be able to manage this file at some point, if you want to use.

  If there is no way you can have the files on this server, you must take the opposite approach and install a new agent, where the files are located.
