  I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 (about two months) on network VerizonWireless. Yesterday, I started to see a spinning hourglass that wouldn't go away, and now I can't receive emails. (I'm not on a customer business). The signal shows 1XEV connection and I see the ' up/down' arrows flashing periodically, but still no email comes through. All except the standard five applications are closed and I tried the option "remove the battery when the unit is running and wait a few minutes before plugging it back" does not.   @rmaurer: I forgot to mention the battery drain, but the mine who did as well.

  The idea of 'everything back and get another' is never very satisfying for me. Especially if I have to keep doing it over and over again (like bobcawman, above), and he never really addresses the problem.   The mass storage mode only works with a media card on the curve. I think that the "BOLD" is the only phone that can have the internal reader works in mass storage mode.
